    A great man, he wasn't only a fantastic innovator but also treated his employees like gold. He also knew who the enemies of the West were, and didn't hold back in his assessments

    Make the best quality of goods possible at the lowest cost possible, paying the highest wages possible.
    - Henry Ford
    Henry Ford, in a sense, was the first Keynesian. He paid his assembly workers high wages so they could afford to buy his cars.

    When Henry Ford built his Model T he was rolling 15 MPH. That's about right. We're getting too carried away with ourselves.

    • @d23g32
      @d23g32 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Huh? He didn't say HE was Ford's chauffeur, he said his grandpa was, which would be entirely possible without the OP being anywhere near his 80s or 90s. Henry Ford died in 1947, so let's say grandpa was Ford's chauffeur in the mid - early 1940s when the grandpa was in his 20s, that would mean the grandpa could have been born as late as the early 1920s. Rounding it off to a birth year of 1920, the grandpa would be 97 now. If the OP's parent was born when the grandpa was 40, the parent would be only around 57 years old now, and if the OP was born when his parent was 40, the OP would be only 17 years old now.

    this man or should i say his son/grandson ripped off a real inventor irelands harry ferguson read about the famous handshake deal he struck with ferguson, the ford company went on to steal fergusons tractor and other farming implement designs,until ferguson took Ford to court,Ferguson eventually won recouping millions in lost sales,but the cost was heavy to Fergusons health and took its toll,fords attitude was the sales gains made from Fergusons stolen designs would outway the eventuall court payouts.nice guys,and they call the jews for everything.

    11:02 "...but the overall objective 'make the thing better' is never lost sight of." Un... aren't most people developing a product trying to make it better? I'm also pretty sure a few if not most of the hundred other companies working on designing cars at the time were 9:55 "thinking of the big picture." Nancy F. Koehn is worst of the many talking heads spouting this obviousness throughout this piece of shit documentary.
