The insightful and resonant commentary offered in this video was completely undercut by my man using two hands to play Jenga! This clearly breaks all regulations in the Jenga handbook. Then again, man did carry thing into the room, and at the end of the day, that's what I watch this channel for. 10/10

I remember like 5 years ago when react channels were the bane of every original content creators existence. I thought we had beaten them, but I guess if there’s one thing that truly immortal, it’s laziness.
Until youtube starts putting restrictions on those lazy parasites nothing is going to change. YT won’t do anything about this cash cow tho.

Yeah, i also find it a bit weird how reactions became more accepted as a type of content over the years.
@@diehard7517 People don't care as much if people actually put effort into reactions. The entire point of react content is to react, and there are people who actually do that. The reason Jinx was getting piled on so much because he did way less than the bare minimum. He would stare at the screen, smiling, for 10 minutes, and the entire time say like two words.
And then they start reacting to the reaction videos and then react to the reaction of the reaction video. Basically endless content.

1. The guy just sits there and adds nothing to the video.
2. He pauses every 3 seconds, explaining,what just happened on screen.

Like Blind Wave react to films and TV shows but they don't include the whole film/episode in the reaction and they have a discussion at the end of it which is usually about half the time or even the same amount of time as the reaction

Attempted to and failed. Generic words cannot be copyrighted. They also attempted to trademark their format and were denied by the trademark office because show formats cannot be trademarked either.

@@ghoulsome9483 The first one would not hold its weight in court as all you'd have to prove is that the words "candy" and "saga" have existed before King trademarked them and are generic language words, just like how Stoic did when King claimed The Banner Saga would get people cofused because it had the word "saga" in it. As per the nemesis system, it could be patented if it's a programming related thing. That doesn't prevent people from taking it down in court if they can show proof that the same method existed before the patent had been granted by the applicant.

I like watching political react channels because I getting different perspectives on issues I'm kind of insulated to, but the new meta of reacting to hasanabi reacting to a video of someone else reacting to a trump speech or something is the wildest shit ive ever seen. There’s two types of react channel. One actually edits down their reactions to only the most entertaining parts and then discusses what they just watched afterwards. These are actually good.
The other just plays the entire thing they’re reacting to without any cuts, and their only reactions are to occasionally nod, laugh, or make a dumb comment, and for the most part they just sit there mutely contributing nothing while the actual worthwhile content plays. These are just awful, and are really only one step up from reuploading a video you didn’t make and pretending you did make it.
Just the other day I found out a channel made a 40+ minute reaction video to like an mini-video essay I did on Mario and Rotten Tomatoes. I've never felt more insulted and famous at the same time. He called me "Skinny Thanos" because I used a violet key-light. Honestly though I take it as a compliment. Not only did the man cure my body dysmorphia, but also gave me my Official Rap Name :)

I often watch Music reaction channels … I don’t even know why I guess it’s because i want to see their reaction and hear what they say about that … it does something in my brain … the same way when I want to show someone my music maybe

A react channel I really like is Blind Wave. They makes sure to edit the content so it’s not just a reupload of movies and shows, they also have an in depth discussion afterwards, usually lasting longer than the actual reaction.
