Bought one of the pros after your last video about them. As a truck driver it works great! I love how little and compact it is. It's perfect for one person
Hey every truck stop meal i don't eat adds time to my life lol. I cooked butternut squash and rice last night. I'm in the process of figuring out if there's some way to line it, I'm thinking either foil or parchment paper. I'd prefer paper but i don't know how that would work with wet foods.
These would be good for dorm room cooking. They look very interesting. I can think ofmany things I would like to try cooking in it. Oh and the cook on the way hi ome would be good for my son He is always starving after a long afternoon of baseball practice and or games. He could have dinner quickly and I wouldn't have to cook a meal late in the evening.
I got 3 last last Christmas for my kids and they like it. Teach em to use it and make them make stuff on their own its good practice. Keeps them occupied and we eat out less on family nights. It looks like a toy but works like a charm
I just bought another one for my dad since I loved mine so much. He's a senior (87) living alone with back problems so it takes him too much effort for him to cook and clean after himself in the kitchen. I'm thinking this thing will allow him to use it in his room if he's feeling tired or lazy. We'll help him prepare some of the fresh ingredients into containers or ziplocs days in advance and when he's hungry, he just grabs a pack and put it in his lunchbox and let it be. It sure beats leftovers or going into a nursing home!
@@kathywise684 I hope your father is doing ok. With that said, my friends mother fought tooth-n-nail to not go into a nursing home and when there was no alternative she went..and loved it! All the games, music, relatable movies and field trips made her life so enjoyable. So if you come to this, don't feel like you've left your dad down because it can be a very joyful experience for him. I say this with all respect.

Excellent demonstration Emmy. However I would highly discourage anyone from covering up their Power Supply. They don't put vents on those for nothing at worst it's a fire hazard at the least it may have an overheat shut off. Either way never a good idea to let electronics get to hot.
Emmy, I think you should do a series of leftover remakes. Like today I had leftover Chickpea salad that I didn’t want to waste. Soooo I decided to make a sort of makeshift minestrone soup. I forgot there were cucumbers In the salad so it had sort of a gazpacho vibe....but it avoids waste and it’s tasty. I’d love to see your ideas :)
I actually use this Itaku thing to heat leftovers also its healthier than microwave. I only keep leftovers for our favorite foods because even in fridge it can make nitric acid which is very bad. Never keep leafy green in fridge over night if there is salt in it. Meat is okay, but most cooked vegetables try to finish same day or better to throw it out!
My toddler heard your voice from across the room. She came barreling over, screaming, "Yay! It my Emmy! I love her!" You are such a positive energy. We love you. ♡

In regard to doing this from home: if you're working remote but still on a 9-5 schedule (or anything with a defined workday, rather than a job you can do whenever), this kind of recipie is still super helpful because it allows you to have a good, full lunch without taking your entire break to cook something up (and then clean all the dishes!) I have a small crock pot, & back when I did a lot of traveling I used it in my car, I ran mine on a bigger inverter, & I tried for 5-7 hours cooking time, that way when I got to motel late at night, I had a hot meal waiting, I usually did a chuck roast with vegetables, plus it was cheaper than eating out & usually made enough for 2-3 days of meals.
I was thinking about living in my car during work-hours, with one of these pots. Now that my office is closed, I’m finding it hard to work from home without getting fat.
Chapagetti and longanisa is my personal favorite combo. Same cooking style. Cook the longanisa first then add the chapagetti. The sweetness of the longanisa is great

Absolutely love the Fred Rogers Tshirt, not everyone knows what an amazing man he was but I'm sure you do. Love the channel by the way, especially the pastry shows since I'm a pastry chef by trade :)
We love our Itaki lunchbox! Our F-150 has two 400w 120v outlets and the itaki only pulls 200w making it perfect to cook while we tow our camper. We recently made breakfast burritos with eggs and veggies and it was delicious!
I'd recommend not leaving an inverter covered with a blanket, though most come with thermal protection, a lot of cheaper ones don't (saves the manufacturer money for profit!), so best to have them somewhere they can breathe and stay cool... :)
it has a cooling fan on it for a reason! probably the worst that would happen is it would overheat and shut off, but it would not be cool if a capacitor spurted out a gout of flame. safety first ;)
I use my Itaki Pro almost every day. I buy shio broth at the Asian market and make soups with veggies and dumplings. I make Japanese Curry all the time. It is so easy to make tasty fresh lunches.
This was a really nice one. I dont think this gadget appeals to me but I love that you made it relatable to what's going on today. I do think there's an added caution to fiddling with your car if you're in a parking lot, but if you have head a long day I think a fresh hot meal is always a good idea. Hope you and your fam fight the cabin fever and stay safe!
Love your channel and I just ordered the Itaki Pro because I tend to travel a lot and this is going to be perfect for conventions... when the covid-19 thing is over. Tempted to get the little skillet too. Their products are so adorable!
I bought a travelling rice cooker for conventions (I can't _stand_ hotel breakfasts and if you get back to your room after a busy con-day most take outs/delivery joints are already closed for the day. Meh.. -.- ) last year. Now I find this video and I'm like "Why?! [T.T] Why I no see this soonerrrr?! [---T.T---]"
I love the itaki, I actually bought mine cus of your last video Emmy, thank you!☆ I've made rice, cream stew, curry, hayashi rice, steamed veggies, butter soy mushrooms, steamed salmon all in the itaki! Seriously get one!
Jaydoggy531 I feel bad for you, not only because working near infected but also because you have to face people who are being paranoid and buying heaps of vitamin c and hand sanitizer with the ideology that it will help. Anyways. Good luck and don’t die.
Awww thanks all. I just left this comment then went to play video games. logged in to look something up and found positivity. Keep being you, everyone. I'm back to it first thing in the morning. Lunch/dinner already packed.
I didn't really buy the practicality of the travel pot, but I'd definitely tow one along for road trips so I didn't have to stop for too long or to save money. I'm sure it could be really helpful truck drivers, too.
Well well well....if it isn't a new Emmy video that I like to watch before I go to bed, sthg super relaxing about ur videos whilst being the most entertaining 🤗🤗🤗
They're remodeling our office and I will be sans microwave for at least a couple of weeks, this looks perfect so I don't have to eat a cold lunch every day in December or shell out $12-$20 every day for takeout (there's nothing cheaper near my office).
I don't see many people doing this on the way home from work but I think it is a neat thing! I love your videos! This would be great for road trips though I think!
First time watching you!! You are precious 😂 your quirky voices and giggle sounds…just the right amount 👌🏼 I think I’m hooked and will be purchasing the Itaki Bento Go!! TY!!!
I drive a lot for work so I own several things to cook while drive. my favorite still my circa 1970s coffee pot. but I have a couple pots and mini oven. so pretty convent for me. all 12 volt or 110 so use them at home. my newest is an electric. so definitely checking out these.
Funny you should mention but I made sure to bring my Itaki home from work on Friday since I will be telecommuting. I will be making steamed egg with veggies in the bottom and rice in the top for breakfast tomorrow 🙂
Definitely try the Chapagetti by itself, it's one of my favourite ramen/ramyeons! Before I tried Nongshim branded noodles I just assumed every packet ramen was the same, but no sir. Nongshim is a cut above the other brands by far. Also most of their noodles are in round blocks which actually fit in the pan.
Get me excited to see the brand of coconut milk and green curry paste. Yep, it's good to see my language appear on your channel. :-D And green curry with beef and eggplant is one my fav dish as well. Keep it up Emmy, love you.

it has a cooling fan on it for a reason! probably the worst that would happen is it would overheat and shut off, but it would not be cool if a capacitor spurted out a gout of flame. safety first ;)
I use my Itaki Pro almost every day. I buy shio broth at the Asian market and make soups with veggies and dumplings. I make Japanese Curry all the time. It is so easy to make tasty fresh lunches.
Bustin our with Blippi driving. Thats how you know you have small kids 😂 my son loves the garbage truck song and outer space.
Wish you could show more itaki pro recipes! Yours are more creative than the ones in the book it comes with
I like you just the way you are too, Emmy. Your videos have been cheering me up during these scary times. Thank you.
Emmy, hoping you and your family are doing well in the midst of this pandemic. We all 💙 you!
I've made the "elevated" Jappaguri(sorry if I misspelled) several times since I've seen Parasite. Fantastic movie and delicious dish. ☺
I love that Emmy's commute is just her driving to a park. This could be a very clever date idea.
This is awesome for those who need to keep working in these times with many shops and f&b places closed.
I love that you are singing Blippi songs!!! That is our jam on the way to school.
The excavator song! My daughter is 2 and loves that song. So much to learn about. Makes you want to shout... Blippi!
🙌🏼
I love your videos and how excited you get when you try something new!!!!!
I need one of the pro’s for my autistic grandson. This would make him healthy lunches while he’s at his special school.
Just bought this for my husband! Thank you Emmy! I can't wait for him to try it out for work.
Parasite is a great movie indeed. In the end i was in tears from emotion. Highly recommend it too if you have not watched it.
I love the itaki, I actually bought mine cus of your last video Emmy, thank you!☆
I've made rice, cream stew, curry, hayashi rice, steamed veggies, butter soy mushrooms, steamed salmon all in the itaki! Seriously get one!
"Eat Itaki Lunch!"
Ruel Galinato new T-shirt slogan!
My daughter is Philippina and I bought her one for her work. I hope she loves its.
Me too, my daughter is half black qtr mexican and qtr white
Still could be useful for me. I'm a pharmacy technician and guess who's probably not going to get a day off for a couple months? XD
Jaydoggy531 stay safe and thank you for your hard work! ❤️
Jaydoggy531
I feel bad for you, not only because working near infected but also because you have to face people who are being paranoid and buying heaps of vitamin c and hand sanitizer with the ideology that it will help. Anyways. Good luck and don’t die.
Thank you!! 🙏🏻
Jaydoggy231, Yikes! Take care of your fam and yourself. Get outside a little; be silly a little. 🎈💝
Be well, stay well and stay sane. Blessings!
You know you are a mom to two young boys when you know Blippi songs 😉😂
Or girls, my daughter loves her some blippi lol
My kid adores Emmy and watches all her videos with me. He also loves Blippi and just LOST his ever loving mind when she started singing it lol
Excavatorrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Blippi has made it over to the UK and my girl is obsessed!!!
Such cool gadgets!
ARE WE JUST GOING TO STAY SILENT ABOUT HER CUTE GIGGLE AT 8:14!?!??! MY GODS THAT WAS ADORABLE
Hi Emmy! Can you please do a review on the KFC donut sandwich? It would give my heart so much joy 😊 - thank you and thanks for sharing
I guess someone has to and lord knows it ain't gonna be me
Yes!!!
I’m not sure it’s joy you’re feeling in your heart after eating a doughnut sandwich. It’s your arteries screaming in protest!
Andy Sutcliffe lol
I get the feeling you should just put the inner pots in the fridge. The outer pot will insulate from the cold.
So funny my kids watch too much blippi lol that song is engraved in my mind
Haha, I thought I was the only one who noticed. Came to the comments to see.
I don't see many people doing this on the way home from work but I think it is a neat thing! I love your videos! This would be great for road trips though I think!
Here it is again. Ever since I commented on these Itaku lunchboxes last year these things follow me everywhere!
Stay safe, healthy, and sane!!!❤
Perfect timing! Now I can watch Emmy while I chop the dinner veggies 😊
When I’m home I go smoothie route then a solid meal at work as it acts as a slow burner cause of the solids which keeps you more energy for longer
How ADORABLE. Love yah Em!!!
Definitely try the Chapagetti by itself, it's one of my favourite ramen/ramyeons! Before I tried Nongshim branded noodles I just assumed every packet ramen was the same, but no sir. Nongshim is a cut above the other brands by far. Also most of their noodles are in round blocks which actually fit in the pan.
i wanted the shabuki pot the last time you did a video! finally went to order one online!
Get me excited to see the brand of coconut milk and green curry paste. Yep, it's good to see my language appear on your channel. :-D
And green curry with beef and eggplant is one my fav dish as well.
Keep it up Emmy, love you.
I always hit 'Like' before watching, because even if what you're cooking/showing isn't for me, I believe you should support your favorite content providers.
This has been one of my favorite videos! 😭🖤
That’s pretty nifty! Going to check out the products! Thanks Emmy! 💕
We just ordered ours! Super excited!
I wanted one of these the first time you did a video on these.. now I really want one 😂 Love this little pot!
Such a stinkin good video Emmy!
