    Wow...I've seen so many car reviews the past 5 years and I've never seen such a detailed and entertaining as yours. You are the only one who measures the trunk and more. Great job!! First time in your channel and I am going to stay here. By the way, I would love to see the starting 1.5TSI Ambition version as well.

    I have a VRS on order, so really enjoyed the review! I already have a MY19 Edition and we also have a MY21 Sportline. Big fan of the Kodiaq, it’s such a flexible car, perfect for us , 3 kids and 2 dogs!

      Do you have the 3rd row? I am looking to get a VRS as well, but not sure if child seats on the 3rd row are an option (no isofix). Also, how reliable have your other Kodiaqs been?

    • @kthanxlol
      @kthanxlol 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zebekias3 Yes, all of ours have been 7 seats. You can add isofix to the front passenger seat if you need to, though there is no isofix on seats 6 and 7 in the boot so the older kids go in there! They’ve all been reliable so far, though the new VRS will be the first petrol, the other 2 are diesels. I’m still waiting for it by the way, they’re taking ages to build them all at the moment

      @@kthanxlol Thanks for the good info. I was on the fence because of the non-premium brand, but I really want the space, and it seems the Kodiaq has more of it than the VW Allspace.

    Saw those wheels in the facelift publicity photos, didn't realise they were just covers. Easy to remove by driver but also easy to remove by thief.
    I have car almost identical to this in Thomas Blue only it's a Sportline. Sportline seems much better value. I agree, the Amundsen in my old car was much easier to use. And one problem for right-hand drive cars here in UK - touchscreen screen menu buttons remain on the left side therefore when you reach over to touch them, gesture control kicks in and changes the screen. Very annoying. Simply clever? or Skoda Simply forgot? Other than that it a brilliant car. Great video.

    The "sound aktuator" is an embarrassing overcompensation. Luckily you can modify with OBD tools so it is permanently reduced. I set my Octavia RS noise to 30% so all modes are reduced 70% in noise. I'm not a fan of the fake carbon trim in this model. The current Sportline with upgraded leather ventilated seats appears to be more premium. I'm also a huge fan of these real buttons in the centre console and steering wheel.

    A truth a big part of the industry need to learn: We don't need touch buttons for everything. Especially when manual solutions work both quicker and safer. As for example volume knobs, climate, heaters, GLOVE BOXES (Tesla) etc, etc. Just because we have the tech, doesn't mean it'll do the job better. Idiocy. Good, Thomas and good, Škoda! (VAG).

    Not convinced that this motor provides any signiificant extra performance over the outgoing diesel Thomas? 500nm is pretty nice in the diesel and on a long trips, not on motorways I.e real roads up hills etc the diesel gets into the 6L/100kms range easy.
    I think this is more virtual signaling and having to go petrol due to taxes than an actual improvement In my opinion. Kodiaq VRS should have got the better 206kw motor thats in the Superb Sportline, not this one.

    The only down side looking at the video might be ride, looked very sporty / not comfortable. Maybe it is comfy with the good roads in Germany / Austria, but here in Bulgaria with our pot holes and bad roads, the ride will probably be unbearable. I currently own the Octavia 2021 model, but looking to upgrade to the Kodiaq for more room and 4x4 abilities.
