Imagine an alternate universe where Days of the New released one genre defining album after another over and over again. Going over all colors of the rainbow and exposing the acoustic to every genre of music. Travis does special shows with an orchestra now and then, Nicole is the guest female singer on every album, he's patched things up with Todd Jesse and Matt, and they even record a "roots" album once in awhile... Fuck man. I'm grateful for those first three albums but this guy had so much more to give.
Travis was a gorgeous, gorgeous man. I saw him in pennsylvania in March..... a walking "don't do drugs" commerical right there. I still have hope he will recover and keep making music for his fans.

My son and daughter are hooked on these guys and they are 21 yrs old. Honestly, nothing could have made me happier because Days of the New is my favorite band
Travis Meeks was and hopefully will be again some day, a musical Genius. Fantastic vocals and the style with mostly acoustic guitar.. is awesome in most of the Days of the New songs.
love how he looks in that shirt and this song rocks!!!! Travis is a genius and has overcome so much....asperger's syndrome and meth addiction....he is doing well these days and still writing. I wish hims the very best.

I've always loved this song and this album. This band went into a brave direction with this one with a "world music" sound that is thoughtful and a bit trippy. This is by far their most radio friendly song on the whole album.
Nice insight, this was actually vwritten by the band for Travis Meeks who was out of his right mind on heroin and other drugs and was super paranoid and killing himself
