If I remember correctly from watching other court cases that involve bed bugs, they’re pretty translucent until they feast and in their early stages they are hardly noticeable. So it would make sense that she wouldn’t notice at first until they get their fill. However, I would try investigating a little more if I was continuously getting bit
@@StevenDoh I would throw that stuff in the trash. If she has 300 to hire exterminators, she has money to buy new sheets. Why wash bed bugs in a public washer/dryer and possibly spread it to other people's laundry as opposed to tossing it. It's inconsiderate.
But you leave bugs in the machine. And other people use that machine. That’s is inconsiderate . Do you want to take someone’s bugs (dead or alive) home with you?

Yup, Judge Milian definitely skedaddled out of there. Maybe Doug's comment "I was feeling a little naked out here" while she was still suiting him up made her nervous 😅
Notice how scummy the property owner/management is. Out in the hallway one of them makes the comment that the other shouldn’t have made the deal, and maybe the tenants would just forget about it, so he charged them anyways. 🤡
Yes, the owner was hoping the girls would leave the air conditioner they bought and forget about the deal to fix the door the roommate broke in exchange for leaving the a/c unit.
I believe there were bed bugs and other tenants were complaining about them. I am surprised the owner didn't leave the manager at home. I am sure if he had known the air conditioner was going to be brought up he would have left him behind, he didn't want his manager answering any questions. I would say the manager is an honest guy working for a penny pinching slime ball.
This case annoyed me. I was 17yrs old and had just bought a new bedroom set. A couple of weeks later, I had what looked like a rash on my arms. I visited the doctor twice and was prescribed creams for the itching, but they couldn't figure out what it was. By about the third month, one night I saw one tiny little bug crawling up the headboard and when I killed it I saw blood. I freaked out and pulled up my mattress, but I didn't see much until I pulled my headboard forward. There were hundreds, along with eggs🤮For someone who's never dealt with bedbugs before, it's easy to not figure out the problem right away. So JM comments about not believing she could have lived with the problem for months without realizing it was bedbugs is just silly. Getting rid of bedbugs is extremely difficult, and it's hard to believe the plaintiff's roommate didn't encounter a problem.
That’s the proof that the roommate didn’t have the problem. The roommate didn’t get the exterminator in nor mention it to the landlord when he asked her. She would’ve looked and would have mentioned something like that so the issue if it did exist was extremely contained. Also, honestly that isn’t even applicable because you have to prove unlivable circumstances to win this type of case. She fixed the issue and also thought it was as such that she found new roommates and told them it was fixed. How can it be unlivable for you but you deem it livable for others?
