Domestic violence is so prevalent these days. Even cops are doing it. But we never hear about it. Once again the courts and system has failed. Looks like a big family. Wonder why one of them didn't step in and help. A firearm is only a tool. Any tool, if misused, can be deadly. Cannot blame the firearm, blame the courts, system, and the person. Would people call for ban on knives if she was stabbed to death???? Once again the TRO just made things worse.

So the local police had him ON RECORD for violence yet allowed him to keep some of his firearms? He was a danger to the public with anything that could cause great bodily harm or death. Don't blame the gun. Blame the local police for failing to remove all his firearms from his possession. Unfortunately even then he probably would have used a blunt or edged weapon to commit his crimes.....

She wasnt fooling around. Jason was mentally and verbally abusing her for years..but she stuck it out with him. When she finally couldnt take it, she left. Jason was a person with a big ego and plenty pride. He couldnt accept that she was leaving and he couldnt handle the heartbreak and the fact she might find someone else. He took the cowards way out.
