Puppies are excited to run up the stairs and jump in the tub. They get so happy about bath time I let them run up and jump in this once. Again, I let them run up this ONCE. I know some of you have shown concern for the pups back health, i appreciate all the concern. I love my pups and yes I indeed carry them up the stairs when it's time for a bath. They are mostly only upstairs for baths.
For those still concerned for my dogs' back health, it's been 6 years since I've lived in a 2 story home. 8 years later and their back health is perfectly fine. They are spoiled happy pups ❤️.
Also, they still love baths and swimming.
Mine is 12. 12 years of trying and failing to keep her from climbing and jumping off the couch and bed. No issues.

Never have I seen any dog go nuts for their bath. You opened the gate and they went crazy to get to their bath. Incredible

like she doesn't know about their backs people! We have a doxie, it's not the jumping UP that can damage the spine (it stretches it) it's the jumping DOWN that can cause the damage!
Yep, that jumping down action can hurt various breeds. It did damage to my mom's dog....I wasn't aware of it until her dog was about 6 years old when I noticed mom had no step stool next to her bed (dog slept in bed with mom). I then suggested mom get a stool placed next to bed (she did so 1 month later). Nevertheless, the dog did suffer painful back problems 2 times during the last year of her life (died at age 12).
I feel that way when it's my bath time. Except I also bring a glass of good wine and a good book. ADORABLE PUPPIES!
This is so cute!! I had two pups that would jump in, but I had to tell them "in" and they would look at me then jump. Miss them both everyday.

They both wanted the bath. The first "guy" had power and skill enough to manage on his (hers?) own.
Back here, Sweden, the nickname for those dogs is "Floor racer".....
Some other dogs makes wrestling necessary, a grip around the neck and down in the water....

This is really cute but hopefully you got them little ramps by now. They shouldn't be jumping up and down off stuff cuz they're prone to hurt their backs. They look really young here so hopefully they're fine but definitely get the ramps to be safe. I try not to let my little guy even run up and down the stairs that much anymore
Thanks for your concern. They are fine if you read the description, this wasn't a typical thing. Also, it's been years since I've lived in a 2 story home. It's been many years and no back issues

No worries. This was 6 years ago and they are still super healthy and running around. No mobility issues
