What a pleasure and honor that must have been! I like how you simplified something I've been struggling with - letting the ball come into your swing path while moving your body weight into the ball. Great stuff!
Simon, your groundstrokes are very dependable and steady, even when Jannik increased the pace of his strokes you were still able to rally deep with him. Good job.
Simon, it's mind blowing to hear you describe yourself as "sub par". I get what you mean, but gee, thats pretty tough on yourself. If anything, I hope Jannik can help show a few areas to gain some improvement. If that's the case, great! Keep up the good work, we're loving seeing your journey.
Loved the session (and the one from a while ago).Great to hear that you're getting better Simon. Looking forward to seeing your improvements regarding moving into the ball better. Jannik has insane racquet head speed for how far his elbow is during his forehand progression. Great to see that you're comfortable rallying with him, that's no joke man. Cheers and looking forward to more! M
Who's the 1-hander hitting beside you guys? At first I thought it was Khachanov, but then I saw him hit a 1-hand BH drive (granted, his FH doesn't entirely mimic Khachanov's either). Really nice BH slice he has. As one would expect at that level, of course. I'm a 1-hander and I'm generally familiar with most of the 1Hers on tour, so I figured he must be working his way up the rankings and wondered who it was.
great opportunity Simon
Winston, let's get Simon down to Cali!
I just love Sinner's technique.. his strokes are so clean!!

Jannik is quite skinny compared to other players but i would say he is one of the hardest hitting players ive seen
Technique is everything.
This video is 2 years old, it's not like he's The Rock now, but he did put some muscles up.
Roger was super skinny as well
Long levers
Size doesnt matter
You're so good at explaining what's going on and what differs in technique between players and stuff like that. Just awesome content!
Really appreciate your composed commenting style and very lucid dissection of the technical details Simon👍
Thank you very much for your kind words and support!! Means a lot 🙏
I love the commentary, always nice to hear your thoughts on the court.
Man that looks like a ton of fun. Jannik seems to be an easy going guy. Good luck this season!

My two favorite players too watch❤
Thanks Simon!
Really cool video, thanks Simon! Look forward to seeing you play at some stage if you’re doing tournaments in the UK next season!
How did you guys all end up getting matched up? Do you set it up yourselves? Do you just happen to be scheduled at the same time?
I know in person andrea vavassori, great dobles player with great personality
I know I just followed you a bit, but it might be helpful if at the beginning you have a pointer on who is who 😁
That's a good idea! Thanks
Don't ever call yourself sub par Simon. You are amazing!!!
Really interesting analysis!

Crazy opportunity to play with Sinner!!
that's super old video Simon xD early 2022?
Almost, late 2021
Next time, get me an autograph!!🤪
Did his coach whisper a few comments to you regarding your game or anything too? Smt they might have seen Simon
I can tell this video is from late 2021, Sinner's fh looks a bit different now
Great eye!
what changed? @@Simon.Freund
Cool !
Want to see the doubles match vs vavassori
seeing you hit with my favorite player is weird but dope
Sinner is a good example that great groundstrokes is not enough, there needs to be variation and adapted strategies
1:34 in sync
Tip: change the title to “with Jannik Sinner” it’ll get way more views since no one searches atp 7
Great tip man thanks!
Why is this video recorded in Stockholm when there's still 3 weeks before the Stockholm open? I'm confused :D
Previous years 😅
You're not sub-par my friend, keep working hard! I know it's not easy.
he literally is the definition of subpar
How did it compare to the first time you played with him? Feel he’s improved?
Hey Simon, did you ask him how to have a backhand like him? If so… please share I’m pretty everyone here wants to learn
Loose wrists, strong legs and impeccable timing! Then we good to go 👊
Again?! CRAZY 🎉
how did u get him there
isn't this tournament into a few weeks?
Yes! Footage from last year!
this video seems older since he does not use a platform stance anymore. I'm assuming sometime last year?
2021 😅
Chuuu a ton has changed for both dudes lol
How old is this video??
Like 2 years
Does your youtube channel help you secure these opportunities? Maybe should start a youtube channel myself 🤔
youre definitely not sub-par💪🏽
Aren't you also USTA 7.0?
Not sure about that rating but I believe so!
