We don't want check on bags (because it gets expensive and we don't want to lose the bags with no permanent address) but we need at least one bag the fits camera gear and hopefully (Here it is!) clothes and other normal things. So I know you might be a backpack snob, but seriously... the compartments and the storage on this from the kickstarter page looks awesome.
well, actually Canon announced the 1DX markIII a few days ago, and they stated that they worked together with professional photographers. And since Peter is (getting everything for free by) working with Canon, I wouldn't be shocked if they pulled him into the development process of that camera, because we all know, how much he loves the 1DX mark II... Didn't even take 2 years haha
actually the pricing is right in line with LowePro and all the other top bags on the market right now! I'd recommend getting in the kickstarter before you gotta pay full MSRP!
PM: 2017 You don’t need gear to make great photos. PM: 2019 I made a new $500 camera bag that cost more than the basic camera you can take great photos with.
I have the 30L Nomatic bag - the newest model I believe - and it has many shortcomings that really hinder an otherwise really good bag. Almost all amount to small details that were overlooked; things like being able to stand on it's own once loaded instead of falling forward, zippers that aren't smooth, etc. I hope this bag doesn't suffer from any of those plights, because it looks incredible.

Nomadic is a exceptional company, just as Peak Design. They have a very positive and high reputation of delivering quality bags and travel gear. I've backed them in the past and can't speak negatively of them whatsoever. This is an epic collaboration and very necessary. I thought I would like the Peak Design bags, but I just didn't find the "security" I needed from them with their dividers. I believe this system will alleviate those problems. Great job Pete! Absolutely backed this project without even having to see the video. The bag system speaks for itself. and PS. Matti is probably the most beautiful man I've ever seen....I'm going to need to find me a Swedish husband, STAT!

Regardless of whether or not you like the bag or can afford the bag etc. - There was a time in Pete’s life where this was only something he could dream about - it’s similar to a kid playing basketball and dreaming of having his or her own sneaker one day - it’s a well deserved moment - he obviously is an extremely talented individual and a ridiculously hard worker - on top of that, (as far as I can tell from following him the last few years), he seems likes a genuinely decent person- so this should go without saying, but I’m extremely happy for this guy right here - I think the bag looks amazing and if anything it’s inspiring to see how far Pete has come - I’m finding it’s a very common thing these days, for people to be hesitant to share good news because other people have a tendency of putting people down out of jealousy- instead of picking people up and showing support. Genuinely wishing Pete success with the product and continued success with his career. Definitely will try to get my hands on one of these bags if I can!

@@odljorel pete's a good guy, but honestly, this cam-bag's nothing special to me. nothing that the protactic or many other bags don't do. even the cube pack you can find for example from lowepro called passport duo (50$). and all those hard shelf cases too. and you could assemble everything probably for way less then 500$ (or later on 675$!), and still use experienced brands like lowepro'n others. ...and you don't even have to wait until may 2020. ...having space for additional clothing is one thing, but then only having space for about two lenses is the other thing. To the end it's still a 40L bag. Take any other 40L cam bag and only two lenses, and you'll have the same space for your calvin klein undies.

Disclaimer: This bag doesn‘t come with the PM lifestyle. Seriously, it seems to be a very cool bag but for that price you can get so much other gear that could really improve your work. I also dislike to have the signature of somebody else on my stuff. Reminds me of all the signature guitar series somehow...good stuff but very fanboy-ish.

I have one camera and one lens and I have a bag almost similar in size, only use the side zipper for the camera, the rest is for food and clothing in case that I need it. Hopefully soon would be filled with more gear. No need to have all the gear to get one.

Plus, assuming how much of a family man he is, all that time away means all the time he will want to make up to his family when he's back. if the bag is as good as (or better) then the atlas camera bags. It might be worth it! but I can tell how much went into this. They are making at least a 50-80% profit (my guess since thats the ROI [return of investment] you want) once manufactured. You need to remember you are mainly paying for the R&D[Research and development] for this. so in the end probably worth it. As long as I can go on days with this without killing my back im sold.

@@aaronofra I'm not Skyler Li, but i own the PD Everyday backpack aswell, the smaller of the two, and it's ones of the best backpacks i've ever owned. I usually walk around with a Sont A7R II, 85, 1.8, and the kit lens. Plus room for other stuff in the top, plus my work computer in the computer pocket. It's great! I do however really enjoy Peters new one, a bit too big for my everyday life though =/
