My comic book store posted they had him in stock, I was stoked so I went right after work. Not even 1 hour he sold out 🤦🏼♂️
That Juggernaut wave head looks surprisingly good on the new body.
I agree.
The costume is accurate to Marvel Vs. Capcom, but that representation was based on his costume in the comics at that time, I believe late 90s if memory serves. The image on the back of the box is pulled from a comic from that time.
I'm looking forward to the new X-Men 97 wave, I wonder what characters they'll be.

There is no new X-Men '97 wave. Dan Yun already confirmed that wave 2 is the final wave for the year. That doesn't mean that there won't be a wave 3 in 2025 or at some point in the near future. But for now, they're done with X-Men '97. Like MCUCollector24 said, until a wave 3 is officially announced, we can't assume that one is happening.

Pin arm is still bizarre, even more in 2024.
They’ve been making a lot of there things pinless so it’s weird they didn’t just use one of there pinless arms
It's not that bizarre. Hasbro is going to reuse parts and reuse body molds wherever they can to save on costs. We're going to continue to see pins on Marvel Legends figures. Even if it's just one limb that has them.

They don't really bother me either. Would I prefer them to not be there? Yes. But like MCUcollector24 said, it's not the end of the world if they are there. Especially if they're the same color as the rest of the arm or leg. That helps to blend them in more. It's only really jarring if the pins are a different color than the limb. They really stand out then.

2:44 Yes, the weapons were included with Sasquatch Cable and previously with Silvermane. Fun fact: they use the Nerf Vagabond and Nerf Barrel Break IX-2 designs. Looks like in the dystopian future, Hasbro becomes the world's leading weapons manufacturer. 3:25 Surprised no reviewer has mentioned the new sculpted crotch piece and how it was originally supposed to have blue paint on the sides.
Dude so far no reviewer had noticed that "change" they did in the production figure. Is wild because, yeah that is from the videogame desgin, but Im pretty sure its also from the comics. Let´s see if XMany is the chosen one and pick that one up

@@MCUcollector24 It does look better this way because their placement of the blue made the speedo look weird. The sides of the speedo were too wide. Moving the belt down to just above the hips should achieve the accurate comic and MvC2 look.

Honestly the pins wouldn't bother me so much if they were more flush with the body, instead of sunken in so much that it just looks like empty holes

Something about this figure just doesn’t look right to me. At first glance it looks fine but when really looking at it, it’s riddled with problems. The more you look at it the more disproportionate it becomes. I’m thinking it’s his lower body looking smaller than his upper body. Like he skipped leg day or something. And just painting the upper half of the boots looks real cheap as well. Then there’s the sculpt on the right arm being covered in veins but not a single vein sculpted on the rest of the body. That bothers me more than the arm not being pinless. Also hate the fact that they didn’t give him the proper gun (pictured in the artwork on the back of the packaging) that he uses with this suit. Instead they packed in 2 reused guns that don’t resemble any of the guns he used during this run or in the MvC game. It’s a pass for me.
You're right. At first glance I loved this look, it seemed to hit that time period for me. But the blue right arm that is the only thing with pins, those boots... yeah it's a missed opportunity this one
Your eyes are playing tricks on you. He's not disproportionate, it's his harness that makes his upper body seem bigger.
