Valentina, as someone who used to work with tons of chocolate for school fundraisers, the best way to melt that much chocolate is to put the bowl you were using on top of a saucepan with simmering water. Just take the time to stir it over the simmering pot, and it will gently melt into a luscious liquid form. If you are just using a few chips, use the microwave on a LOWER heat setting for a few seconds at a time until melted. Hope this helps you. You don't need to waste the cups. Just use parchment paper on baking sheets. Have fun buying some colored chocolate chips to decorate your chocolate pieces!!!
Ah AND Enjoy life doesn’t like the microwave and it tends to clump, I’ve had to add a wee bit of olive oil to it. And like all chocolate if it gets any water into it it will be sludge

I have some advice for you in regards to the chocolate wafer recipe...I own a custom cake bakery/catering business in Auburn, AL and I work with chocolate A LOT, daily actually 😂... if you are using chocolate morsels, you can add almond milk, veg shortening, coconut oil or even veg oil to thin it out. I do that when I make cake pops. ONLY ADD WATER IF YOU ARE USING A BAKING CHOCOLATE BAR OR MELTING WAFERS! The morsels have stabilizers in them and a different fat content so when water is added, it will seize up. For example, when you make chocolate chip cookies, the chips remain mostly in tact after baking due to the stabilizers. If you use a good quality chocolate bar -not a candy bar- like Ghirardelli, they make a dairy free option I think, you can add water because they don't have stabilizers and the oil/fat content is totally different than the chips/morsels. Hope this helps you with your future chocolate endeavors ❤❤ Love watching you guys!

I was wondering if you should try the Valentino furry handbag with the coat that you’ll wear with it. I am picturing a warmer coat and thinking the handle was small and might not fit over your wrist with the coat on.
Regarding your driveway…. Have your guy tint the base color to match your house exterior as closely as possible, then add the speckles. When the garage is opened it should compliment your house exterior.
Try putting that garage floor sample on a big piece of white paper, and you will see the true color of it. Looking at it next to your garage floor is not going to give you a true idea of the color you will be getting. Treat it like you would a paint color. Compare against white.
Have you considered one of those garage surfaces that the pour on? It comes in a lot of colors and the have color beads they put in to give it texture. I've not used it, but wanted to. I took care of someone in a wheelchair for a while and rolling on it all the time cracked the floor tiles and they started to come up.
Dark chocolate using at least 70 percent to 80 percent cocoa is good for you. Reduces blood pressure and helps grow stem cells. I saw that from other You Tubers Dr Berg and Dr William Le. Love the Carmel color jacket on you with that YSL berry lipstick! The Valentino bag is the bomb. Thanks for showing us your haul and Jack in the garage with the trees. 😂. Get the garage floor. An easier option for the chocolate might be to make “chocolate bark” - melt it, pour it on a parchment lined cookie sheet, spread it, add your toppings, lightly press them into the melted chocolate, let it harden and then break it into desired size pieces - same thing, easier, less mess and will also have the thinness you wanted, too.
Garage flooring: a sample can be rejected. Not a big deal to change it. We picked a color that was good transition from the driveway, which in our case was brown. So we had grey with brown flecks. Regardless the final color, you will LOVE it. This flooring is a game changer.
I have those floors and they look different with the garage closed because the color of bulbs I have in garage. Garage open it has more cool look and garage closed it has a warmer look. So maybe decide which way is more important open or closed and which color are your bulbs? I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know about lighting. It’s just that was my issue when they installed mine.
I got that target Botega look-alike bag. I ended up returning it. I like to put keys and maybe some cash in the inner pocket and with no zipper, it just felt like everything was popping out. It was too close to the opening of the bag and the fabric behind it was too soft, so everything just pushed upward. Still think it's adorable, but it didn't work for me.

You should be honest with the contractor for the garage floor and tell him his sample is not what you are looking for. I am sure he will be happy to create something more to your liking. Hi V and Jack, for your garage flooring have you considered the epoxy paint flooring? You can add whatever color speckles you want before you add the epoxy. We did this in our garage and have been in the house for 21 years and it looks still amazing. Easy to clean and looks brand new. I went with the grey/black and white and then told them to epoxy three coats. Best decision I’ve ever made. I also love to bake like you. If you add a teaspoon of coconut oil to chocolate it melts easy and adds extra gloss. I have made the same mistake with water and was told that it causes the chocolate to seize up. Loved the front yard with the lights, smoke and gravestones.

Darker garage floor...maybe medium-dark gray to hide dirt. The light color will show stains easily.
