Right?? Apparently the average time it takes for toddlers to recognize and point to four or more animals is between 16 and 21 months. She's only 14 months!

Wesley's laugh at the taste of the cookie says it all. You now have two little cookie monsters as well as one somewhat taller cookie monster to enjoy baking for.
I would have to 'misplace" (permanently) the toy cockroach. I despise those things and it creeps me out to see toy ones that move. Lol.

I don't know what Colleen does, but when I was 13 I liked to play around with dolls, make them clothes and stuff, and play with makeup and experiment with looks even if I never left the house with it on, I liked to sing and dance around the house, or with my friends around the block (we'd have mock pageants or singing contest and stuff like that), you don't have to be great at it, you have to have fun with it, also, read a lot, because even if you feel down about your looks ( you can't help it, it happens with teens, been there, done that, especially if you already hit puberty... or it hit you LOL ), you can always feel great about the brains... have a Cristina Yang moment, and go "screw beautiful, I'm brilliant, if you wanna compliment me, compliment my brain". Oh, and another thing that helps me cheer up is painting my nails; I keep them short for practical reasons, so when they're blue, or silver or red... they kinda look like Christmas decorations or candy, and who doesn't like looking at those? I guess what I'm trying to say with this ramble is that you have to find your sweet spot and be comfy with yourself first, and not base your self worth on what people think or have or say, because that's when it starts getting bad. There's more, but I don't want to bore you with a whole novel LOL.
I have talked to a lot of therapists, so got some ideas: 1: imagine you have a really kind friend, what would they say to you when you feel bad? 2: think of all of the kind things people have said about you. 3: Make a list of good things about yourself. 4: Think of 3 things, (or more) that you feel you did well every day(can be small things) 5. Talk to someone who makes you feel good.
You have to make a CONSCIOUS effort to keep positive thoughts. Negative ones creep in all day. When it happens. Recognize it and shift your thoughts

The pink dress and the rainbow beaded one look so cute on you! I did also want to let you know that if you don't have time or are unsure on how to take in any of the dresses in the back, they make dress clips! They just clip onto the back of your dress and help sinch it so it looks more fitted :) I've seen loads of them on amazon. Either way you look great in all of the clothes and I have been loving the vlogs lately!

Tortilla Talk Question: Hi Colleen, I've never heard a mom talk about this, but I've always wondered if moms ever wake up wishing for 'a day off' from the amount of work and responsibility that comes with having three kids. I love watching how much you do for your kids and how much fun you have with them, but I feel exhausted even thinking about the things you must do on top of what we see in your day to day life.
My kids are grown now, but the only time I remember wanting a day off was one time when I had a stomach bug and they were very young (both under 4) and also sick at the same time. It was miserable. I imagine moms are all over the board with this, but I enjoyed my kids so much and I was ready to be a mom when I had them. There’s no shame in moms wanting time for themselves. Any time someone would take my kids somewhere, I was ready for them to come home right away 😂 I hope Colleen answers your question!

I have two wonderful daughters, but I do need time for myself, and make sure I have it sometimes. I do miss my kids when I go do something without them, but it is essential for my mental health, so I can go back to them being the best mom I can and that they deserve! If I were in the place Colleen is, I'd consider going on tour ''time for myself'' in a way, but knowing how much she misses her kids when she's away, I feel she doesn't wish for a ''day off'' as a mom 😅Maybe when they're older and have more autonomy, it will be less difficult for her. They're still so young, and change so fast!
Is this sarcastic? She constantly leaves the twins home with her mom while her F and Erik have their “family time”. I feel like she’s never with all of them let alone parenting all of them at once.

Exactly. She makes it more than obvious that F and M are her faves and W gets attention any time she realizes her audience is noticing that she's forcing him into the background. She says incredibly hurtful things to and about him and he never gets as much attention or grace as the other two. It's disgusting watching the way she treats that poor boy.

@slakkieroos I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just pointing out what's being shown. Everyone always love to comment on Maisy and Flynn being cute all the time and there's literally no comments about Wesley, but also counting in that Colleen always shows them on camera most of the time except Wesley, and whenever he's in the vlogs it's always a short time as opposed to all the kids. Wesley should be shown as much as the other kids and Colleen shouldn't look blank or annoyed whenever she's holding him
As for the show outfits LOVE THE PURPLE PANTS, the “heavy” Rainbow beaded dress and the blue sequined skirt. Hope you can make them work. 😍😍😍

this is moreso a statement but i’ll throw in a question anyway. first i want to say that i feel like i have grown to become a much more confident person / woman / mom BECAUSE of watching your channel. you exude such confidence and showing your vulnerable moments online shows how truly strong you are. so thank you for being you and allowing me to follow along on your journey of life. my question, how do you handle running on such little sleep? i feel like you always have so much energy and you’re awake at all odd hours, what’s your secret?? ♥️ love you colleen.
Colleen I just want you to now you are a amazing mother you can really tell how dedicated to your kids and how much you love them.
Seeing Flynn love frogs brings back so much nostalgia for me. My favorite animal growing up was frogs. I even had multiple fire-bellied toads (you should consider getting, they're super easy pets!) they climb the glass of their cages too so you can see their neon bellies. Anyway I had everything frog from frog binders in school to a frog easter basket to frog figurines to the game Frogger... such a cool animal!
Another note - my adult favorite animal (lol) is orcas. you should look into them, colleen. I could watch orca documentaries on youtube all day. They are so fascinating and such beautiful, smart animals. They remind me of you (and myself) because they are the most empathetic creatures. They are so family-oriented. They have a whole lobe of brain just for emotional intelligence, that humans don't even have!
