Bravo Media sails through the French Riviera in a new season of Below Deck Mediterranean. Sandy may be navigating the “Sirocco” mega yacht again, but she brings a new level of leadership in season four. With high expectations, she has no tolerance for anything short of perfection and will take drastic measures if the crew can’t deliver. Hannah, looking to right her wrongs from last season, is hoping for smooth sailing with a strong interior crew. But will choppy waters threaten her redemption? Mila, classically trained in French culinary cuisine, becomes the first female chef in franchise history, but after a bout with food poisoning right as the first charter guests are set to arrive, she’ll have her work cut out for her. Aesha, coping with a difficult past and using humor to get through tough times, is ready to hit the high seas and get another charter under her belt. Anastasia, born in the Republic of Georgia, has a strong sense of pride in her work ethic which takes her on an unexpected journey. João is looking for a fresh start and is laser focused on being the best Bosun for the crew, but not everyone is on board. Colin, feeling homesick, quickly finds himself on the outs after trying to connect with the new deck crew. Travis after a few mishaps begins to question leadership, however, it’s his “work hard, play hard” mentality that comes into question by the rest of the crew. Jack ruffles feathers when the crew notices he’s putting more effort into pursuing a crew member than his actual job.

This is probably my favorite cast, so far, on BOTH Below Deck shows. We're seeing each person up close and personal. Usually they'll have a stew or a crew member who really doesn't give much during the season and they're forgettable and just in the background. But every single cast member, including that horrible wench Mila, were so interesting to watch. I wish sometimes the producers would bring back the same cast each season.

Joao was out of line speaking to Aesha to her the way he did. The owner of the yacht treated them to a day off in Monaco, they were together in a group enjoying each other in what was to be a light situation. They were not performing for the bloody Queen for gods sake. Kudos to Travis for calling Joao out on it, not that he cared. Travis you got to get hold of the sauce mate, it is not cool.
@EC C No, love I didn't take a Bathroom break, After Joao explained himself to Aesha, she said she respected his answer, but she further commented on not trusting his sincerity...the morning after Travis approached Joao,and calling him out on his behavior to Aesha. Joao did not accept Travis ...and they both shook hands like mates.

I’ve noticed with a lot of kiwis (as a kiwi myself) we are hella friendly and outgoing and a lot of people misconstrue that as being flirty or whatever, also Aesha and Anastasia are like such a good duo cause Anastasia can calm hype Aesha up when she needs it but she can also calm her down and call her out on her shit when she needs to and I feel like they are such a good combo

I'm from USA. I've noticed the Aussie/new Zealand personality years ago. Its so laid back and doesn't do bs. Get too big for your britches and no-one is going to let you get away with it. When Sandy said "act like a chef" she meant have confidence in your work and don't doubt yourself, not walk around like your God's gift and treat the rest of the crew like they're beneath you. She pretty transparent via her display of behavior..she attempts to create an illusion of humble & modesty with reinforcement with use of self commentary...but her narcissism & immaturity still prevails .

Right or wrong, I think Joao was embarrassed because of where they were, in Monaco, home of the late, great, beautiful Princess Grace, from America. Many women my age admired her--so aptly named. She was genuine but truly graceful. She did Americans and the world proud back then. I don't think he'd have been as affected were they on spring break in Florida.
I was embarrassed for them also. There is a time and place for different behaviors. The hotel knew who they were and what ship they were from I am sure.
