It is SOOO true how fast it goes by! The days are long but the years are short. So short! My oldest will be a freshman in high school this fall and my husband and I were just talking... from the spring break right when pandemic hit til now, is the same time she will be a Senior in HS!!! Like HOW!? But, don't get me wrong, we are in the teen years now and I'm ok that she will one day fly the nest. But when she was small, until about 6th grade, I couldn't imagine being without her!

It's just mind blowing how smart these sweet children are! It warms my heart seeing flynns smile and watching Wesley and Masie cuddle with Eric and Colleen! I just love this family so much! Colleen and Eric are such amazing parents! God bless them! ❤️

Last year I went through a rough patch trying to figure out who I am And these videos got me through it not only the happy moments but also the sad ones it really helped me open up seeing you express your feelings. And you venting almost made me feel like you were saying everything I wanted to say but was to scared to say. So again I just want to thank you for consistently vlogging even with 3 kids

Flynn taste in music is on point!!! Also all 3 of your babies are so intelligent you can tell how much time you and Erik put into them. Keep that up. It will pay off when they are teenagers. My husband and I put everything we had into out kids and now at 17 and 15 they still talk to us about everything.

wow. I'm so impressed at how fast maisy's speech is progressing in just 4 months. She starts saying duck at 11 months, then 2 syllable words like baby at 13 months, and now this. I'm so proud of her
I love that Flynn loves some of my childhood favorite songs! So impressed with Maisy’s speech as well. I definitely heard “Hi, this is Maisy.” Do you introduce her to people that way? She may be copying you! So sweet.

My favorite quote to sum up having kids and them growing up.... "The days are long, but the years are short." And having a daughter who will be turning 17 this summer, I just weep and feel like... I haven't had enough time! It is so bittersweet.

Tortilla Talk: I just had a baby last month and I’ve been struggling with postpartum depression and anxiety so I haven’t been able to get myself to do anything nor do I feel like I have time to. How do you find time to cook, clean, work, and do crafty things? You are incredible, I don’t know how you do it all with three kiddos.

They just look like cousins. I think Colleen would think it’s great that her only daughter and only niece have some of the same features😊
@@bethanytaylor774 That’s true, the only reason why I think she doesn’t appreciate it it’s because people have been saying it for a while now, but she never acknowledged it or commented on it, so I think she either disagrees or doesn’t like the comparison. The only thing she acknowledged was when people were saying Wesley looked like the Ballinger boys and she said she disagreed, back when they were newborns.

I've always wondered what you are listening to when you have dance parties. Flynn has perfect taste in music.
Lay Down with your feet up a wall is even better. i was told by an acting teacher in college (and then a pre natal yoga instructor i had later in life) that 15 minutes of that is equivalent of an hour of sleep on the heart. it has been 4 decades since and i swear by that. i have used it when i was active in theatre, working long film hours with little turnaround, when i was raising kids and even now if have a menopausal sleepless night and have to make it through the whole day. your feet will go "buzzy" when it's time to quit...15 minutes is the norm, but i've been so tired, i could handle 20...if i had 20 minutes to spare.
Ive loved maisy and wesley doing the cuddles aww because when i was a toddler my mom always did that to me!! as a toddler i would always say awww. very nostalgic!

My psychiatrist gave me similar advice about resting. He said when I can’t sleep that even lying there with my eyes closed is better than not resting at all as you’re still resting. He said to try get up and do something for like half an hour, but if that doesn’t then allow you to sleep than just rest. It’s actually helped my sleeping knowing this because I’m less anxious about the fact I struggle to fall asleep, because I often stress about the hours I’m not getting if I’m struggling.

Thanks for sharing your first sewing project, so exciting! I'm still a beginner on my machine, but I love it. I'm garbage at sewing straight lines, but most of what I sew is clothing and I've noticed most bought clothes barely have straight seams anyway.
