    Thanks so much for these great videos, man. Also looking at moving back stateside after 18 yrs, and NM is at the top of my list. Lived in ABQ while going to school at UNM, and really fell in love with the state. Although I'm from the PNW and wouldn't mind moving back there, my wife could never deal with the weather up there. When I make it to town to do some recon, hopefully we can get in touch. Saludos from Santa Cruz, Bolivia!

    I see some acting qualities Skip, which is interesting because my brother who is a real estate agent has done some acting. Maybe there's a link. Great vids, I'm here in ABQ now from SLC (from NC) and love it, its so relaxed and friendly, I live in Nob Hill. I'm more of an introvert so I think Las Cruces or Santa Fe may be more suitable for the future, when my business gets off the ground. People, don't let the crime of ABQ scare you, just take precautions if you live in cheaper areas but there are plenty of better areas to live where you wont have to worry at all. The atmosphere is so pleasant and calm, it feels like an island, which is really true bc ABQ is isolated in the middle of the desert. Its so nice looking out from a hill and seeing the sun leave town and fall behind the desert until the next day, its something special.

    Thank you for this. I lived in Rio Rancho for 3 years then moved to Nashville. I am thinking of coming back to NM but was trying to decide between Cruces and going back to Rio Rancho. You have given me the best video to compare the 2.

    • @AllAboutABQ
      @AllAboutABQ  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Las Cruces is gorgeous in my opinion. Very similar to southern Arizona landscape (obviously) and it's got a small town vibe. Heard some good things about Nashville! What brings you back to NM??

    • @immamullen
      @immamullen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AllAboutABQ I only moved South to be close to family and that got real old real quick lol. I worked for an insurance provider in NM and did some acting on the side, which makes ABQ/Rio Rancho a bit more attractive, however, I am a current remote worker praying to retire in about 15 years, which makes Cruces attractive. I like them both but have never lived in Cruces which is why your video is so helpful. I am still making my decision and hope to visit NM next month if possible.

    Albuquerque is nothing to brag about.K-12 schools are some of the worst in the country.High school drop out rate ,highest in country.The crime rate is way,way above the national average especially the violent crime rate.Drugs drugs drugs and more and more drugs.That explains the crappy schools and the high crime rate.Albuquerque is becoming,or already is,Oakland Ca.Both cities have a Central America feel to them.
