It’s a precision frame, so faster base charge than a high impact, and can also roll with successful warm up and other charge perks. over 1000 kills in pvp with my snorri and HELL that thing is a sleeper pick. When i started to play it in trials my clanmates were telling me to stop trolling until theyve seen what it was capable of. i had a long break and idk how it behaves now but when i used to spam it it was insane

Was always my go to fusion when i needed one. i think the snorri especially shines on maps like midtown or burnout where you have close range but not as crammed as javelin for example because you can outrange/outburst alot of other fusions :) i remember the first flawless i had with it was on midtown and after getting one kill the second kill is just completely free with it xd
As someone who has pretty much swapped off of shotgunning to fusions and eventually going to give sniping a try, i most definitely will be going for multiple god rolls of this
What I love about this gun is that how free it is on crucible when it comes to kills. Also bonus points that if you applied Biolume on this, its a slick black color and it looks god damn gorgeous.
Can you make a fusion rifle 101 video. Where you go over things that may not be common knowledge or the community as a whole doesn’t know? Like I still don’t know if all perks that decrease charge time also lower damage. Or if the difference in impact really matters. There are tons of questions I have that I can never get a straight answer to. And I know you definitely the man with the answers!

U might wanna include this, if u plan on using it for Trials / Comp Mainly god roll would be: Fullbore, Projection Fuse, Under Pressure and High Impact Reserves with a Charge MW. Situations where u would get the Benefit from Warmup wont happen nearly often enough for using it.
The reason I don’t value HIR as much, is because the first shot isn’t the problem, I’m going to nail that and I know I can pre-charge… it’s the follow up that has always been glacio’s weak spot against high end / coordinated teams.
I'd say that the crazy speed that you can get a double is worth the trade-off. You can make big plays with warm up. HE reserves let's you get an easier kill sometimes. I'll take the big plays.

Have to point something out as a fellow fusion nerd. Enhanced battery is detrimental specifically to reservoir burst damage. I understand it gives you 2 more shots with overflow, but you are missing out on 2-3 shots with the extra 25% depending on overall ammo reserves. 3-4 shots miss out if the gun does not have overflow w enhanched battery. Feel like projection fuse for less damage drop off would be a better pick for reservoir burst.
So I got 2 great PVE rolls this evening, overflow/reservoir burst and repulsor/controlled burst. Just tested both out, my comment was in the right ball park about reservoir burst but it is just a 1 shot difference bc of ammo reserves. You get 15 rds base ammo w reservoir, 22 with a triple void chest rally. Definitely loosing a 25% extra damage shot by running enhanced or ionized battery. You get 8 reservoir shots wo enhanced vs 7 with enhanced. The controlled burst roll only gets 13 rounds base ammo, 19 w 3xVoid chest rally. I was bummed it got a reload MW at 1st but after testing it out I’m glad it did. Unfortunately it got ionized vs enhanced battery, only thing holding it back from being a 5/5 god roll so im stuck with liquid could til a better one drops.
I wasn’t too hyped for this upcoming glacioclasm enough to farm it.. But then I saw the new perks and this video. Ooooh boy. This is going to be fun. Null composure is going back in the vault for this one.
I would honestly go for a Under Pressure and High Impact roll mainly due to the fact that it is also top-tier for 3v3. I feel like Successful Wam Up is more of a 6v6 perk.
Even then though, Overflow is just instant, so I still think I'd go for that over Slideshot since it only messes with the first single bolt of the mag.
Oh my god, FINALLY someone else who puts Full-Bore on a gun. My personal Godroll for this is the High Range Glacioclasm (Full-Bore, Projection Fusion, Under Pressure, HIR, + Range Masterwork), you have so much range and if two Guardians are running at you together (which happens to me super frequently), you can map them both hard and they'll never see it coming.
Special mention should go towards a Liquid Coils, Charge Time masterwork Glacioclasm with Under Pressure and Fragile Focus. You have the same stats as if you went +20 range from mag and MW as long as your shields are up, which isn't too hard since Glacioclasm is near useless as a reflexive defense option unlike a rapid frame.

Dood I was never a full range fusion guy I usually went stabil then range. Then I found a roll from last yr that had fullbore, projection charge time mw with under pressure and kickstart. I used it for a few games and my gosh ur lego range for this thing is alll u need. It didn’t even feel hard to control like the accuracy just landed them. When I had those few kickstart moments It was crazy smooth. Def glad kept this one. Gonna use it more and now I def want a high range under pressure successfully warmup combo for sure. Would be a blast no pun intended 😂😂🎉🎉

The race for best PvE god roll between reservoir burst based build and overcharge based build is tight. Sustained damage on a single big target for overcharge vs basically any other use for reservoir burst. I'd call out that if taking the reservoir burst path instead, people need to make sure to not pair it with a magazine size increasing battery part like one does with the overcharge path. Any further magazine size is a detriment with reservoir burst. It already puts 16 into the mag at once with overflow, which is all you can carry even with 1 reserves perk on your armor. So all the extra pre-overflow magazine size does is make one fewer shot qualify for the reservoir burst effect. The true PvE god roll is to have the option for overcharge or reservoir burst, and then the option for enhanced battery or accelerated battery. The rest can be the same for both paths.
After so many rolls I got mine with overflow/resevoir burst or under pressure/eye of the storm. Now if I could just get an upgrade for my avalanche to have rewind rounds/target lock...
I prefer reservoir burst over controlled. You have 25 % more damage on every shot and subsistence for add clear is amazing too. You will also always have reservoir burst active.

I almost got your pve god roll of Glacioclasm, Got all of the perks but the master work was reload speed. Reload speed is great, because you won't always have ammo to proc Overflow.
This past Banner got me to use a roll of Pressurized Precision that I hadn't touched since I got it, and I FIRMLY believe it's the best fusion rifle I've ever used. If you say that this new Glacioclasm competes for the top spot of "best fusion rifle in D2", then that means I HAVE to keep an eye out for it. I've learned by now that you know what you're talking about (especially with Slickdraw Eremite) so I'll heed your advice!

On my first glacioclasm I got corkscrew rifling, arrowhead brake' accelerated coils, particle repeater, heating up, successful warm up with a charge masterwork😈
Glacioclasm with Slideshot/Overflow + Controlled Burst for PVE is going to be goated. Im already addicted to Gyrfalcon, so having a new BIS energy dps to pair with Gyrfalcon for constant Volatile bonus is going to be wicked. Been using Doomed Petitioner with it and its great. Soon i'll have even more fun with even more weapons released this season!
lego, something to possibly bring up is checkmate special ammo economy somewhat nerfing under pressure. normally we spawn with it already active but since we get 4 (i believe?) shots it isn't in effect as often as normal crucible. If this is possibly the system we are moving closer to are you going to start looking more at heating up/killing wind over under pressure on fusions?
It's definitely on my mind. I already don't value UP as much as I used to, but I'll integrate it into recommendations once they go full steam integrating checkmate style economy into the game. I don't know how crazy they'll get with it.

I have a general fusion question. Which archetypes of fusions does high impact reserves help in pvp? Its only like a 3-6% increase for pvp (i think) so cant imagine that helping much
My main issue with this fusion is it’s pitiful reserves. I liked the idea that it’s a void fusion that can surge match with tractor cannon. Regrettably it has 13 total bursts which is 4 less than my loaded question. 4 shots may sound like not a big deal and you may think that tractor getting some extra damage when you apply/reapply it is worth it but nah you lose an obscene amount because each of those shots in a well with surges and tractor is hitting like a truck. This will not be replacing my loaded question for use with tractor but I’ll still get a good roll for gm usage.
Personally I would save Glacioclasm for PvP and use something like Eremite for PvE, as its craftable, but if I get a good PvE roll for Glacioclams I'm not truning it down. Great video as well.
Dang got all the perks for the PvE (fluted too) but got a range MW instead Charge time. Thankfully I'm one of the crazy people who doesn't mind that long charge time, at least in PvE (but damn it would be nice).
i love this thing, except for that it's not a rapid fire. scatter signal casually being a rapid fire with overflow controlled burst instantly makes it top tier for damage, probably de-throning cartesian co-ordinate for this season (run a solar primary for radiant). but since they're seperate slots, you can pair them together for damage. overall though, i'd say glaciocasm an 8/10 or 9/10.
What are your thoughts on accelerated coils with charge time MW and high impact? It still does 67 per bolt and can 3 bolt 10 resil but at 880 charge time.

@@jacobruiter592 dont have numbers but lego has a video talking about all this, larger magazine means slightly more damage on the last shot or shots with HIR. It's only a max of 6% damage buff in pvp but it buffs each bolt not just the shot itself. Under pressure works the same
I have farmed for a god roll glacioclasm each year it's been available, gotten them eventually, then ended up never using a single one more than a few hours.
Does the reduced damage from Backup Plan still one shot? The Slideshot combo with that just feels so snappy + reload on slide. This video made me check my vault. I have a couple of really good rolls one of which is a Offhand strike + Backup plan. First kill aided by BP charge speed with followup shot being a laser beam with OF.
Not only does it still oneshot, it still 4-bolts all resiliences provided you're within damage falloff--which is what you'd need to kill a Titan anyway. I do Midha's for that, since Backup Plan+SWU, but Offhand Strike is definitely worth trying
Note that this is pretty much the only fusion archetype where Backup Plan is worth it. The rest lose too much damage (rapids can't even oneburst with it lol) and get less of a benefit since it's a percentage of charge time rather than a flat amount.
Man I love your videos and your insights to fusion but I feel like it rarely translates to the game for me, not sure if it's the difference between controller and mnk or if it is that you play 99% invis hunter in your gameplay or something completely different.
I still think that wizened rebuke is better. If glacio still had offhand strike I'd farm it for pvp, it's the best 3-rd column fusion perk for me. For pve though this is first really good void fusion worth farming (last one was epucurean and it's awful). Basically it's a void loaded question.
I wouldn’t. Check out the charge time guide two videos ago, I wouldn’t ever go accelerated as it changes bolts to kill for other resilience levels unfortunately.

With a charge time masterwork it's almost a RAPID, but with 100 range. CRAZY.

IMO YES, because this fixes the follow up shots. You can always pre-charge for the first shot, but against incoming doubles this is the only option.

I almost got your pve god roll of Glacioclasm, Got all of the perks but the master work was reload speed. Reload speed is great, because you won't always have ammo to proc Overflow.

This past Banner got me to use a roll of Pressurized Precision that I hadn't touched since I got it, and I FIRMLY believe it's the best fusion rifle I've ever used. If you say that this new Glacioclasm competes for the top spot of "best fusion rifle in D2", then that means I HAVE to keep an eye out for it. I've learned by now that you know what you're talking about (especially with Slickdraw Eremite) so I'll heed your advice!

Arrowhead, projection, range mw, UP, HIR. 100 recoil, high range. I use backup mag, so I have high impact reserves for 3 shots
On my first glacioclasm I got corkscrew rifling, arrowhead brake' accelerated coils, particle repeater, heating up, successful warm up with a charge masterwork😈
Glacioclasm with Slideshot/Overflow + Controlled Burst for PVE is going to be goated. Im already addicted to Gyrfalcon, so having a new BIS energy dps to pair with Gyrfalcon for constant Volatile bonus is going to be wicked. Been using Doomed Petitioner with it and its great. Soon i'll have even more fun with even more weapons released this season!
lego, something to possibly bring up is checkmate special ammo economy somewhat nerfing under pressure. normally we spawn with it already active but since we get 4 (i believe?) shots it isn't in effect as often as normal crucible. If this is possibly the system we are moving closer to are you going to start looking more at heating up/killing wind over under pressure on fusions?
It's definitely on my mind. I already don't value UP as much as I used to, but I'll integrate it into recommendations once they go full steam integrating checkmate style economy into the game. I don't know how crazy they'll get with it.

I have a general fusion question. Which archetypes of fusions does high impact reserves help in pvp?
Its only like a 3-6% increase for pvp (i think) so cant imagine that helping much

My main issue with this fusion is it’s pitiful reserves. I liked the idea that it’s a void fusion that can surge match with tractor cannon. Regrettably it has 13 total bursts which is 4 less than my loaded question. 4 shots may sound like not a big deal and you may think that tractor getting some extra damage when you apply/reapply it is worth it but nah you lose an obscene amount because each of those shots in a well with surges and tractor is hitting like a truck. This will not be replacing my loaded question for use with tractor but I’ll still get a good roll for gm usage.

Personally I would save Glacioclasm for PvP and use something like Eremite for PvE, as its craftable, but if I get a good PvE roll for Glacioclams I'm not truning it down. Great video as well.

How do you feel about extended barrel vs full bore? I think the 10 recoil direction would help a bit more noticeable than the extra 5 range

Comming from a mans who’s name on destiny “I like my Glacio” I’m so happy bout this
i love this thing, except for that it's not a rapid fire.
scatter signal casually being a rapid fire with overflow controlled burst instantly makes it top tier for damage, probably de-throning cartesian co-ordinate for this season (run a solar primary for radiant). but since they're seperate slots, you can pair them together for damage.
overall though, i'd say glaciocasm an 8/10 or 9/10.

What are your thoughts on accelerated coils with charge time MW and high impact? It still does 67 per bolt and can 3 bolt 10 resil but at 880 charge time.
I wish it would get offhand/killing wind, I love it on royal executioner but high impacts are more fun!

One thing I always wanted to test was Under Pressure and HIR roll with ionized battery. Does that increase the benefits of a low magazine more?
yes both perks will proc with 3 shots in the mag instead of 2 but u only spawn with 2 shots so I don't think it's worth it

@@jacobruiter592 dont have numbers but lego has a video talking about all this, larger magazine means slightly more damage on the last shot or shots with HIR. It's only a max of 6% damage buff in pvp but it buffs each bolt not just the shot itself. Under pressure works the same

Impact stat doesn’t equal actual damage output. I know, it is a very frustrating system because sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t.
I have farmed for a god roll glacioclasm each year it's been available, gotten them eventually, then ended up never using a single one more than a few hours.
I’ve been the same way, but this is the one. Successful changes everything for me.

Does the reduced damage from Backup Plan still one shot? The Slideshot combo with that just feels so snappy + reload on slide. This video made me check my vault. I have a couple of really good rolls one of which is a Offhand strike + Backup plan. First kill aided by BP charge speed with followup shot being a laser beam with OF.
Not only does it still oneshot, it still 4-bolts all resiliences provided you're within damage falloff--which is what you'd need to kill a Titan anyway. I do Midha's for that, since Backup Plan+SWU, but Offhand Strike is definitely worth trying
Note that this is pretty much the only fusion archetype where Backup Plan is worth it. The rest lose too much damage (rapids can't even oneburst with it lol) and get less of a benefit since it's a percentage of charge time rather than a flat amount.

I still think that wizened rebuke is better. If glacio still had offhand strike I'd farm it for pvp, it's the best 3-rd column fusion perk for me. For pve though this is first really good void fusion worth farming (last one was epucurean and it's awful). Basically it's a void loaded question.

I wouldn’t. Check out the charge time guide two videos ago, I wouldn’t ever go accelerated as it changes bolts to kill for other resilience levels unfortunately.
