this story hits close to home for me. I am completely blind and have a white eye due to surgery. Had trouble making friends because of it and was often lonely until I was in high school. My first ever birthday party was when I was 15, and even then, there were only 3 teens there, My closest friends. I pray that to anyone who reads this who has a disability, Know that you are a strong person and don't let the bullies define who you are. You will find compassionate and friendly people eventually in your life

It's really hard having to listen to them say homophobic things and sexist things all the time while I'm trying to eat my lunch.
