I was told that weight distribution hitch is still needed to level out and distribute the weight. If you are only using airbags it places excessive load on the rear axle of the tow vehicle, it also takes weight off the front tyres leaving you vulnerable to loss of traction and control in the front end.
I have an old 2014 Toyota Tacoma second GEN and I was looking to get some airbags put in my truck but now it’s giving me more confidence probably end up doing it myself because our camper is extremely heavy at squats hard-core plus you know here in the United States Toyota All their new shit is fucking trash so I just wanna keep having my truck running and still tow my camper & my jet boat. What do you like the idea of having an inboard in controller in the inside?
Hi Justin - Congrats to you and your family and all the effort you guys make for us. I also own a BT50 here in Australia and am Just wondering if you still use airbag man or would recommend something else now. Also did you ever get the onboard controls and if so are they worth the extra $.
Scott yeah mate, we got airbags in the new car as well. Onboard air control is super easy to install and makes airing up and down of your bags easy as!
Did you do the one wirh remote ? Love to see , this guy is a genius or im confused i know it cant be this easy 😅??!! Nothing is ever that simple , especiallh other videos beinf hours , is this because of fhe air bag set and struck and i simply just place this on a old school , snap on like you did ??? Like that , ??!! Need the remote can i add later like you are,

When u did the measurements from centre of wheel to wheel arch , do I do sane to top of tray or lowest part of tray above rear wheel?
It shouldn’t matter as long as you can have the same mark either side
