Jobs actually read the biographies of Ford and Disney and modelled Apple on it. Ford said "I have to pay my people enough to enable them to buy my product". When asked why Apple didn't outsource Jobs said "That would be shortsighted. Take care of your top line first, your products and your people and the bottom line will take care of itself".@@brianwachira

Good video about industrialist Henry Ford and the way he made the automobile popular in the USA. Good narration in the video. I am happy to learn about vanadium steel, a steel stronger and lighter then regular steel. I think the assembly line in factory production was invented in The boat factory of the Republic of Venice during the Renaissance era were they manufactured war ships or boats that was used by the Venetians at the battle of Lepanto to defeat the Ottoman Turk in the Mediterranean.

A young man (actually suspected of being his illegitimate child) tried to scold him with regard to his opinion.
The young man proclaimed “people don’t do that in the modern age”
Ford shot back “young man...I created the modern age!”
The truth of the matter is that he was actually quite accurate.
He had created the middle class and therefore the beginning of what was considered the “modern age”..
