I just started following this channel two weeks ago. I searched for the videos on how Mav set up his truck. This is really awesome. As someone that lost my dad two years ago, It brought back fond memories seeing you get dad's approval on your car purchase.

Watching this video reinvigorates my appreciation of my 2009 F-150 SuperCrew XLT. Bought it brand new back then, payments sucked but she’s been a great truck. The harsh winters and salt have given her hell though.

I hate when the sales people want to come on the test drive with me. Super distracting when I’m trying to get a feel for the truck and inspect it. Good choice on the white one man

I bought my f-150 2010 with 82,000 miles. I love it. The color is blue preferably wanted black but, it’s my first big adult purchase and saw your video just from the story of you getting yours very close to how I got mine. 🙏

Good choice on the truck. You like the fact that you have the skid plates with the FX4 if you ever go up in the mountains. Use it like a truck just make sure to do maintenance and it'll be good. Keep em comin.

That rust is nothing compared to what it could be in a few years. that rust is easily fixable right now sand it down some primer some wet sanding and some paint and it's good.

I found this channel because I just bought a white 2011 xlt supercrew V8 coming from a Nissan frontier it is a very big difference. But it is awesome!
Great video! My 2013 f150 has been amazing. 5.0 v8 has tons of power and good fuel economy for a full-size truck. Good luck and enjoy the new ride!
Also something my truck came with that the previous owner installed was a slide out cargo tray. Makes things easy to get in and out of the back of the truck especially with a topper on it. Ik its a year old video, but I got a 2011 F150 as well. Differences are that truck is black, RWD, no back cam (I don't like back cams anyway), no back window control, and biggest thing is that mine is a 6 cylinder, not 8. I guess what others might call a downgrade to yours, but I love it still. Glad to see you enjoy your F150!

2011 fx4 is basically Lariat equivalent because fx4 is just a suspension package available on all models now
Before i got this 150..i traveled almost 300 miles back and forth looking in 2 different states..o went from Massachusetts to New Hampshire to Vermont.. Back and forth 3 different times.. This 150 was in Vermont.. Picked it up18,500.. No rust.. Only thing i don't like bout it.. Out don't have rear tire well covers.. Ford didn't do it that year.
