One small point of correction; Chase misspoke that the rear rack was aluminum but it is in fact steel. That aside, it's the most sturdy rack I know of for the TW and fits really well. I'd also like to point out that the Tusk Traverse Panniers are a perfect fit. Can't recommend this setup enough. Thanks for all the TW support, RMATV.
Sweet!! I think i want to get one of those tank bags! Im stoked to see you guys having more and more parts for the Tdub! 👍Me, my wife, and my kids have TW's. I need a few more of them.
I had a 2006 up until a couple of years to go. Folding shifter lever and pegs are a must for hunting in the tight trails. Also, you can buy a big back sprocket to gear that thing down to walking pace in 2nd gear. I miss that bike and am looking to buy another. I just wish they would go to a fuel injection model.
I did NOT know there was a longer shift lever for "bigfoot"!!! Just ordered it from you, and maybe I'll be able to get my size 13 Dakars under the lever now. These little bikes are absolutely killer fun!!!!
Great video and what a great bike! It was really high on my list when I was downsizing, but I ultimately went for XT250 + Suzuki VanVan combo. XT250 is just extremely capable. And VanVan is kind of in the same group as TW200 for me, just VanVan is better looking (to my eye) and it has injection. But I may still add a TW200 later on - it's just too good. And that windshield makes it look way better.
I’d try it on a TW, though buffeting can be tricky to solve so many variables. I’ve even drill holes on the backside of windscreens to reduce back pressure@@rmatvmc
Unfortunately, the windscreen is currently out of stock but will be back on the website when we have more. The first link in the description will take you to all the parts we added to this bike.
@@snowfreak207 I hear they work for people without moving. Hypothetically they could tho but only an inch or 3 depending on the length you purchase. I can only speculate.
Unfortunately there are not many easy options to lower the TW. The easiest would be to shave the seat height down and lower the forks in the clamps/adjust sag in the rear shock. Other than that, you're probably looking at a custom shock which some people have done. There are some really good forums talking about this topic that would be worth checking out.
Unfortunately they are currently out of stock. But the first link in the video description will show all the parts including the windscreen when it is back in to stock.
i went a couple teeth larger on the rear sprocket beacuse i like getting on the highway and not pushing the engine too hard. this bike can cruise at 60+ if you gear it right and have the ability to ride out
Aluminum handlebars are heat tempered, engineer designed to have the same strength, and still have more flexibility than steel. Making them more forgiving for impacts.
@rmatvmc what foot pegs did he install? Your website does not have the TW200 as an option. Someone asked in the questions, and the reply is you don't have one. Please clarify. 😁

@@rmatvmc I believe the 52 tooth sprocket was the one I went with, but it won't go faster than 40mph. I used my bike mainly for hunting and trails though.
You guys did an awesome job here but just have to ask why you didn't do the tire(s) scenario and is it completely crazy to think that no one can invent a derailleur for a motorcycle motorcycle so you can have two sprockets?? You really don't need the windscreen because you won't be cruising at 55 mph or faster for long distances on the T-Dub, because it's the wrong bike for cruising and it doesn't go fast enough to require a windscreen. Ditto for the heated grips.
@@philipmarr7325 Been out in the cold of Minnesota, so I understand, especially if you don't have well insulated gloves. I usually only need heated grips if cruising at 65 mph on highway on the BMW.

The T-dub is an awesome bike, but it is not fast enough to need a windscreen.
60-70 mph is plenty fast enough for us to use a windscreen, especially in the mountains with high winds. But to each their own!
Do the footprgs happen to fit the XT225 as well? I know there are a lot of parts that work on both bikes, not sure about foot pegs, though.
These footpegs would not be a direct fit for the XT225.
