Could y’all do a video on parenting/discipline? What you do and what kind of obstacles you’ve run into and how you overcome them? Could you also do a video on how you adapt or keep your schedules when adding a newborn to the mix? If you already have content on these topics can you point me to them? I’m so glad I found your channel recently, y’all have been a blessing ❤️
Yes! Love how your focus is on spending time outdoors. Joshua White’s video “putting your child on God’s schedule” has fascinating research on this topic! What a blessing it is to have the opportunity to homeschool our littles 🤍
I would LOVE to see a full day in the life. 1000 hours outside plus a pretty intensive Charlotte Mason curriculum plus an organized home plus consistent nap time… lol I only ever seem to manage 3 of the 4!! to see it played out would be so helpful
Love this! We love starting with outside time in the morning and then doing math time as well. My middle son saw a glimpse of the Saxon workbook and said “Mom! That’s my fact sheet!” 😁
We love the Critical Thinking Co. Mind Benders & Balance Benders! Logic is something my husband really had a hand in and is the one who first initiated it in conversation with me when discussing what to include in our homeschool. I’m so glad he did! I’m on the lookout for good riddle/‘who dun it’ type books now.
Katy, you're very inspiring. I'm also pregnant with my 5th baby, and still struggling with morning sickness and other pregnancy ails. How does your day look when Mum isn't feeling great?
Are you able to talk about how/if you balance time at home with outings and homeschool meetups? I’m a mama of 3, my eldest is 5, and while we nail full days at home, my kids and I benefit greatly from gatherings with like-minded homeschoolers. But school never gets done on these days 😬 would love to hear if and how you balance “home” time with “out” times
I am binge watching your videos here. Thanks for all this great information. I just had to comment because I looooove your bangs! Seriously I so want bangs but my face really doesn’t compliment it. But you should bring back your bangs I love them so much on you. So so cute! Anyway, God bless you all. Such a precious family you have. ❤️
This is so helpful- especially how you intentionally ensure you have regular outdoor time even in cold weather. I am also thrilled to know I am not the only one who sits in the stroller to read while the kids are playing on the playground 😂 Congratulations on your 5th baby! you have a beautiful family!
Montessori Math Materials are a great addition to any homeschooling curriculum. It takes abstract ideas and make them concrete. Many online resources to teach you how to use them :)
What’s the activity you mentioned around min 14:30-15:00 that your kids like to do after school time? You picture something with spirals and numbers… I’m googling “Miniluke” and I’m not finding anything! Starting to structure purposeful learning time with my 5 year old. Thank you!
I love putting a hierarchy together for your kids learning. How do you read at the park without keeping your eyes on your kids at a public playground? Genuinely curious for myself. 😊
How do you read with your two year old on the playground? I feel like mine are always lingering near really tall drops or climbing up things where they could take a 6 foot plus fall.
I really love y’all so much and am so encouraged by your videos! I always learn something new! My son is 18 months and we’re a couple months pregnant with our second! They’re a little young for a lot of this but it makes me so excited for as they grow! We get outside a lot and read a lot but we’re not ready for your pictures book recommendations yet.
Thank you for this video - one question. If y'all are doing stories at meal times, how do you eat? I struggle with this and didn't know if you had some suggestions
So so refreshing to see the Word put first! We read a Bible story and do a memory verse at breakfast, and it's so good for all of us! One question I had is where do you fit in grocery shopping, doctor appts, etc? That's been our schedule-buster lately now that we have a newborn.
You are such an inspiration thank you so much for giving me hope that I can be as good as you are teaching your kids homeschool while doing everything els under the sun lol
The snow suits are linked in this first video. Both videos have great info about being outside during the winter. Could you please share the memory songs you use, more info for the Abeka picture cards you like in case we can find them used? Lastly, could you please share the link for the critical thinking co books? Thank you so much for this video.
Did you both to college? Would love to hear your perspective on getting a college education. I am 20 and I definitely feel the pressure from the world friends and family to go to college but I’m not sure it’s the route I want to go. I have always wanted to start my own business and be a mom. But sometimes I feel like I’m missing out and would benefit from college. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks 😄
We love Smart Games for logic. They are 1 player games, the kids get them for their birthdays and we are building quite a collection. What was the name of the logic game your child was using? I tried doing a search online but couldn't find it.

We focus on a lot of outdoor time as well. I love seeing how happy, rested, and peaceful our littles are when making that a priority! ❤
I call this “Intentional parenting” ❤
You guys are such an inspiring family. I always get great ideas from your videos. Thank you!!
Awe congrats on your fifth baby! 💕
Great video! Wondering what cleaning the house doing chores looks like while all this is going on.

We’ll never know 😂
You provided truly helpful insights on the differences and benefits of the CMEC while also respecting the CMEC privacy agreement. Thank you!

Loved this video! Thank you so much for sharing with us how you do it. Would love to see a day in the life video and when you clean and cook etc...
Love it! And I love the artwork in your dining area!
Abeka math for kindergarten through 3rd grade is great colorful and spiral approach so it reviews concepts and mixes it up
I would love to find the Abeka books you use the older ones with the big pictures I can not seem to find them.
Thank you so much for sharing this info! I've just started homeschooling my preschooler and am learning so much from you. You are appreciated!

We are reading Nate Saint right now 💗
I love incorporating literature into our day too
Just bought your program, excited to get going!! 🎉
Thank you for another amazing video. When do you find time to do household chores?
Yes same question!
What is the little logic game called? It looks brilliant but I couldn't tell what you called it.. A mini luke?
Same! Id like a link to the velcro and other game!!
She said the name would be in the homeschooling course but I couldn’t find it 😕
I found something similar called Veritech Tiles
Hey! Are you using any books at all for english?
Please speak about discipline, yea or nay on corporal punishment and if yes, when to start?*
Wonderful video, thank you for sharing! I had a good giggle at the gentleman story because that’s literally my husband and my oldest 🤣

Thanks so much for the video. It was so helpful. I was wondering what age do you start teaching your kids music?
Great video! How do you manage play dates or time with other kids/families in your routine?
They don’t need other families
I love the breakfast table idea!
Two things I need to know! - Lucy's dress and the kids' snow suits! :D

Where do I buy a Mini Luke?? I can't find it! Am I spelling it right? Can someone chime in? Thanks!
What is the second logic thing you mentioned? A mini look?
It’s a miniLUK. I found it on Amazon after lots of sleuthing. 😅
@@sarabethrickman9050 thank you!!
what are the materials for logic work?
Are you buying all these books? Do you have a system of getting good literature for your kids for a good price?
Online book stores like thriftbooks, abebooks, etc often have really good deals! I buy most of our books that way.
Love it
Whats the cleaning acronym again? And what it stands for?
SCAMP. Speedy clean after meal party.
Love the booger story! 🤣 😅
❤
You don’t have tv at your home? For them that’s the biggest distraction
