Awesome catch and a good feed for the fam, planted your Kamo Kamo seeds and they are doing well, love the purple bean's growing. Thank you, Mike, and Rubba. Sending Aroha to you both and Erin xx
Kia ora Jude, hope you are enjoying summer down there. Nice to hear your kamokamo is doing well. I feel a watercress boil up coming soon to use my one that's nearly ready. Take care 🙂
Your the man. Too many content creators. Take the whole motu down to the secret spots. Next minute go to the secret spot and the commercial fisheries are there.
Massive catch Mike ,dean an the 2 helpers . That net worked mint az 👌. My kamokamo patch is kind of slow too i got 2 from it so far so thats allgood . Eating like a king bro 😎
Kia ora Kelly, I am not sure about the details only knowing that it's multi filament and this had heavier 2nd hand lead rope. We'll do a vid about that hopefully soon.
Dean hasn't made any up for anybody else yet Bruce but we have talked about maybe doing some for people if interested. The cost of course is the biggest factor compared to buying one made up.
Bro set your net in the channel while the water is still covering the mud flats then leave it there till low tide, flounder feed on the mud flats then as the tide goes out they move off the mud flats and into the channels then into the harbour, use your net to cut off the channel as they move off the mud flats, then splash the rest in. We'd get on average 20 flounder in one set doing that.
Heeeey Mike and Rubba! Moko and I are watching this now he's been on a few kaimoana missions but no footage! Love this though Mike always appreciate your content 💯☺️
Kia ora Tineka, your moko would enjoy this mahi kai, splashing and swimming like Dean's mokopuna did. Waiting for the kamokamo to get a bit bigger then go and find some watercress 🙂
