Only the M4 has been on the autobahn (271 kph speed limited top end), as well as on Nurburgring Nordschleife, Circuit Park Zandvoort, and Spa Franchorchamps during Euro Delivery in May 2016. My wife also drove the M4 at 271 kph, and also drove all three tracks. We know how to pick our women!

What mods Xav? My AP1 with induction and exhaust mods would only do 240! It's such a great engine. Can easily be supercharged or turbo charged without changing the internals.

i have watched some keichii tsuyachi videos and what he does when downshifting is he slightly release the clutch and tip his other foot onto the gas paddle to keep the torque running. is that what you do to? that is really fast and difficult work to do at the same time. god damn this is real sport man, u real good driver

There's some cool info about drafting on the net. Thanks to your comment I just spent about an hour reading up a bit and came across an article with input from 3 NASCAR race engineers. I think you will find that 100 meters ish is not the kind of drafting distance that will affect the cars behind by a way-less-power margin. I'm really surprised that 250HP is enough for the S2000 to get to 270+ but I guess it comes down to gearing and aerodynamics in the end. It's not like it gained 20kph in the top end from being that far behind the beemers. (I understand your comment is nearly a year old but thought it might interest others to read up on this)
Pshhh if you want you can put an ls1 into it, there's videos in TH-cam of that, but I doubt that's good for handling and probably makes it not have 50/50 weight distribution

Even though, the GTI or Type R still wouldn't be able to keep up, because of a big HP difference, and not only that... Z4M has excellent aerodynamics, while the GTI is a bit higher car. Driving behind the Z4M, the GTI could not keep long enogh to share the wind resistance.

yes I have to use the clutch to change gears. When I go down a gear, I make a heel / toe to synchronize the wheels and the engine.

On an S2000 AP1 the engine cut in 6th gear is at 174mph. I do not know the theoretical maximum speed wtih an AP2. I think it's less.

The S2000 Mugen is faster than stock, with better aerodynamics and more power. Today, I can't longer reach this top speed with my short final drive.
All expensive bolt ons and you're lucky to be 230whp with a good ass tune.
