Today I was looking through old photographs and I found a photo of our old kitty Scampi. I was telling someone about being on Peoples Court and "A Taste of Scampi". Then when I googled it .... SUPRISE .... up popped this video! I certainly hope Todd Oyler went on to bigger & brighter things in his life. I hope his dog Samantha lived a long happy life. Scampi died of natural causes years after this incident. The editing of this video is so funny. Thanks for sharing. ***Valerie***

The guy Todd Oiler, or Snake Oiler as Adam and his friends call him, is in a lot of Adam's high school/apartment day's stories. Cool to finally see him.
Often used commercial bumpers: Doug Llewellyn: So what's your verdict? Would you file for the plaintiff? Or the defendant? We'll be back with the judge's final verdict in a moment/minute/after these messages. Jack Harrell: We'll return to "The Case of (insert witty title)" after these messages..
This video was edited and reposted for entertainment purposes only however please keep in mind that dogs must be kept on a leash I saw an episode of TPC where a lady thought that she could use an electronic leash only to find out it doesn't work that way.
Do you have the closing credits to Season 1 of the Wapner version of The People's Court during the 1981-1982 season? "The Big One" by Alan Tew was lower pitched, and the closing credits roll over a shot of the empty set as the camera rotates, such as the text "Facilities by GOLDEN WEST BROADCASTERS Distributed by TELEPICTURES CORP."; At the end, we see the text reading onscreen: "THE PEOPLE'S COURT Ralph Edwards Productions in association with Stu Billett Productions (c) 1981 Ralph Edwards Productions". And then, the text "Portions of the program have been edited." appear, followed by the 1980 Telepictures Corporation "Rollercoaster" logo.👍
4:13. “‘The People’s Court’ is produced by Ralph Edwards Productions, in association with Stu Billett Productions, and is distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures”
I'd love to hear Judge Milian rip into this defendant about controlling his pit bull...she'd not only see it the same way as Judge Wapner...she probably could have kicked the defendant out for his smart-aleck remark!!!
Judge Wapner's still alive! He just turned 90 in November last year. And two he also was the guest judge earlier this season if you look at the recent videos of his guest appearance on TPC. Next time, do your research before you make a false death claim.
It’s too bad this original theme of The People’s Court was only used from 1981-1993 and then when it was brought back again in 1997-present the theme was totally different.
Curt started when the current version premiered in 1997. He did 19 years as both announcer and interviewer. This is the fifth season where Doug has been back.
only vids i dislike are when they dont let you comment.... and eventually those jerks reject you the ability to like/dislike... THANKS for letting me comment!!!!!!
Wow, this is so civilized. I was waiting for the judge to start ranting and raving and yelling about big girl panties and does it say stupid on my forehead? and an old Spanish proverb thrown in for good measure. The facts are stated and boom it's over in 4 minutes and I haven't even torn the top off my m&ms bag yet.
The uploader of this video edited it down to 4 minutes. The People's Court usually had two cases per episode, so they were around 15 minutes each (including commercials). Some episodes had one 30-minute case.
+insidewrestlingtruth Your opinion is based on emotion rather than facts and logic. Between the years 2005 and 2011 pit bulls were responsible for the death of 128 people (Mostly small children) while the next most vicious breed, mastiffs, were responsible for the deaths of 29 people. The pit bull was breed for the purpose of killing other dogs in a dog fight. Just s surely as a sheep dog is genetically predisposed to herd sheep a pit bull is genetically predisposed to kill other dogs (and small creatures). While some pit bulls are reared in an environment which discourages this killing behavior it remains that many pit bulls and the pups they produce are killers by nature. Those who own these killers attempt (vainly) to augment their failing masculinity by owning a killer dog. Your inability or unwillingness the realize this indicates your stupidity even more than does your spelling and punctuation.
Ok rain Man. Da da dahn dahn, da da dahn dahn. Dahn!! Gavel: bang!! Bailiff: all rise!! Peoples court case number 7002 Johnson versus Freeman for $5000. Judge Wapner: you may be seated. You all have been sworn, I read your complaint. Back in the 1980s the judge Wapner peoples court have a ticket plug? Do you know when they say for free tickets to the People’s Court call this number.

Glad your cat had a long life. I would have been ticked too if that happened to my cats.
Thanks for your update! Glad that you were able to find your video.
Did you even have to say anything? Lol Nice job taking this total goober to court. I bet he's become a cat lover and lives alone with like 30 cats. 🤣
@valerie saenz ANYONE that would wish that DOLT Todd a good life must be STUPID as hell themself. He's a moron.
The fact that Doug still looks the same almost 35 years later is borderline scary 😂
With a better toupee
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
NOT!
Plastic surgery
We Need More Judge Wapner Cases!

In what year did The People’s Court started using the Warner Bros. Television Closed Captioning?
“What you are witnessing is real. The participants are not actors. They are actual litigants with a case pending in a California municipal court. Both parties have agreed to dismiss their court cases and their disputes settled here, in our forum: THE PEOPLE’S COURT.”
Sounds like you got it down.
People who walk their dogs without a leash are arrogant and need to stop it. A child can be bit or worst.
Did that guy just sass Judge Wapner?!!!
Wow thanks for this! Brings me back to watching&laughing after school with my friends. Who needed soap operas!?
So weird to hear “yes sir”, “no sir” when I’m of the generation who may only know of this show being presided over by a woman judge.
Fred Silverman did.
“If you’re involved at a dispute with another party such as this, and you just can’t seem to work it out. Don’t resort into taking the law into your own hands. YOU TAKE EM TO COURT!”
Doug Llewelyn
Before their was judge Judy. Their was judge Warner. I remember him well. He was a cool judge.
Q: What animal has four legs and one arm? A: A happy Pitbull.
" golly that must be an awful nice pitbull oh boy" I can't believe we spoke thst way.
The guy Todd Oiler, or Snake Oiler as Adam and his friends call him, is in a lot of Adam's high school/apartment day's stories. Cool to finally see him.
Defendant looks sort of like Adam Sandler.
I thought Pee Wee Herman.
Both * Adam Sandler & PeeWee Herman's love child
If I ever catch a dog attacking my cat , were having authentic Chinese for dinner.
"A taste of Scampy" lol
All I can think of is Jon Lovitz as the Devil in SNL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Brought back memories. The case of "something to make people laugh" after this

Feels like I'm watching a youtube poop lol.
Not sure why someone felt the need to add ridiculous edits to this vintage video, but whoever did it, @2:37 . 🙄

As an old soul person I'm cracking up 🤣😂😂🤣
Are you able to get specific episodes from 1986 or so?
Crazy to watch these now. Love it!!
4:13. “‘The People’s Court’ is produced by Ralph Edwards Productions, in association with Stu Billett Productions, and is distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures”
169.50 is not enough
This was 20+ years ago it equatesto nearly $500 today
Does any have those old Peoples Court adverts.
Rusty, let me see the document
"Gotta watch Wapner..Leave the table, yeah leave the table."
I'd love to hear Judge Milian rip into this defendant about controlling his pit bull...she'd not only see it the same way as Judge Wapner...she probably could have kicked the defendant out for his smart-aleck remark!!!
Along with controlling her cat Judge Judy would have dismissed the plantiff case
Yeah, but Judge Judy Sheindlin would really let the defendant have it.
@@dramanot what about judge Jerry sheindlin?
love to judge wapner and rusty and i am so glad they had judge marilyn millan to re do it love it ty
Just heard that Judge Wapner has died. He truly was an American hero!
GOD BLESS! RIP!
He died today, Sunday, February 26, 2017, at age 97.
I was also wondering, if a blind person is filling up their car, how would they know when to stop right on the $30.00 mark without going over?
Doug doesn't age!!
The frame control of Wapner and Llewelyn is great!
Sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff 🐈🐈
2:39, Judge Wapner's Verdict, with a Tiny Gavel
I like how this video is categorized under "comedy".
Loved this show as a kid.
I used to raise my right hand with Rusty
Nice Max Headroom editing!
Ah, a pit bull. No surprise.

Dammit... just saw this comment and thought " no shit? Good for him!"
Then say you wrote it 13 years ago... then saw the next comment.
I haven't seen any of these old episodes. I really prefer the announcer better than the current one.
I always liked the original theme music to The People's Court of back then versus now.
It’s too bad this original theme of The People’s Court was only used from 1981-1993 and then when it was brought back again in 1997-present the theme was totally different.
Lol Don't take matters to your own hands. Take them to court. I am Doug 😅
I forgot rusty was a bailiff for oj simpson trial
contrast in the defendants' hairstyles...the one has a very 1987 mullet and the other has a 2010 style...
That’s a remix when he says sir
How much you got pay on this court
check out all the judge wapner groupies sitting in the back loll I used to watch this in the 80s, reality tv back then
This is obviously from the original.
Mandate to Get It ON!
"Awful nice pit bull to be off a leash" = "Bonds was awfully good for not being on steroids."
HAHAHAHA..thank you for this !!!!!
Anyone here after Billionaire Boys Club
I wonder who the original answer on PC was, it wasn't Curt Chapman, was it?
Nope, it was Jack Harrell.
Curt started when the current version premiered in 1997. He did 19 years as both announcer and interviewer. This is the fifth season where Doug has been back.
I remember wally george was on peoples court episode
only vids i dislike are when they dont let you comment.... and eventually those jerks reject you the ability to like/dislike... THANKS for letting me comment!!!!!!
There are such things as cat leashes and harnesses.
"Cats are kinda worthless."

The facts are stated and boom it's over in 4 minutes and I haven't even torn the top off my m&ms bag yet.
Well, since there weren't as many channels back then, there wasn't as much competition, so therefore, no need to really be sensationalistic.
The uploader of this video edited it down to 4 minutes. The People's Court usually had two cases per episode, so they were around 15 minutes each (including commercials). Some episodes had one 30-minute case.
This was on young Sheldon
The Defendants are Adam Carolla's friends Snake (Todd) and Gilgabber
quincyjones
Oh Lord…that’s why leash laws exist. How stupid can he be?
@gi1bert0 cats are cool, they are usually more afraid of you than u of them. so no leash needed!
Young Sheldon.
Just play the episode and skip making the people repeat themselves.
Is Scampy doing ok today?
What a hairstyle
If he has, they've done a damn good job of keeping it quiet. Or, are you just another TH-cam troll?
jogger chocking on crow
Final question I've always wanted to know.
Do blind people listen to porn?
Lol
Announcer Before: this video.. Announcer After with Judge Milan: Season with Judge Milan
Announcer and interviewer were the same person for nineteen years.
Valerie looks like she just needs a long, lean bone job.
what the hell are you talking about?
"Your."
2:12 wtf lol
This has got to be the worst quality video of anything I have ever seen.
I just wanted to watch it straight through. All those repetitions were annoying
