Perjury charges for Emma & Garth aren't just to punish. Holding them accountable forces them to understand their actions must be lawful and that the law of the land trumps their do-it-yourself religious law. Holding them accountable also protects the community in which they live. The charges will provide actionable tools for their taxpayer-funded jobs to counsel, discipline, or remove them. Their beliefs and feeling above the law can not be allowed to influence the children of the area. Perjury charges are a step to stop the madness and serve as a warning to others who try to take the law into their own hands.
My son and daughter in law are both teachers and I cannot imagine them working with the likes of those two. Or my sweet grandchild or any child in a room with Emma and Garth.
Emma only got her position because of her mother. I can imagine that the other teachers/admins in that school may be upset with Emma's testimony. (Emma's a teacher but she'll be sittin' alone at lunch.)
Prior may have not included the relevant voice inflection with the word, but he may have been doing what my ex's female, recovering alcoholic, attorney did during our 5+ years in divorce court, when she asked me, "Can you tell me, was there a wedding dress worn at [this] September 1975 wedding?" My response: "I didn't realize it was mandatory attire for 2 people to be wed!" 😂😂😂😂😂
No one will ever believe that someone was burying bodies on Chads property without him knowing. The plan to put the mobile home on top of thier graves just brings it home!
Yeah, I'm not clear how someone gets into your garage gets your pickaxe, shovel, whatever, and digs a big old hole in the yard, puts two bodies in and literally no one noticed anything? That's just a ridiculous assertion.
I think it boils down to one question. If you take Chad out of the equation/conspiracy, would the children and Tammy be alive? the answer is yes, therefore he’s guilty.
Perfectly said!! I’m hoping the Jurors not only find him guilty on all counts but assess the death penalty. Chad deserves nothing less, even if it takes 20-30 years.
I don't understand. Isn't it possible the bones were broken during the burning? (I guess I didn't listen to the testimony as well as I thought I did, it would sure make me feel better if this were so.)
The levels of hypocrisy in this family! Tammy wasn't allowed to play video games but Garth was? Tammy was the 'lazy' one but she worked two jobs, attended exercise classes and looked after her animals.... meanwhile Chad wrote (poorly written) books and had visions.... please.... No wonder Tammy went to bed early..... I would too if it meant getting a minute to play Candy Crush without Emma spying on me or having to listen to Chad pontificate in his monotone about spirits and visions and whatnot....
@@kellyhensley690 Well then.... If she was going to bed even before dinner as Emma testified- especially if she was playing video games during that time, Chad could have used that as part of his justification for what he did to Tammy.
When Emma said on the stand that Chad didn't like dogs, I immediately thought of JJ's Service dog, Bailey. I hope and pray Chad gets everything coming to him. May Justice continue to Prevail..
There is a saying in German "If someone doesn't love dogs or cats, they don't love anyone" (it's hard to translate directly, but that's the meaning). I found this to be true throughout my life. My family has the sweetest Cocker Spaniel who would get vicious when my Mother's employer stopped by. She would go into full-on protective mode. I always felt strange around him and never once doubted her. Animals can sense danger and evil in people. If I was single and met someone who didn't like or accept my dog, they would very quickly understand that I would choose my dog over them any time. 100% red flag and deal breaker. Oh, and remember that Chris Watts didn't care for Dieter either! This had me question his entire performance as the "perfect" husband. Which is all it was; a performance.
And Emma accidentally said 'my dad just watched his wife die.' I thought she died while he was asleep next to her, and she fell out of the bed?? Another Freudian slip.
She did have a part in it! If not at the time, then surely after the fact. States gonna play audio of Chad telling her what to say, they asked specific questions and gave dates To which Emma denied, this puts blood on her hands. I hope she is found in contempt or is charged with perjury, we can’t just let people who would help cover up serial murders slide let alone teach our children!!
Complicit at the least. Not sure if she is directly involved, but she believes his beliefs and is clearly fine with "zombies" being killed - even if her mother. Which makes her at least as despicable as Melanie B who absolutely knew these kids were killed and was fine with it. (Obs just my opinion)
Chad did not like children that were not his, Chad also didn't like spouses especially those with big life insurance policies. Than again both JJ and Tylee had money from social security which he helped spend no doubt.
@c15470-I agree! Garth has a reason not to tell the true story, and McKay gains nothing. And simply the way McKay gave his testimony sounded more genuine than Garth. Garth seems like a very sweet but simple…child. I think he is a sweet mama’s boy who is very naive on the ways of the world and the way evil can exist. And it’s a startling moment when anyone realizes their parents are human, with faults after growing up seeing our parents as the all-knowing. Emma certainly can’t face that fact. She is still seeing her favorite parent as perfect and can’t fathom that Chad may have some (very serious!) faults.
My heart hurts so much for Tylee. What happened to JJ is also awful, don’t misunderstand me, but they butchered that sweet girl. That’s what upsets me the most, I think. Whoever mutilated her _hated_ her. She didn’t even do anything, and they hated her so much. I hope she’s at peace and I hope as much worldly justice as possible is done for her and JJ.
When you see how Chad controlled his own adult kids, you can understand how his narcissistic rage was provoked by Tylee standing up for herself against him. I hope she haunts him nightly alongside his devoted, misguided wife Tammy. RIP.
Tylee saw through Chad's delusion. Because of his 'loinfire' Lori uprooted her from her friends and family by moving them to Rexburg and I doubt she made much effort to hide her disdain for him, same as with Melanie Gibb. That will have really upset Chad and I suspect he has quite a temper on him which he keeps hard under wraps, but that came out with Tylee.
Exactly. And, I don’t believe, for a minute, that Alex hated her, he may have really believed she was a zombie, but, I believe, he loved Tylee, people have said they had a good relationship. So, that leaves Chad and Lori. I do believe Lori had always hated her, too, but really hated her when Tylee didn’t approve of Chad. Tylee was competition for Lori. I do believe Alex helped, but I don’t believe he hated Tylee, he was being manipulated, and, in a way, I think Alex was a victim, of sorts, too.
@@MissMolly3377 Alex murdered Charles in front of Tylee…Tylee was the only one alive that if she told the truth could get Lori and Alex locked up. She was sacrificed to cover up that crime and help Lori start her new life. Alex I’d bet killed her/JJ at the request of Lori and then buried them on Chads property with his knowledge/help. Not sure you can say Alex loved her I think he’s the executioner here in most of these deaths except Tammy’s although he tried there to…
I think putting a concrete slab for a manufactured home over the bodies was unconscious symbolism for Chad. He would walk above them, and continue to walk on them. He thinks he’s above everyone! He even sticks his nose in the air like he’s above everyone in the court!
What has offended me more than anything in this whole trial is John Prior acting offended beyond all reason that Tammy was dug up from the ground without anyone being told. Well you know what Prior??? Kay, Larry, and Colby didn’t want JJ and Tylee dug up from out of the ground either! And your client caused that to happen!!!!
Yes. The phrasing seems odd, like something a child would say. An adult might say it was distressing, upsetting, and disturbing. Scary is monsters under the bed when you are 5. But I guess if you've been raised by a monster maybe scary is always at the edge of your awareness.
What sticks in my mind when it comes to Emma was when the police was arresting Chad Daybell. He was in the police car and he's giving Emma instructions. He tells her to get rid if the mattress. That made me wonder....did they get rid of the mattress? Was that where Chad Daybell and Alex Cox was " SHEDDING " ? 🤔 ( More Evidence ) Then when Emma told Chad Daybell, " I'll make the neighbors feel sorry for me like when they felt sorry for me at mom's funeral ". That was very telling to me at that piont. Also, I'm sure Chad Daybell has brainwashed his children to believe that all law enforcement are " canes " as he puts it. Strange people.
I sobbed over what happened to those beautiful innocent children. I’ve had a broken jaw & it’s by far the most unbearable & painful bone to be broken in 1 place let alone 6 places. How could anyone possibly do this to any human let alone children! He is beyond evil.
I think Garth was coerced by Chad to lie at the time of the murder but I believe he would have cracked during the aftermath/investigation had it not been for Emma pressuring him to keep covering for their father. Emma is a much stronger personality and she is driving the coverup from the outside.
Well, he was questioned by a Grand Jury who was considering charging him with perjury. I’m not saying he’s not trying protect his father, but he was questioned.
Thank you both for all that you do! My brother was murdered at 25 years old, that was 44 years ago, and I still find myself processing that loss. Your insight must be so helpful for all of the many victims processing this horrific crime.
thank you both so much for everything you do, My brother was also murdered in 1999 , the guy was his roommate and he only served 7 years for murdering my 26 yr old brother at that time
Hearing about both bodies and how they were treated is just horrufic. I can't imagine trying to hold my emotions. The fear and suffering those poor children went through. I can't imagine the jury coming to any other verdict than guikty on all charges.
I hope so and agree it seems SO obvious and a slam dunk, BUT I just don’t want to take it for granted and get too confident because you just never know when it comes to people 🙄😬😳
It's so disgusting, EVEN IF afflicted post-mortem. It takes a lot to bring yourself to destroy a body! Some people may be more sensitive than others. Some may be toughened or used to that in a way by their work (thinking butchers or surgeons etc.). Might also be an indicator of a certain psychological condition. Which I can possibly see in Chad, and the jurors might come to that conclusion, too. Do we know more about Alex? Can we picture him doing something like that (I mean please don't really picture it in your head!)? Also Chad seemed to hate Tylee... 😢
@TheMAmeph Alex seemed to love the kids, but Chad didn't. If Tylee sassed him or wouldn't be controlled by him, that would make him very angry. I could see Alex helping because he was so brainwashed, but as far as anger, I believe that was Chad. He called anyone "dark" who didn't follow him or believe him or who stood up to him.
A lovely video has just been released by the school Tammy worked for. It shows all the staff, including Tammy, singing and dancing around the school and grounds. Tammy looks so happy and healthy, which just proves that her husband and daughter are liars. I watched it 3 times just to remember the lovely Tammy.
I think Emma has "co-dependency" with her father. She wants to do anything to please him including changing her appearances. She and the entire family enabled his behaviors.
@Lauren In the comments of your interview with Joseph Scott Morgan two years ago, someone commented that the nosy neighbor died the same day he had lunch with Chad. From a heart-related matter. Another body
Lauren interviewed a former neighbor in Chad's neighborhood. Very very very interesting listen. I think Eldon was given whatever they gave Tammy and Alex took.
He died of a pulmonary embolism, like Alex. And Chad mentions in that phone call between him and Lori in jail that his death percentage chart worked for a list of people, including his neighbor!
@@anjanell I wonder how they did that. These criminals look like a bunch of normies but man they are SO EVIL. When I sit and think of the fear and pain and death they have caused, it’s mind blowing.
Dr John I really enjoyed seeing you in the Netflix documentary “Sins of our Mother”! My dad, who is just now learning about this trial I’ve been watching, thought it was weird, but he didn’t know exactly what happened. Today, he watched every second of that documentary with me and said Oh dear God, I didn’t know it was THIS BAD! He said “that Dr really can explain things!”-referring to YOU, Dr John! Great job in that documentary! Now, even my Dad is riveted by this. He even compared Chad to Manson, just seeing the documentary and not hearing the evidence and not having watched the trial!
I didn't like him calling her LAZY !!! She carried 5 Children !! She worked at the school, took care of the home !!! Does anyone think he cooked, did dishes, shopped for groceries, changed diapers, gave baths & ETC!! 😂
I think my focus with the rebuttal witnesses was it proved on video that Emma lied, she didn’t just misremember she fabricated a story about the police. If I was a juror I would not only ignore Emma’s testimony but also draw conclusions that she thinks she needs to lie because her father is guilty.
Chad is too lazy to transport all those tools to an offsite location and then take them home. I think her murder happened and attempts to destroy Tyler’s remains happened at the Daybell residence.
If those broken bones happened before Tylee died, there are enough neighbors around that would have heard her screams. Or was the single gunshot that "killed the giant raccoon" the shot that killed her and then the beating and dismemberment began after she was dead? And those other things that Alex's phone had that were out in the middle of nowhere, do you suppose maybe she was killed and beaten up at that location and then transported to Chad's property? There are so many unknowns with this case and we will probably never know.
Thankyou Lauren and Dr. John. Can't wait for the inside goss. This case makes me so angry I could burst. Especially the lack of empathy or loyalty Chad's children have towards their own Mother. Also two college educated adults not wanted to even look at the Autopsy report. ⚖Justice for JJ,Tylee,Tammy and Charles.
Hidden True Crime is one of my favorite subscriptions on TH-cam. I appreciate all you and John do to get Justice for the Victims. What a great partnership between you two. ❤
Dr John what does it say about his children that they don’t seem to be questioning him as to why these children are on his Property? If it was my dad I would be saying DAD WTF?What is going on?”
For me the fact that most ppl blame lori for the most part regarding this crime. And the way we see how ppl look at chads non aggressive approach especially in his speech as a more placid character, for me makes chad even more dangerous.
There 's no real point in choosing between the two. See them for what they are. For Lori and Alex, consider what they did to Joe before they knew Chad. And Megan Connor's story regarding events surrounding the death of Melaniece's mother.
@lieke9460 it isn't about choosing between the two. It is about our society's bad habit of ignoring or excusing a man's bad behavior by finding the closest woman to blame it all on. We do it with serial killers (mother is blamed for creating them) domestic abusers (what did she do to cause it?) and in cases where both the man and woman are equally guilty (she manipulated him into it). Men get way more passes from society despite being the perpetrators in around 96% of ALL violent crime worldwide. No one is saying Lori is innocent. What we're saying is that Chad wasn't manipulated into this. He wanted to kill these children as much as Lori did and was a violent, cruel person all on his own. I'm so tired of the myth of the sweet, unassuming man who risks it all for a conniving woman. These men are conniving and cruel long before a woman comes along.
Emma testified - “And seeing her die was traumatic” Garth’s friend testified that Garth told him that when he found his Mum deceased. “I don’t know where Dad was” It would appear Emma and Garth have told conflicting stories.
Both can be true; Chad was likely aiding Alex and watched Tammy die, then left her room and Garth discovered his mother, ruining Chad’s likely plan of simply waking up and “discovering” his wife had passed away in her sleep. Instead, Garth came home and decided to pop his head into his mom’s door and he saw his mother dead on the floor (I’m guessing she was killed on the floor and left there).
I felt Garth had a much harder time testifying than Emma. Emma clearly wanted everyone to know that she HATED ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT WHETHER THEY WERE LOOKING FOR DEAD CHILDREN OR NOT, but I don't think Garth wanted to be there at all.
@TiffinyHarrington I agree. I think one of the reasons Chad slept upstairs is he didn't want to sleep in the bed he helped kill Tammy in. He may even have slept with Tammy up to that point to make her think everything was normal & okay. Wouldn't surprise me. Overall he seems a hard, selfish man.
These children present with such a flat affect that it seems they have no personality or ability to think for themselves - they have been so indoctrinated by their father that having him exposed as a fraud or a liar is unthinkable to them.
Why on earth would they bury these kids on his property. They could have buried them in so many places where no one would have found them. What does that say about these people?
Chud was trying to get a permit to put a concrete slab over their burial sites and stick a prefab/mobile home on it. His attempt to get this permit was the impetus for law enforcement to get the needed warrants ASAP and find the kids in earnest.
I think it was so Chad could look out everyday and know that he is the reason they're there.. Control.. and also maybe as a way to control the others if they start going astray - he could always say.. all I have to do is make a call and .. idk.. hurts my heart so much .
A possible Garth scenario: I think Chad manipulated Garth and told him that people would think Garth hurt his mother. For that reason they shouldn’t tell the truth. Chad pretended to be the good father shielding his son from unnecessary questions. So initially Garth bought into the lie because his dad told him it was for Garth’s protection. Chad could have come on the scene shortly after Garth found his mom. I can see Chad taking advantage and twisting the situation by saying: Garth, I know you didn’t do anything, but look at your mom. She’s passed. She has foam coming out of her mouth. Let’s wait until the foam stops or slows down, so the police don’t think you did anything. Don’t worry Garth, I’m your father and I’ll help you…. Garth was stunned, and bought in because he thought his dad was protecting him. As for the missing quarter pounder: Chad ate it! (Of course)
@@Tammy_26Irwin Defense called the final rebuttal witness to try to show that Chad was not present to participate in the brutal murder. But the testimony only served to vividly remind the jurors of the brutal murder that Chad conspired to commit which is what he is charged with.
@@gauisblach7757 I’m glad you did because Lou lip sync ships and then he claims that her death was natural, but then he says the word murder in his line of questioning
Happy belated heavenly birthday JJ. Oh the places you and Tylee would have gone!!! Please know that you, Tylee, your Daddy Charles , and Tammy will never be forgotten.
I think more than the Freudian slips was Emma saying she was possessed. I think Chad told Emma her mother was already dead and possessed by Viola and was asking to have her body dispensed with as a favor. And that just as the righteous have to “flee” he convinced Emma and Garth that the righteous have to “lie” for the higher good.
Melanie G Zulema, Lori’s niece need to be punished also. Everybody knows they were fully involved; wouldn’t that be awful to live your life like that. Plea or no Plea! We know, ladies!‼️
Did anyone else find Pryor's questions about how coworkers interact & whether or not they would confide in each other or share things really odd? Has he never connected with coworkers? Sharing how a family member passed away isn't sharing some personal information-it's very common. In Tammy's case she's spending all day with coworkers & attending activities & events with them- you would normally develop friendships.
Yes. Laughable. I think many have very close relationships w coworkers who they may never socialize w outside of work bc they r already spending so so many hours every week w these coworkers! The more stressful the job, the closer these relationships r, especially for women. There's also a certain freedom to share very personal info w folks who r totally unaligned w one's family. I've experienced this many times over the years.
Doctor John saying "You're always an outlire." Not to take away from the case, but it's lovely how much you two love and respect one another. It's needed after the horror of the facts.
This text message really proves Chad’s guilt imo: “I turned up the pain to 10 and placed a spiritual virus in her,” Daybell texted Vallow on July 18, 2019, referring to Ryan. Chad also texted about “Rafael” (Chad) visited JJ and told him to follow Amy (I think that’s Tylee) into the light. That to me is definitely a component of conspiracy.
Emma's manner of speaking is odd. It sounds like she is talking through her teeth, she is emotionless, she is rehearsed, she thinks her testimony is believable.
Thank you for the intelligent analysis of this case. I started following your podcasts when the children were missing. I agree with you one hundred percent. So, thank you.
I absolutely love how sweet and loving you and your husband are with each other. So nice to see a couple who respect one another and really like each other 💕💕💕
Thank you Lauren for keeping us updated on what's going on with this trail and thank you Dr.John for your expert opinion. You both have been a great team. God bless you both. ❤❤❤
I'll throw this out as a possibility, maybe to make myself feel better. I once witnessed a pet cremation. At some point late in the process, a tool was used to break up the bones. If Chad ever watched a cremation during his years working at the cemetery, perhaps he saw this happen too. Maybe the tool injuries to Tylee's pelvic area were an attempt to break up the larger bones of her sacroiliac (pelvis) during the attempt to burn her remains. Just a thought.
If I am not mistaken, Joseph Scott Morgan also spoke about this. I have watched so many videos recently that I am not sure anymore who says what. If it was him, then it was on the Websleuths channel.
@@vihmakeyes I couldn’t think of his name but that’s it. That’s what he thinks. But did Lauren say we know those stabbings & breakings happened at or near the time of death?
I don’t feel sorry for her one bit. She is a mother but has no feelings for the two dead children in their back yard. She is as evil as her monster of a father. I would not have her anywhere near my children.
IMO Chad didn’t “like” Tammy. He felt stuck, unhappy, unfulfilled and blamed her for all his woes. “If she would have been more supportive” or “if she would have been sexier” whatever it is. He is a narcissist to the last cell in his body and true narcissists hate their wives and blame EVERYONE AND ANYONE for anything that isn’t perfect in their lives. Tammy was screwed from day one. God bless her and JJ and sweetheart Tylee. ♥️🙏🏽
As someone who was married to a Narcissist for 6 years before I escaped,I totally agree. My ex blamed everything on me,disparaged me ,said my cooking was bland, accused me of being lazy and exhausted all the time. All the untruths. This is all part of the horrible cycle of discard / devaluing that went on.He sure wanted me around to do all the grunt work though. Even coverts feel very superior. My daughter took about 6 yrs to deprogram from his influence, and didn't fully do so until her turned on her a bit as she wasn't quite so compliant any more at puberty age and started resisting the control.I also got full custody then at age 12 and by age 16 she was starting to point out the hypocrisy. One has to be completely out of the forest to see the trees.Otherwise it feels like maze. These Daybell kids seem extremely enmeshed with huge cognitive dissonance.Religion mixed in with Narcissists is potent for purposes of mind control.
That is because the very large raccoon is at my house, tearing up my garden and flowers. 🤬 😂 He/she is a huge raccoon, too, which is surprising, since I live in PA, and he came all the way from Idaho. 😂
I just listened again to chad and lori’s taped call with Melanie Gibb. Chad says “My kids were with me within 20 minutes of her passing” Another story line that changed!! I couldn’t believe how I missed it! Phone call from Melanie gibb while chad and lori in Hawaii.
I did catch it but did the state ever bring that fact up? Because he said originally that Tami died sometime after midnight , I think what happened is what Garth’s friend said. He found Tami, Chad wasn’t there and they needed hours to get their story straight. Those kids are still drinking Chads kool-aid. I don’t see anything but a guilty verdict.
So did Emma Daybell just testify "That Chad's displays of emotional distress were more genuine than she's ever seen him in her entire life and even though Chad is in a relationship with another woman, he still valued Tammy as a person and that seeing her die, (*according to the medical examiner's findings*:While being asphyxiated!) was very traumatic!😳
I did not have a full picture in my head of what happened to Tylee…it’s crazy that the last witness the DEFENSE puts on gives me a full gruesome picture of Tylee fighting for her life and how vicious it was for her. Well done Pryor, if I didn’t already hate these people, I certainly do now after hearing that.
Garth does know some truth regarding his mothers murder. Thats Why he was So Quiet, disturbed, and distant when the authorities were there. He was terrified he would say the wrong thing, and in shock that his father murdered his Mom 💔
Ok. I wasn’t trying to be ugly. I just asked a question. It was my understanding that “burning the limbs” and “the raccoon” was code for burning one or both of the kids. Sorry I asked!😟
They only buried the parts that didn't burn well enough. The parts that did burn well are probably in the landfill. She was burned there, within Chad's area of control, imo
As a juror, if I heard Prior’s slip about murder, it would weigh heavy in my consideration. Lawyers are perceptive after dealing with many cases and they are privy to more info than is presented to the public.
Thank you, Lauren, for your openness that you have been wanting to come home. We would never have known. Dr. John, thank you for all you do at home to allow Lauren to attend the full trial. Also, that's amazing that you've said that in light of you being the sole caregiver for your son. Impressive!
Mr Prior spent a lot of time establishing that Chad's cell phone data did NOT place him on his property. He belabored the point that Alex' cell data was clearly there. So if Tylee's murder happened elsewhere, WHERE WAS CHAD? If not on his property, what was he doing?
He could have simply turned off his phone. Really that simple. And we all know Alex was no brain surgeon and left his on all the time. Alex’s FOMO ratted them all out.
I’ve been here since the firsts posts from the dining table. This case has been such a drain on those of us following that I can’t imagine the drain on you, Lauren, and John. Above all, I think constantly of the family and other loved ones & friends of Charles, Tylee, JJ, Tammy, and even Alex. Thank you for your continued attention and compassion.

So was Tylee in Chad's possession at that time? I thought she was with Lori.
How could you as a Mama or uncle do that to your kids or nieces or nephews
He didn’t have that power!
100%
Nice point😮
And Tammy was in charge of dinner
@@kellyhensley690 Well then.... If she was going to bed even before dinner as Emma testified- especially if she was playing video games during that time, Chad could have used that as part of his justification for what he did to Tammy.
This would make a great closing argument too🥹. What an ugly & demented mind Chad had ALL along!!
When Emma said on the stand that Chad didn't like dogs, I immediately thought of JJ's Service dog, Bailey. I hope and pray Chad gets everything coming to him. May Justice continue to Prevail..
Oh I did too 😭 he’s a monster
Chad doesn’t like dogs because they know what he is…. Dogs know, they sense crazy.
Me too sick man 🤢
There is a saying in German "If someone doesn't love dogs or cats, they don't love anyone" (it's hard to translate directly, but that's the meaning).
Animals know
If Chad thinks that he has a chance of being acquitted, he's even more delusional than his children.
And when he is convicted of these murders Emma will realize lying didn’t help and wasn’t worth of perjury. Hopefully her and Garth get charged
And Emma accidentally said 'my dad just watched his wife die.'
I thought she died while he was asleep next to her, and she fell out of the bed??
Another Freudian slip.
This news is so hard to hear. Alex and Lori were and are sick.
Chad has absolutely no heart. His kids better wake up. I don't believe parents will want her teaching their children. Also the brother, Garth.
After hearing Emma's testimony, I went from feeling sorry for her to thinking she was in on it, just the impression I got
Exactly I think the same thing that Emma had a part in this horrific murderers. Remember Chud Dumbbell stated his can keep a secret
🙌🏻
Yep!
Complicit at the least. Not sure if she is directly involved, but she believes his beliefs and is clearly fine with "zombies" being killed - even if her mother. Which makes her at least as despicable as Melanie B who absolutely knew these kids were killed and was fine with it. (Obs just my opinion)
Chad is the reason the kids were murdered
And other people we may NOT know about on that land.
Emma said she had a dark spirit, but she’s still alive. Unfortunately the other kids aren’t. All because of Chad
Exactly
Woah that’s a huge catch - the murder comment !
Chad did not like children that were not his, Chad also didn't like spouses especially those with big life insurance policies. Than again both JJ and Tylee had money from social security which he helped spend no doubt.
Does anyone else love how proud Lauren is every time she introduces John? It’s so wholesome.
Macay was just so candid and came across genuine that contrasted with Garth’s rehearsed statement
Plus, he has absolutely nothing to gain from a lie. He's a very credible witness.
Plus he told his parents that night what Garth had told him!
😊pool ķj buy
I think he doesn't like to be reminded how loved she was, Tammy. Because she was more important to the community than he was/is.
I do believe Alex helped, but I don’t believe he hated Tylee, he was being manipulated, and, in a way, I think Alex was a victim, of sorts, too.
exactly, and it sounds like she was beaten badly before she died
@@MissMolly3377
Alex murdered Charles in front of Tylee…Tylee was the only one alive that if she told the truth could get Lori and Alex locked up.
Good point! Definitely seems like his personality
Concrete slab is like a cemetery vault or gigantic tombstone. Imagine living over it.
He ain’t gonna be sticking his nose up in prison, I doubt he’ll even lookup
Poor Tylee Im crying to think of what she went through 😢 Such evil must be punished. Rest with the angels Baby girl 🦋
Confusing how they use the word ground! Don't seem to have floors?
Well said!!!!!
Did anyone else catch Emma saying, "Seeing him so distressed and emotionally out of control was very scary to me" in her witness statement?
Yep!
Yes. The phrasing seems odd, like something a child would say. An adult might say it was distressing, upsetting, and disturbing. Scary is monsters under the bed when you are 5. But I guess if you've been raised by a monster maybe scary is always at the edge of your awareness.
These kids are emotionally immature and seem have limited a ability to processing their experiences. They are very literal and basic.
@@catlink8998I agree & honestly most of the things she said were bizarre. She’s definitely a very odd person. Not only odd but a blatant liar.
I agree with you. You’re spot on.
💯
Well, he was questioned by a Grand Jury who was considering charging him with perjury. I’m not saying he’s not trying protect his father, but he was questioned.
One can only hope the guilty get's the best of him, he comes clean one day.. Who could live with something like that...
Thank you both for all that you do! My brother was murdered at 25 years old, that was 44 years ago, and I still find myself processing that loss. Your insight must be so helpful for all of the many victims processing this horrific crime.
thank you both so much for everything you do, My brother was also murdered in 1999 , the guy was his roommate and he only served 7 years for murdering my 26 yr old brother at that time
@@JodiSacca wow, 5-7 years for my brothers murderer. I’m sorry for your loss. The grief is lifelong.
Hearing about both bodies and how they were treated is just horrufic. I can't imagine trying to hold my emotions. The fear and suffering those poor children went through. I can't imagine the jury coming to any other verdict than guikty on all charges.
I hope so and agree it seems SO obvious and a slam dunk, BUT I just don’t want to take it for granted and get too confident because you just never know when it comes to people 🙄😬😳
Is it possible to know if the traumatic injuries were inflicted post-mortum or when the kids were still alive? I really hope it was post-mortum.
And to think that Chad's children believe that he had nothing to do with this. The bodies were in their yard, for God's sake!
Remember to honor our fallen soldiers!! Who gave their lives. For our freedom and democracy!!😊😊
I love it when you can see Dr John’s wheels start turning.
My favorite part of watching the channel. ❤
What always comes to mind with me is when chad said that his kids were good at keeping secrets. I think this says it all
You both are partners in the most authentic reporting on this fascinating trial. I too have been on board for 4 plus years and can’t look away. 💞
You are absolutely correct Lauren! “Don’t under estimate the amount of evil”
@Lauren In the comments of your interview with Joseph Scott Morgan two years ago, someone commented that the nosy neighbor died the same day he had lunch with Chad. From a heart-related matter. Another body
I really hope they looked into that…
That neighbor is being completely ignored. He probably died the same way that Joseph Ryan and Alex Cox did
Lauren interviewed a former neighbor in Chad's neighborhood.
I think Chad's kids need a grown up punishment called Jail for perjury.
Yes that’s the law, why isn’t it being enforced ? If perjury isn’t enforced then why have it ?
I didn't like him calling her LAZY !!! She carried 5 Children !! She worked at the school, took care of the home !!! Does anyone think he cooked, did dishes, shopped for groceries, changed diapers, gave baths & ETC!! 😂
Thanks for clarifying convict on conspiracy Dr. John! So horrific what happened to Tylee and JJ! There are no words what the children suffered.
I think my focus with the rebuttal witnesses was it proved on video that Emma lied, she didn’t just misremember she fabricated a story about the police. If I was a juror I would not only ignore Emma’s testimony but also draw conclusions that she thinks she needs to lie because her father is guilty.
I would bet Chad heard the Freudian slip "murder" and was probably absolutely seething.
I believe you're right!
I thought the same
They should be charged. Prevent any other people doing this in future trials. They more than deserve to be held accountable.
Chad is too lazy to transport all those tools to an offsite location and then take them home. I think her murder happened and attempts to destroy Tyler’s remains happened at the Daybell residence.
Yes, I think Alex drove with Tylee to Chad's on some spurious errand for Lori. I doubt she would have gone otherwise.
@@ishbelharris1857That is what I have been thinking for a long time.
Did they spray luminal on the floors of those sheds/barns??
Lauren, I can't rave enough over what an awesome job you and Dr. John are doing with your input into this trial!
Maybe programmed from a young age that Dad knows it all ,and they should never question "GOD " Chad.
Exactly. We all know the saying "watch out for the quiet one".
Emma testified - “And seeing her die was traumatic” Garth’s friend testified that Garth told him that when he found his Mum deceased. “I don’t know where Dad was”
It would appear Emma and Garth have told conflicting stories.
His dad was probably on the phone with Lori reporting their success
Can u imagine Emma as a teacher. They say her class is getting smaller, kids getting pulled out.
That last jail call. They actually let listeners know where the bodies were. That was amazing

There is something really sick about this.....A power trip for Chad!
Control.
I think it was so Chad could look out everyday and know that he is the reason they're there..
Control.. and also maybe as a way to control the others if they start going astray - he could always say.. all I have to do is make a call and .. idk.. hurts my heart so much .
Chad is probably lazy- he didn't want to go out into the wild and start digging.
Chad has got away w his bs for years. His lawyer tried to get out of representing him and the judge wouldn't approve that change.
Dr. John and the shedding just cracks me up. It's a little bit of humour, which is definitely needed with this case.😢
Same! 😂
John is hilarious "don't shed on me!"
A possible Garth scenario:
I think Chad manipulated Garth and told him that people would think Garth hurt his mother.
As for the missing quarter pounder:
Chad ate it! (Of course)
Oh. Great theory!
I think it was a bad move to remind the jury just how gruesome the murder was.
Please explain that? Because the state is already got a conviction in the trial from last year. I think they know what they’re doing.
@@Tammy_26Irwin Defense called the final rebuttal witness to try to show that Chad was not present to participate in the brutal murder. But the testimony only served to vividly remind the jurors of the brutal murder that Chad conspired to commit which is what he is charged with.
To clarify, I meant this was a bad move for the defense to remind the jury how gruesome Tylee's murder was.

When your dad tells you that you are righteous and will rule the world, you are less willing to see otherwise
Absolutely
I keep asking myself what the jurors are thinking and I wish I could see their reactions.
Melanie G Zulema, Lori’s niece need to be punished also. Everybody knows they were fully involved; wouldn’t that be awful to live your life like that. Plea or no Plea! We know, ladies!‼️
Thank you both. Have a great weekend. Congratulations to your son on his graduation.
Extremely odd and I think he was reaching. Totally ridiculous!
Yes.
Thanks
Thank you!
Doctor John saying "You're always an outlire." Not to take away from the case, but it's lovely how much you two love and respect one another. It's needed after the horror of the facts.
The only person that hated Tylee to kill her in such an HORRIFIC way was none other than chad daybell.
And SO creepy and sad 😢

I'll throw this out as a possibility, maybe to make myself feel better. I once witnessed a pet cremation. At some point late in the process, a tool was used to break up the bones. If Chad ever watched a cremation during his years working at the cemetery, perhaps he saw this happen too. Maybe the tool injuries to Tylee's pelvic area were an attempt to break up the larger bones of her sacroiliac (pelvis) during the attempt to burn her remains. Just a thought.
Very good point. It is definitely important to know that funerals were his work at one time!
My thoughts as well.
That's what i thought too. The injuries might b post-mortum.

Poor Emma cannot process reality because from the time she was 'Daddy's little girl', she's been CULTivated by her father.
I don’t feel sorry for her one bit. She is a mother but has no feelings for the two dead children in their back yard. She is as evil as her monster of a father. I would not have her anywhere near my children.
Thank you so much for covering these issues!!! Some jaw-dropping commentary from Dr. John, that really seem to fit.

Thank you both for giving so much of yourselves. 💕💕
Garth does know some truth regarding his mothers murder. Thats Why he was So Quiet, disturbed, and distant when the authorities were there. He was terrified he would say the wrong thing, and in shock that his father murdered his Mom 💔
The thought of Emma not wanting to hear the autopsy report of her own Mother is not only strange but horrifying.
I simply can’t comprehend.
Why would they burn her body somewhere else then bring the ashes and remains back to the Daybell yard?🙄🤷♀️
Because the firepit was already in use for burning limbs
@@sherigrow6480Thank you 👍🏼😊
Imo that was a John Pryor notion to throw the jurors off. He's full of huey.
Impressive!
Sooo love and appreciate Lauren's lunch lives.
Love the passion and being there with us.
Hopefully the prosecution will highlight these points during closing!
It is amazing how important small details are, which one wouldn't think of.
Looks like the state weren't able to prove where Chad actually was. We may never know.
Possibly he had all of his burner phones turned off. But, he was dumb enough to link his burner phones to his Gmail account.
Lauren and Dr John! You have been amazing. Thank you!
