i havent noticed an increase in GA at all this month its still the same as it was 3 months ago on all my similar items, i was told no increase in GA months ago by a reliable source. I havent seen it. as afr as the other services, yes ive seen the increase
The only real change I noticed this week is that Media Mail is up. In fact, it's up enough that 4 Ounces ships cheaper Ground Advantage than it would ship Media Mail. May also apply to 8 ounces or 12-- I don't know. My personal policy for the last year or so has been to upgrade to Ground Advantage if the difference is insignificant-- simply because GA includes insurance.
yes ive noticed that with 4oz media mail also, you would think if GA was increased 4oz would be more than 3.96 but thats still the same for me as always
@buckmountainbarn the last 10 years or so, media mail and first class package ( now GA) have had this happen a few times. Definitely counterintuitive, but you can bet that usps will "fix" it with the next update-- january or February.
