I would definitely appreciate an end of season vault cleaning watchlist video like this one, since it can be hard to keep track of what's worth keeping. I have the HipGrip/Offhand Fioritura and I paired it with Heritage and the same perks. Its actually pretty scary how confident you can be when hip firing with these. I would say my rarest gun is misfit with zen moment. most players dismantled the gun with that perk since zen moment was a waste and autos were pretty bad for a long time, but now with the anti flinch its a very desirable perk and misfit is literally the only 720 in the game that can roll it. The only reason i kept the thing is because it was my go to controller auto rifle when i broke my leg and couldn't sit down at the desk to play mouse and keyboard. it was very sentimental to me so i never deleted it, and now it is unironically my favorite auto.
@@DJET723 I would have agreed until zen moment was buffed. I miss way more shots from handcannons shooting at me than I do from recoil. Dsr is absolutely my second choice though
Disruption break is always a perk I keep in my vault. It’s so powerful and people aren’t used to it. Another big benefit of disruption break I’ve found is the debuff crown from it extends above certain terrain giving pseudo wall hacks from time to time. Last thing for those who aren’t aware, disruption break is one of the few debuffs that can be stacked on a target last I checked, so well of radiance gamers can get absolutely bodied if they don’t respect it.
I’d love a video going through each vendor weapon and giving a god roll for each and highlighting any rare or special combos. We have so many engrams and not always sure what to do with them aside from dismantling 99 weapons and armor pieces on the last Monday of the season.
I just wanna say I appreciate the content you make. Watch every video and know that what you produce is fantastic and fun to learn. You do a great job and that's why I come back time and time again.

Would love more of these videos. So much sits in the vault and these are great reasons to pull stuff out. Found an old Messenger w/ Zen Moment + Headseeker. This was thanks to your Exile suggestion.
I actually still have a Valpecula with hammer forged, accurized rounds, encore and explosive payload OR outlaw and headstone. One of the only weapons I have where it has 4 perks to choose from.
6:53 for the longest time, I ran explosive head + incandescent, but this roll alone was so good that I crafted a second Tyranny of Heaven just to have this combo and was so good that it replaced the original roll. Such an ad clearing monster
The original Retraced Path from Dares of Eternity with Shoot to Loot (non crafted). Shoot to Loot is coveted amongst speed runners and endgame PvE players for obvious reasons, picking up ammo from a distance and instantly reloading stowed weapons makes for a very powerful tool and on top of that- traces are the best specials to use for objectives/interactables. Currently theirs only one trace rifle that can roll with Shoot to Loot, Path of Least Resistance. This season was a missed opportunity to add STT to the stasis and strand traces we got so, hopefully they'll update the perk pool for them eventually.
On Dragonfly / Incandescent Tyranny of Heaven: Next season Rays of Precision is coming back, where if you get a headshot final blow while Radiant the target ignites. Even back in Season 17 without Dragonfly it caused a nuke in the area comparable to a Warmind Cell, give it a try if you're running that bow!
I saw the Fioritua drop a while back and kept it, just based on the rare reinforcing perk combination. It's definitely a lot of fun, and great to see on this list!
I have all of these except I deleted the hip fire/offhand strike sidearm cuz zen moment feels way better on it. My fave rare gun is Tap The Trigger/Dynamic Sway Uriel’s Gift. This gun is crazy in Iron Banner. My fave rare PVE weapon is Timeline’s Vertex with Shield Disorient/ Demo. It always helps with wizards; the only “blinding” fusion rifle!
It's always nice to have videos to validate my hoarding lol I have.. - Turnabout/Trench Barrel/assault-mag Compass Rose - Golden tricorn/Heating up Psi Hermetic - Headseeker Senuna - Kill Clip Rampage Range stacked Kindle Orchid - Adagio 120 (Praise Gunsmith)
While they may not have whacky perk combos The Forward Path and The Ringing Nail are two auto rifles that have been doing some fantastic work in PvP since the changes to both 450s and recently 600s.
a personal pitch is the battler with demolitionist and adrenaline junkie. This was the role for my first battler in the first week of the 30th anniversary. I have loved this combo as it lets me take my grenade builds to new levels. I have held on to that same battler and got the same combination for the last breath. Same could be said for pugilist and squash buckler for my melee builds. Fun and efficient. HAVE I THROWN ENOUGH GRENADES, SHAXX!!
These are mostly unique perk combinations in the video. Some rare weapons I can think of... -Crimils Dagger: 120, drop mag, snap+kill clip -Celerity weapons, especially Igneous/Messenger -Talons of the Eagle: 150 scout, 60 stability, zen+moving target. (It is a legendary and out performs Jade. Doesn't require aiming, it just aims itself, strong flinch resistance) -Palindrome: 140 hc, up to 90 range/60 stability, 75 range w fluted is 68 handling as well, killing wind, high cal which idk if HCs even roll with anymore. King of 140s (Sunset) -Antiope-D: 600 smg, 17 zoom, 87 range, high cal, Zen+Kill Clip -Proelium: Rapid FR, 23 zoom (lmao), 60 range, moving target+range finder. (The scope on this weapon also makes the recoil predictable and vertical, same as good ol' Erentil used to be. Has (Had?) near perfect 1 shot consistency). -Black Scorpion: Rapid Scout, snap+zen (throwing this on the list, I can't think of any other veist scout with zen, and snap is a game changer on such a low handling weapon. It never misses it's optimal ttk and can duel mid range)
One weapon that is incredibly hard to get nowadays is the “God” coordinate . It was sold by banshee years ago. The Cartesian coordinate doesn’t see much light due to being outclassed by some of the more popular fusions but at the time it was a solid replacement for merciless. Deets: charge time MW, Lead from Gold and vorpal weapon. Another of the same instance is the famous Xur’s ingredient. These two are just healthy reminders to check the vendors out often. Gems are few and far in between these days.
Last year's Mechabre with Snapshot and Slickdraw. With the origin trait Search Party it has the fastest ADS speed of of all snipers without needing any handling exotics and being a high impact frame can one shot supers. The new Mechabre doesnt have Slickdraw so that roll is currently unobtainable. It's the best sniper I've ever used. And it's cool af too. Also in terms of rare weapons now, a honorable mention for me goes to Dead Man's Tale with Snapshot for PvP, and Subsistence for PvE, both of which no longer roll on the crafted version.
I think my rarest drop is my adept wardens law Vorpal, enlightened action and extended mag, i know people went for 4th times the charm, but with extended mag you have exactly enough bullets for the full duration of lucky pants, and enlightened action makes up for the reload penalty. i grinded so long for this and sure it may be in rotation again, but with how long it took me to get, a week might not be enough to get it
Another one to add to the list is the Judgement kinetic 140 handcannon from the Prophecy dungeon, that rolls with Osmosis and Demolitionist. Unreal weapon in PvE with the handcannon buff. On Shadebinder, particularly Ossiomancy, you have turrets and coldsnaps up all the time. In your own words, its wild.
@@gabrieltorres6633 Three words: synergistic surge mods. Eclipsing the kinetic damage buff. For example, my Nightstalker using Gyrfalcon and the Envious / Destablishing Harsh Language can generate void breeches regularly, and with the right mod collecting that creates armour charges powering the surge, and that also applies to the Judgement once I throw a grenade to keep the cycle going. It's highly synergistic and plays incredibly well, don't knock it until you try.
@@gabrieltorres6633 Perhaps, but I believe you're taking the discussion away from the topic of the video - which is unique weapons that aren't easy to acquire yet do niche yet special things.
What fantastic tips & explanations of the perk combo's - Thank you for these and i will most definitely be watching for your next in this series. Have a great Season Reset everyone !
Theres an old school sunset void pulse rifle with head seeker kill clip, I had it, but I deleted it because I hated the sound it made when it fired, I dont think its claws of the wolf I think its an old 450 adaptive I think
Weapons with drop mag perk that aren't sunset: Gnawing hunger DM/ KC, Ancient Gospel DM/ KC. A perk that once had a steep downside and now has one of the fastest reloads with no downsides or prep.
My travelers judgement 5 sidearm from mercury has rapid hit, tap the trigger and ricochet rounds, it may have been sunset but it will never leave my collection for exactly the reasons you mentioned, +ULTRA stability and even tho it says 50 range you can easily map with it. Thank you for confirming I’m not just a hoarder!
Watching this video I realized I have the two PSI HERMETIC V rolls u mentioned and I think the NOX PERENNIAL V w/ controlled burst and envious assassin rolls fits really well n this list.
personally i think zaoulis bane with explosve payload incandescent feels better than tyranny does after the handcannon buff. handcannons now have the second highest dps on legendaries after sidearms iirc and you can feel it. tiranny can feel great as long as you can oneshot all enemies, but once you need more than one shot it becomes quite unwieldy i got both fully crafted and i use the bow sometimes, but i feel like its a lot more niche in terms of which difficulty levels it feels good at
Legendary bows are in a bad spot. Almost any situation where Tyranny would be good merits using an exotic bow instead, Ticcus or Trinity. Anytime a kinetic slot bow is needed you want Wish Ender.
High Albedo with headseeker, surplus and range masterwork. I have Last Dance with dragonfly, outlaw and range masterwork also, but don't know if it's really rare.
Traveler's Judgment 5 I have a roll with tap the trigger, rapid hit and high cal rounds. Range 67, stability 75, aim assistance 70 and it recently was unsunset.
I got the Hipfire / Offhand roll on Fioritura really early and was pumped for the synergy. Sad to say I was pretty much never using it, though, so I recently deleted it during vault cleaning. :(
i have at least half a dozen flawless cards with trickleeves forerunner and this fioritura roll, it is something special. countless 1v3's with invis and devour once i proc it i feel like i cant die
Haven't watched yet but I'm betting I've already deleted all 10 weapons. My vault purge was almost scorched earth, not because I needed space but I was tired of seeing stuff I was never using Edit: everything mentioned was deleted if I had it or I never went to get it. The only thing I regretted deleting was burden of guilt although I didn't have a good roll
Next to my Bygones, i kept a "Claws of the Wolves" in my Vault - the void HRoF-puls from Iron Banner back in the day. Also, with Headseeker and Kill-Clip. And a sidenote to Liminal Vigil: if i am not mistaken, it is the only weapon in the game, that can get headstone together with a damage-perk. I got one with Kill-Clip. Great in PvP. (not saying, a headstone weapon needs a damage-perk, but it is the only one to have ^^)
I still have my Turnabout / Trench Compass Rose -- Thanks to the video YOU made about it, CG! I haven't had very good luck with Senuna, so I'm looking forward to it entering the Lost Sector rotation BUT the first ever PSI Hermetic I got was Outlaw / Kill Clip -- which obviously isn't the perk package you recommended, but it's AMAZING.
I have a snapshot firmly planted Eye of Sol from Season of the Splicer. I rarely play PVP and was going into Trials for a Shyura's, glad I held onto that snapshot roll.
If you are gonna put liminal in there I'd say that the double shot gl from the dungeon should be in here, its easily the best breech gl for rotations in pve.
Seeing this video after doing my vault cleaning a couple weeks ago… saw all my Liminal Vigils and thought “I never see anyone talking about or using this weapon, I’m probably safe to delete these”😭😭
I have an old gahlrans right hand auto with tap the trigger, and it feels so much smoother than other high impacts. It could also roll with multi-kill clip in the fourth slot, but mine has ambitous assasin. Its definetely one of the best feeling high impact autos in the game.
Great topic. I'd definitely like to see more including PvE rolls as well. I need some reassurance for why I've refused to get rid of some of these weapons in my vault 😂
God I had so many of these weapons until a week ago when I did some winter cleaning. Hipfire/offhand Fioritura, tap the trigger/desperado Liminal Vigil, headseeker Senuna, turnabout/trench barrel Compass Rose (I got it when you recommended it last Solstice), and then the two craftable Last Wish weapons which can still be made anyway. The reality is just that these have a place in pvp, and I only find myself in Crucible if I need to be for a pve rolled weapon. They weren't getting used, but vault space will always be helpful so I tossed 'em.
I have Outlaw + Headstone on mine. The problem is that Wild Card has a cooldown, and it only has a percent chance to proc anyway, so it's far from consistent. In contrast, Disparity can 1 shot every crystal because of the Hakke origin perk, so I find my Outlaw + Headstone Disparity to br far more consistent.
Oh, boy, I have a few comments to make here, especially since I'm a big sidearm enthusiast. About tap the trigger on sidearms, I think the only semi-auto sidearm (360, 300, 260) was Translation Theory. I remember it best for being one of my very first sidearms in the game and I really enjoyed it. For those who don't know, it was a world drop (I think) 300 RPM sidearm back in the old days (some time before Beyond Light), but had the same motif as the Dreaming City guns. Shame they didn't bring it back with the rest of them. For the hipfire on sidearms, I never tried it on the Fioritura (and I have a small collection of them), but I have dabbled in other sidearms with it like the Boudica-C (260 RPM), threw on the freehand grip mod for good measure and landing crits has never been easier. Senuna with headseeker is super good. I used to not like burst sidearms, but Senuna changed my mind entirely. Absolutely love that thing and since mine has envious assassin on it too, it's really fun in PvE to just constantly reproc headseeker like nobody's business. Does well in PvP too. A friend of mine doesn't have the killclip + headseeker Chattering Bone, but she does have killclip + rampage roll which is silly fun for her. Anyways, that's pretty much it.
BxR-55 Battler with arrow head, ricochet rounds, demolitionist and adrenaline junkie The Last Dance with farpoint SAS, high-cal rounds, quickdraw and tap the trigger Jorum's Claw with arrow head, ricochet rounds, gutshot straight and incandescent
I thought I was going crazy. But finaly some one points it out. I got an outlaw headstone psi and was tearing it up. I had never seen a gun nuke it's own crystals so amazingly
My Last Dance is Tap the Trigger, moving target, Hi-Cal, Range MW. Aztecross & True Vangard have this roll. Cross has used it a few times. I bribed TV on stream to pick it up from Xur... It sits in his vault LMAO. I am not a hardcore PvP player... but I have over 2k kills on mine.
Man my Fioritura-59 with Thread Detector/ repulsor brace lowkey Carried me through dungeons and Raids with my Gyrfalcons hunter... niche pick but slept on for sure
Looked through my vault, I saw that I have a Liminal Vigil with Tap the Trigger and Desperado on it. I'll have to try that out next time I decide to play PvP.
No distractions or perfect float over zen moment on the combined action? The recoil help with zen moment and it seems to give crazy anti flinch. Sure with only killing targets in 2-3 isn’t going to give you many stacks of zen moment but damn it just feels so good.
Yeah my favorite gun in recent memory is the liminal vigil with headstone kill clip. Headstone 3rd gives me the payoff aoe without losing a dmg buff through kill clip which lets me go for really smooth kill chains in pve content like raids
ive been a huge tyranny of heaven fan since back in the day w/ the fixed roll that had like sneakbow and dragonfly and dear god does the reprised one go hard this season
I still rock my Curated Chattering Bone and Tyranny of Heaven only because I haven't had an opportunity to get people together to farm the red borders for these weapons
I still kept my Outlaw/Explosive Rounds Trust from way back in Forsaken. Still has Drop Mag, which they completely removed due to its redundancy as a perk since Infinite primary. Also have The End scout rifle from Trials of the Nine, which I got from the clan engrams early on in Vanilla D2, when Hawthorne could still reward you raid and trials weapons through them, even if you hadn’t completed any yourself.
Just coming back to the game, love this vid and hope you make more like it! Have two of the weapons/rolls you mentioned and will be giving them a try for sure!!!
Thank you for watching!

I kept my Claws of the Wolf void rapid pulse with kill clip + headseeker and it absolutely slaps. No regrets here!
These are mostly unique perk combinations in the video. Some rare weapons I can think of...
-Crimils Dagger: 120, drop mag, snap+kill clip
-Celerity weapons, especially Igneous/Messenger
-Talons of the Eagle: 150 scout, 60 stability, zen+moving target. (It is a legendary and out performs Jade. Doesn't require aiming, it just aims itself, strong flinch resistance)
-Palindrome: 140 hc, up to 90 range/60 stability, 75 range w fluted is 68 handling as well, killing wind, high cal which idk if HCs even roll with anymore. King of 140s
(Sunset)
-Antiope-D: 600 smg, 17 zoom, 87 range, high cal, Zen+Kill Clip
-Proelium: Rapid FR, 23 zoom (lmao), 60 range, moving target+range finder.
I think my rarest drop is my adept wardens law
Vorpal, enlightened action and extended mag, i know people went for 4th times the charm, but with extended mag you have exactly enough bullets for the full duration of lucky pants, and enlightened action makes up for the reload penalty. i grinded so long for this and sure it may be in rotation again, but with how long it took me to get, a week might not be enough to get it
Love it. I have a Vault full of untried weapons, but I'm scared to delete them in case there's some great ones.
What a waste. Why lower your damage output?
@@gabrieltorres6633 Three words: synergistic surge mods. Eclipsing the kinetic damage buff. For example, my Nightstalker using Gyrfalcon and the Envious / Destablishing Harsh Language can generate void breeches regularly, and with the right mod collecting that creates armour charges powering the surge, and that also applies to the Judgement once I throw a grenade to keep the cycle going. It's highly synergistic and plays incredibly well, don't knock it until you try.
@@metakiogaming4529 you might as well use double special at that point along with a mod to give you special on finishers.
@@gabrieltorres6633 Perhaps, but I believe you're taking the discussion away from the topic of the video - which is unique weapons that aren't easy to acquire yet do niche yet special things.
I wanted that roll on the auto rifle from the dungeon too. Osmosis is great for all the new synergy
I've got a Third Axiom 390 adaptive Killing Wind Headseeker, and it puts in work, over 1k kills and counting!
FATEBRINGER WISHBRINGER DEATHBRINGER. the ultimate loadout to BRING to pvp
That loadout has a nice bring to it
Watching this video I realized I have the two PSI HERMETIC V rolls u mentioned and I think the NOX PERENNIAL V w/ controlled burst and envious assassin rolls fits really well n this list.
I have the compass rose. Seriously got it the day of your review. I thought it was epic.
Same here it's my work horse, also have a quickdraw incandescent for pvp
personally i think zaoulis bane with explosve payload incandescent feels better than tyranny does after the handcannon buff.
handcannons now have the second highest dps on legendaries after sidearms iirc and you can feel it. tiranny can feel great as long as you can oneshot all enemies, but once you need more than one shot it becomes quite unwieldy
i got both fully crafted and i use the bow sometimes, but i feel like its a lot more niche in terms of which difficulty levels it feels good at
Legendary bows are in a bad spot.
Traveler's Judgment 5
I have a roll with tap the trigger, rapid hit and high cal rounds.
Range 67, stability 75, aim assistance 70 and it recently was unsunset.
I got the Hipfire / Offhand roll on Fioritura really early and was pumped for the synergy. Sad to say I was pretty much never using it, though, so I recently deleted it during vault cleaning. :(
Same 😢
i have at least half a dozen flawless cards with trickleeves forerunner and this fioritura roll, it is something special. countless 1v3's with invis and devour once i proc it i feel like i cant die
Haven't watched yet but I'm betting I've already deleted all 10 weapons. My vault purge was almost scorched earth, not because I needed space but I was tired of seeing stuff I was never using
Edit: everything mentioned was deleted if I had it or I never went to get it. The only thing I regretted deleting was burden of guilt although I didn't have a good roll
no way i am sharding my redrix claymore or my killclip, rampage kindled orchid do you know the work it took to get those?
Next to my Bygones, i kept a "Claws of the Wolves" in my Vault - the void HRoF-puls from Iron Banner back in the day. Also, with Headseeker and Kill-Clip.
And a sidenote to Liminal Vigil: if i am not mistaken, it is the only weapon in the game, that can get headstone together with a damage-perk. I got one with Kill-Clip. Great in PvP.
(not saying, a headstone weapon needs a damage-perk, but it is the only one to have ^^)
Definitely like this video and look forward to the next. Have always enjoyed your focus on the underdogs and overlooked, thanks for all you do!
I still have a "Death by Scorn" which has head seeker and a range masterwork and even though it's sunset now, it is still a ton of fun in crucible.
Been absolutely hollering about Wilderflight for a while now. I never see it tho. Mine is a never leave my pocket wep
PEOPLE vault-cleaning meanwhile Coolguy out here telling people hol up. Keep em coming!
Definately make more of these vids. Maybe a "these would be the last guns to leave my vault." vid.
You’re like the opposite of Datto! 😂. “Don’t delete these”
Seeing this video after doing my vault cleaning a couple weeks ago… saw all my Liminal Vigils and thought “I never see anyone talking about or using this weapon, I’m probably safe to delete these”😭😭
On the OG Adept Eye of Sol, my first drop was Hipfire/Box Breathing. Makes me laugh, I’ll never delete it.
7:46 I got a claw of the Wolf with rampage headseeker. I don't know if it could roll kc?
I just checked it out. It could roll kill clip headseeker
I lucked out and got both of those Psi Hermetics. The Headstone one is a lot of fun.
Man youre absolutely cooking with the pve suggestions. Interesting stuff though. And im after the Ikelos SG patterns too haha
BxR-55 Battler with arrow head, ricochet rounds, demolitionist and adrenaline junkie
The Last Dance with farpoint SAS, high-cal rounds, quickdraw and tap the trigger
Jorum's Claw with arrow head, ricochet rounds, gutshot straight and incandescent
I thought I was going crazy. But finaly some one points it out. I got an outlaw headstone psi and was tearing it up. I had never seen a gun nuke it's own crystals so amazingly
I swore I had a Psi-Hermatic in my vault with Headstone and I was right! So using this next season, THANK YOU!
Ooooone moooore of these videos I love these little gems, it’s truly what makes destiny special
Enjoyed the video, would like to see more rare perk weapon reviews
My Last Dance is Tap the Trigger, moving target, Hi-Cal, Range MW. Aztecross & True Vangard have this roll. Cross has used it a few times. I bribed TV on stream to pick it up from Xur... It sits in his vault LMAO. I am not a hardcore PvP player... but I have over 2k kills on mine.
Free Destiny 2 content from a cool guy
Solar being the seasonal element is going to be...beyond fun. I'm just imagining the amount of explosions...
Yeah my favorite gun in recent memory is the liminal vigil with headstone kill clip. Headstone 3rd gives me the payoff aoe without losing a dmg buff through kill clip which lets me go for really smooth kill chains in pve content like raids
Great video man, would love to see more stuff like this
I still have my disruption break + firmly planted exile's curse. Never thought of how rare it actually was.
I really enjoy this sort of video and think you're particularly well positioned to make videos like this.
I thought this video was super fun. I’d love to see it as a semi regular bit, like a go to when content is slow.
ive been a huge tyranny of heaven fan since back in the day w/ the fixed roll that had like sneakbow and dragonfly and dear god does the reprised one go hard this season
I have a last hope with tap and rangefinder and it's absolutely insane and sunset af
one of my fav side arms, TTT is so underrated, so many of my fav SMGS, Autos and sidearms have that.
I still rock my Curated Chattering Bone and Tyranny of Heaven only because I haven't had an opportunity to get people together to farm the red borders for these weapons
Love that this is like an antagonist to vault cleaning haha
Jiangashi AR1. The one and only Lightweight Frame Autorifle. Would love to see more.
I have a last dance with moving target and tap the trigger and it absolutely melts. One of my favorite hidden relics in my vault
Just coming back to the game, love this vid and hope you make more like it! Have two of the weapons/rolls you mentioned and will be giving them a try for sure!!!
I'm holding an exiles with firmly planted and disruption break. Glad to know the value has increased!
