  • In this video, I share our daily rhythm through a day in the life! I am a Charlotte Mason and Montessori inspired homeschooler - so you will see us doing Charlotte Mason subjects and using Montessori materials, though I am not a purist in any way. This was a day in January 2022 while my children were 9, 6, 2, and 8 months.

    Hi! I'm Julia. I am a homeschooling Mom to my four fun little people. Our homeschool has elements of Montessori and Charlotte Mason, with a little Waldorf thrown in. We lie in Vermont where we have a large kitchen garden and home orchard and are trying to live more seasonally and sustainably. My main goal is to raise good humans. Come join us on our journey!

    This is cool to see with multiple ages so close together. I am not prepared to be ad structured but i think this is more relaxed than the way children are taught otherwise and you're children seem engaged and ready to participate and learn which is the main thing that they enjoy learning also with real materials and real tasks not just busy work or something that they don't engage in.

    Thank you for sharing the Day in the Life Video, Julie!!! They are my favorite!!! 💕You are doing such a great job with homeschooling and being a mama!! I like how you include your little ones into your homeschool. Not a lot of homeschoolers use Montessori approach, so I appreciate your videos, they are so inspiring!!! We are in love with Montessori too! Keep enjoying your homeschooling journey! 🌟🌷

    Thank you this is so helpful. I've been debating homeschooling my little one and seeing how it actually goes during the day for people is nice.

    Your toddler is so adorable! Thank you so much for sharing that sweet moment with her. I've been wanting to start working one on one with my 3yo but it always seems to be put aside. Definitely gonna work with her this summer. Thanks😊

      You are so welcome! It can be hard to prioritize with the older kids and everything, but it is super fun. :)

      I am so glad you find the videos are helpful! I made the clalendar using a corkboard based on one I saw on the blog Counting Coconut many years ago. The blog is no longer updated regularly, but her posts are still available. countingcoconuts.blogspot.com/ I hope that helps!

    Where did you get the old western background music ? I need it as the soundtrack to my life .

    • @juliaathome
      @juliaathome  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      😆. I do love the music! I get my background music from epidemic sound - that way I don't have to worry about copyright claims. The particular songs and artists are always listed in the description box.

      I've tried a couple different things depending on age. I am working on organizing my thoughts and resources around it to make a video.
