You only get stars from the morality cards if you do the evil thing which means that thematically you live in a utopia that you want to build into a dystopia (or at least make the current dystopia worse) hence the game name. If you roll too high (due to intelligence) you lose workers because they see through your scheme. Theme is important to me and I love the sound of this.

My "what i like most" about this game may seem like aback handed compliment, but it really isn't. I legitimately love those resource trackers and am boggled as to why no one else does them.

I wish there were more like that too. Its something civ and the later final fantasy games did very well on the virtual board...

For someone a bit... ADHD like me (I was diagnosed!) would you suggest this or viticulture?

Hard call, as i'm not familiar with what limitations/advantages that brings. In general, attention disorders would be suited to shorter games. So probs this.

Honestly though Nic. Knowing you, you'd probably have way more fun with real time, social deduction or Story games. Check out codenames, space alert, xcom, once upon a time, coup and Mysterium.

Difficulties and benefits related to neurodevelopmental variations like ADHD can vary a lot from person to person, so there is no clear answer here. From my limited experience though, Euphoria has less downtime between turns, and turn order is always clockwise. Viticulture might require having more things in your head at the same time, which might be hard for some.
I agree that games with a social aspect might be beneficial for some. I’d say Rising Sun is a good fit - has a diplomatic social aspect and turns are simple and straight forward, and since your opponents turns are interesting and relevant, you always have stuff to help you keep your attention to the game.

In general, games with less downtime and less things to keep track of in your head without the aid of visual representation might be preferable. Social aspects can also help.
Most of the time you get far by trying harder to focus during the rules explaination, as lengthy and/or complex rules explainations can be challenging. Once you’re past that, the rest of the game is usually pretty problem free. Either way, it mostly comes down to getting to know yourself and learning strategies for keeping your focus. This is the most important aspect BY FAR; you’re defined by yourself, never by your diagnosis. Practice makes perfect, just try not to bite off more than you can chew! :)
I’m sure these are things you’re well aware of, but these things might still be of interest and/or help to some!
