This video is not sponsored. I purchased all products myself (or items were gifted to me) and opinions are my own.
Have you ever had a steamed egg? I'd love to know below!
From videos I've seen, many hail from Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cultures (not sure if other cultures do steamed eggs like this too?)
I got a lunchbox like this today, and the manual is almost nonexistent - a couple of auto-translated sentences (-ish) about not dunking the base into water, but basically nothing about cooking with it. So this video was super-helpful and will probably save me from ruining my dinner. ;)
I'm getting ready to use mine for the first time in the hotel room 😅 this was very informative and fun to watch. Thanks for posting 👍
I myself would always cook the eggs and the rice at same time. The egg doesn’t ever really get over steamed. I think it took a good 30-45 mins for the rice. Also never needed butter just put the eggs in and was fine. Also each cup is roughly 1/3 cup.
Hello Hanna, thank you so much for your videos. I'm here with my Itaki at work busy figuring things out. Your video helps!
Happy to help!
I'm enjoying these Itaki videos. 💕 You make cooking in them look so easy. I want to get one or for my son, since he's into cooking.
That looks delicious. I'm all I need that...then I remembered I don't have an office outside of my home (normal not a 2020 thing) lol
Never had a fully steamed egg.... but when I fry an egg, I fry the first side til the white part is done and then I put a lid on with some water and steam the top til the yolk is just right.
in the big steamers. My father uses water with eggs but you need to the amounth of water and eggs for a good consistancy.
I would love to see more itaki recipes! I’m a young man who’s never been into cooking so I need ideas.
OoOoOo, you have the pink one! I know there’s only 3 colours but choices are hard. Lol.
