By switching between manual focus and autofocus using one of the buttons on the camera body (if programmed), you eliminate the possibility of inaccurate manual focus and the need to move the switch on the lens (autofocus accuracy will never be surpassed by manual focus).

I hear you. This has only been the case for me and certain situations. I do have my AF switch on the back of my camera program to go between af/mf but really only use that in situations where I have the time, such as a landscape. Also, I just use it to make sure that what I truly want out of a stationary scene is truly in focus. Of course, there's focus peaking and other things of that sort, too, that help with that.

How do you get your lens to show the mm or focus distance on the screen ? 😮

Unfortunately, it only seems possible with a lens that has power zoom functionality.

I'd say it's one option you could go with. 16mm most of the time should be enough. Couple the setup you mentioned with a Gimbal that allows for BT control that can be used with the power zoom function, and you are good to go.

@@WIHRC I was thinking of getting the DJI RS3 for the gimbal, what do you think?

Haven't had any experience with that level of gimbal. I'm looking at the RS4 but not anytime soon. I'd say buy and try it out as much as possible within the return policy.

@@michaelviera4999 Hi im late but i have the exact setup but with a sony a7 iv. they work really good in real estate but consider getting a secondary lens (maybe a 35mm f/1.4) if you have to make a showcase with a subject talking to the camera. the dji is really good and with stabilization in post it makes wonders
