- In this eye-opening video, we delve deep into the world of rinseless washes and uncover the truth that many enthusiasts may not be aware of. Brace yourselves as we unveil the stark differences between various rinseless wash products and shed light on why the phrase "Not All Rinseless Washes Are Equal" couldn't be more accurate. Gone are the days when all rinseless washes were created the same. As the car detailing industry evolves, so do the ingredients, formulations, and overall performance of these products. Understanding these disparities is crucial to achieving impeccable results and preserving the beauty of your vehicle.

I want Forensics Detail Channel UK to do this test. He’s the one I trust.
Thanks for including DIY Detail Rinseless Wash in your test
You guys made a hell of a product.
@@user-ci2xg7rq5ythank you.
You are so welcome!
As always the only company that takes the time to acknowledge the effort of the creators.
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 Yvan is pretty amazing about that
I had that very experience with DIY when I tackled super super dirty door jambs and trunk jamb. This was my sister's car which she doesn't care too much about so I decided to do a test using purely rinseless on those areas. The bucket looked so nasty filthy dirty and I could barely see my hand when I put it in there, but everytime, the wash media came out clean and ready to pick up more filth and dirty and then release it into the bucket. That sold me.
Thanks for sharing this , this is what a rinseless should do
Agree. I just did a nasty rinseless wash from all the salt and road film using 2 buckets. The wash bucket was filthy black and rinse was a little dark but not as bad. Everytime I took the sponge out, it was clean.
EC you failed to include a control solution, just plain water. Yes wood floats to the top and real dirt will drop to the bottom (under a grit guard) and then the suspension will be seen. Hopefully it is shedded from the MF rags but then again that MF fingers tend to hold onto junk. Thank for pointing out the issue of proper DILUTION.
And to add to this, you agitated and dipped DIY MF in the solution more than any other brand (which will remove more dirt). If you were to do this test again, weight out the amount of dirt to eliminate another variable. Pay attention to how they are submerged in the solution (dirt folded into MF vs dirt on the exposed side of the MF). Lastly, not rinsing the measuring cup between each measurement created cross contamination. Ideally, an entirely new (virgin) measuring cup for each product. Not a criticism, just suggestions of improvement on testing to remove more variables. I agree that proper dilution was a big miss on the other videos.
Bro, when you said fatman all I could think of was Peter griffin in his bat man suit. You are a GOAT, appreciate you brother!
Lmao 🤣
Great test Eddie. I think it would even be different to use 4 clear buckets with 3-4 gallons of properly diluted rinseless each. The microfiber doesn’t have the space to release all the dirt in the small cup. I love the real world stuff though. Keep doing Gods work
Ya this was to just go like for like I’ve done these test with each of these rinseless on dirty cars , we compared the cleaning , streaking , how it cleans micro and sponges
I can attest to the difference between DIY And ONR. I started my rinseless journey with ONR and always hated how greasy and gross the big red sponge would get. I would have to clean it with dish soap to get all of the grease out.
I NEVER have to clean the sponge using DIY rinseless. It’s always PERFECTLY clean. I was shocked the first time I experienced it!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Exactly what I have experienced between ONR, Absolute, and DIY Detail Rinseless. I haven't tried Phoenix EOD Hydra yet and want to see also a test between Idrosave in two weeks when it is supposed to be available, also Owner's Pride Eco wash 😜 To me for now, DIY Detail Rinseless is the best.💪👌👍🏼
@@1stfrompuertorico568 wtf i was about to buy ONR
Yeah, these rinseless-in-a-cup videos definitely started multiplying in a hurry. Thanks for trying to take a more critical approach to it and looking at things from a different angle, even if none of us are rocket surgeons.
Thanks for watching and it’s true it’s a cup of rinseless lol - I have spent time testing many rinseless against each other to go over how it cleans , glass , wash kits , dirt etc
Cuz it was literally his job bro. You think he going to slam the product for the company he works for? Maybe that's why he was motivated to start his business and make his own... he wanted to bring in better products possibly. 😅
I love these comparo videos and imho the test needs to be done again just because the towel is too big for the cup which can be debated that its not what we do in real the real word. The only conclusive is all of them pulls down dirt , how much thats debatable and if i were to judge ONR kills the other ones on this test because its the only one thats not murky meaning it pulled and kept the dirt down on the bottom which is the goal on this test. I'd say do a video on how the product was intended to be used properly ie in a bucket with the proper amount of water , dilution and recommended mit, rag , microfiber or foam.
Great video! Truly appreciate all your time & testing. Thank you for helping me pick the right products for my business! I obviously need to buy more DIY
Congrats on 3K Eddie!! Thank you for your time and effort on making this video, very insightful! I just used DIY Rinseless today for the second time and it's a beast, absolutely love it!
Thank you so much! For subscribing and being part of the community! And glad you got try diy rinseless
I feel like my dinner was extra bussin watching this video 🔥
Haha 😂 thank you
Awesome test and great comparison. Showed a lot. As you said we want emulsification and encapsulation. We want the mitt to be cleaned. It showed how much less clean the mitt was for sure on the ONR.
Appreciate to soc
And this is why I use DIY. I do my wheels with it even and it's one of the only ones that gets the wash media clean when I dunk it and rub it against the grit guard. If people are bothered by the dirt in suspension with DIY and N914 etc. they could just use two buckets.
diy cleans soo good
Hey brother, recent new fan of yours and just want to say I love your videos. I learn new lingo to add to my vocabulary and laugh every time I watch your videos. Don't stop being real.
Hey thanks for supporting the channel , subscribing and just being there it means alot
But when we add a surfactant to a product, we help to emulsify the blend (product+water+dirt), The surface tension between several products is lowered which helps the product to blend.
So, if the water and dirt are well separated (not blended), this only means that the product has fewer surfactants (or no surfactants). But chemically, this doesn't mean it is better (say "more efficient").
Thanks for sharing this!
Could you explain it in simpler terms ? I’m interested just confused on how to interpret
For having tried Onr and Diy detail rinseless. My biggest concern with Onr was how my big red sponge stayed dirty to a point I had to washed it after every wash with detergent. With Diy detail my sponge stay ultra clean like nothing sticks to it. For that, my vote goes to Diy detail. When my car is very dirty I used a two bucket method. Mixed 2 oz of rinseless in 4 gallons of water then pour almost half In a second bucket so before going back to the car my sponge is super clean.
waaaa didnt they say "it was made for the sponge"
thank you for clarifying keep up with the good videos been learning a lot from your videos
Thanks bro!
I bet the ONR cup tastes the best.

Appreciate you!!
Great job brother! I’ve never been one of the ONR sheep. Once I tried Yvans Rinseless Wash it was game over for me….its all I use now.
Yvan stuff is great dude is an innovator
OnR was the original. DIY is better but we can’t forget where we come from.
I was literally planning to ask you to make a rinseless video exposing all these bs cup tests. Great to see.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Eddie congratulations on 3,000 viewers first and foremost. I saw ONR release this video and then I saw the other video too. Thank you for releasing a video to show real world testing and results. I quit using ONR when DIY was released because DIY cleans like nobody’s business and the dirt at the bottom of my grit guard told me DIY was working. I have cleaned windows with amazing results using DIY rinseless where the water was black after washing the vehicle and wheels and tires.
Thanks Neil appreciate you!!
Jamie already said it, but literally the hero we need! Holy science, Batman! For real though, awesome job. The importance of those proper dilution ratios can’t be overstated.
Appreciate you watching
Awesome review... Great points mentioned. Eddie is a legend. 🙏🏻
THANK YOU for such a timely and practical video! My first thought about the other videos was that dirt is heavier. so of course it's going to sink to the bottom, but "encapsulation" means that the dirt *should be* evident within the mix, not separated. I wish you could've included McKee's too as I have been using that as my mainstay at moment.
Appreciate you watching
Great video! Thanks for showing how these differ.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it
You washed the dyi one in the solution and swirled pushed it up and Down around which help release more dirt half the dirt fell off of onr one when smashed it together dirt has to measured use regular dirt not potting soil with wood chip.
Ya? I also added the most dirt to diy cleaned the table with diy that had dirt - also did this test a year ago on the channel with a buckets
Thanks for watching
Huge fan of diy product, I have a few but don't have any of their rinseless. Yet. I still have half a bottle of ONR, going to buy some diy rinseless now. Right now.
Lets all remember Ivan used to promote ONR and the big red sponge. He's now off to launching a new business venture, DYI.
Ya ?
Eddie coming in with the truth 🔥
This is why I subscribed to you months ago less than 500 subscribers at the time, STRAIGHT FACTS POUR ONE OUT FOR THE HOMIES HAHAHAH
Appreciate you being there form the beginning
We used them all and very little differences in the end result on a vehicle. And this proves a point we have been preaching for years, never use a mitt/towel twice, use multiple towels/mitts and dont use it again. Nice demo
Your right never use a mitt with onr haha 😂 nah I’m trolling thanks for watching
@@Ecdetails 😆
Thank you for making this video, a lot of ppl go with the hype instead of going with what actually works.
Thanks for watching
Your videos inspire. After watching, decided to bring out ONR v5 after using DIY a while. Legacy sponge looked stained and microfiber the same; same method and conditions. Can’t go backwards with cleaning tech.
What was the verdict ? That diy cleaned better ??
@@Ecdetails Yep. DIY has been significantly better at releasing the dirt.
Not the best test man. I get your point BUT if i where to roll up the dirt like a joint and dunk it in all 4.... IT WOUNDT DO NOTHING, dirt can only escape if it has space you got your hands in them tiny cups that can barely even fit the little rags. can we get a re do with some containers that are like 30+ counces? these little kiddy cups are not good enought. no hate man but u got them degrees and i got my state sciencefare scholarship hanging on the wall, so i know how to do an experiment and this aint Quite it. Sure we can figure out somthing better, thanks for shoutung out something different in the echo chamber tho.
I was keeping the vibe the same - I have done these test with buckets against each other and it tells a different story. Appreciate you watching
ONE THING I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYONE SAY. ONR is just BLUE. impossibly blue. so blue that it just dyes the dirt. I feel like thats skewing the optical data. I could spray paint some dirt blue and throw it in ONR and clain ONR teleports the dirt to Antarctica. You get what i mean? everyone is judging by water clarity so if the water in one test is FREAKING fluorescent, its gonna look more clean by MASKING dirt particals suspended in the solvent.
@@Ecdetails you got a video for Rev5 against Rev3? Curious to see the comparison because I’ve never used either product professionally. too much water and money in my area lol would never fly with clients.
Huge in cali tho all my homies use it in some way.

Hey Mr. Degree. Make the video the right way then. 😅
All this video proves is that OnR’s point of keeping the rinseless wash solution cleaner is true. It’s not even close. A rinseless wash solution is not designed to clean mitts or towels, they’re designed to encapsulate dirt so it doesn’t remain on the surface of the vehicle. All of them do this fairly well. Yes, OnR keeps the water cleaner than any of them but so what? Who’s dunking mud soaked towels into rinseless solutions? …. Yeah, nobody. Pick one and be happy; DIY, Absolute, OnR, just pick one and go be profitable.
😊
Love the last sentence “pick one and go be profitable “
I knew this was coming the minute I seen the dirty water video, glad it was Batman to do it .
My guy appreciate you
Thanks for keeping it real, EC! Even if ONR was the best I couldn't use it because it water spots like a MFer where I live. Absolute doesn't, and it has mad slickness 👌
Onr water spots lord never heard that before
You have that backwards. The ones that look dirty have dirt particles suspended in the water. ONR looks clean because it is doing what it said dropping the dirt out of solution. Think about it. With the first three you are literally washing your car with dirty water.
Suspended dirt happens when the liquid is breaking up the dirt, if you let the cups sit they all go to the bottle.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the very reason why you use ultra black sponge or big red sponge or legacy sponge or other similar sponge media with rinseless. I’ve been washing our 3 daily drivers every week mostly with ONR but had a chance to do with DIY and absolute for the past 2 years. No issues whatsoever on all three but I still stuck with ONR cause I bought a coupe of gallons of it. I noticed the differences but im not eager to change my solution.
In fact, my main concern was washing the wash media which is a burden to be honest hence the reason why I switched to UBS a little over 2 years ago. Even Yvan himself mentions that the sponge was designed specifically for rinseless
Good test Eddie. 👍
Thanks for watching . Like I said use what ever you want the goal of this test was to debunk th clear cup nonsense , onr will do just fine - doesn’t clean the sponge 🧽 as good as the rest , when Itested it seemed fine to the naked eye but again I didn’t put it under a microscope
Great video I was about to comment on other videos about this, but you doing this video is all we needed! Wished there would have been a control of just distilled water and maybe some bigger containers, but the biggest downer though is I wanted to see that Fat Man Symbol! LOL
I tried to make one and had to head to church haha and full sent haha - the test was to show just the difference with proper dilutions , it could be better and that’s where you come in
Thank you sooo mutch! I am not a chemist, Just a "weekend warrior ". I have used onr and I now use absolute (I believe diy is the best but it is very hard to find it in my country). I know for a fact that absolute does a great job and couldn't understand why it felt better to use P&S. I literaly was ready to text mr Yvan and ask. That was a trully honest video. Shout out from Greece! Thanks again for the great video!!!
Thanks my Grecian brethren appreciate you watching! And absolute is good 👍🏾

Rofl #fortheculture right carlos!
My car is coated with Opti-Coat Pro3 and Opti-Coat Pro+. I've gotten the impression from Optimum that ONR bonds with their ceramic coatings as does Hyper-Seal. When my car gets really dirty from road salt I will first spray the lower panels with Optimum Power Clean which I rinse off with water. But normally I spray on Opti-Coat No Rinse and then do a contact wash with that and the black sponge. I use Hyper-Seal as a drying aid. My car looks great. Am I being suckered by thinking that Optimum products bond chemically with the ceramic coating?
Hey my friend first thanks for watching second - I would ask Yvan lacroix - I don’t know the “claimed science “ how can hyper seals nbond “ when chemically it is a just a sealant any ceramic sio2 topper would do the same thing “bond “
To the sio2 on the pant
I think maybe they were talking of the Opticoat rinseless. That one has a bunch of additives intended to help their coatings.
The normal ONR is touted for it's lack of strong bonding.
Always be careful not to read too much into the grievances of colorful personalities.
The reality is that you purchased a premium product for your vehicle. It's reasonable to expect with care and maintainance you will enjoy the attributes of the coating for the guaranteed life of the product.
So, there is no real reason to search for faults in your purchase. I mean really, how many microfiber towels that are stained get used daily all over the world. Does being stained mean there is grit present? I don't know. I've had things run through the washing machine that stay stained despite the solids that caused the stain being gone.
Even those we admire are not immune to their biases. And that's ok. It's why I take everything with a grain of salt. Even from my favorite celebs.
THIS Eddie finally got me to understand and believe in rinselss! My synapses finally connecting the dots of all these terms and claims! Finally got emulsification vs. encapsulation and how they each matter for cleaning paint without scratching. Thank you rinseless sensei!
I've got flat black soft Japanese paint and it's so freaking hard to prevent swirl marks, tried McKees v1 and just swirled the hell out of it so went back to soap (BH autowash, the best imo), but I wash outside so always chasing waterspots. You're finally convincing me to try rinseless and see how safe and easy the process is vs. soap.
I am interested to get your thoughts , like rinseless wash is how I run my business it’s never lead me down the wrong path
Well done EC❤IT. With great power comes great responsibility
Haha 😂
Thanks Eddie. Good job of sticking to the facts. I’m still amazed at how many people in this industry just can’t use what they want without trying to bash something else. I feel like most of the people sharing and trolling with the other cup video have never even used other products. That’s where your video really helps. I don’t wash buckets or cups. I was my car so my experience is from there. I used a few of the brands you tested here with the exception of Phoenix. While they all cleaned the car, I felt DIY gave me the best overall experience followed closely by P&S. There are a lot of products out there folks. Use what you like and move on.
Agreed I rather have a clean car then a “clean bucket “ and if so preference use what you want
Thanks for this example. When i saw the other videos, i was thinking the same thing.
Thanks for watching !
I wish you had the McKee's in there I wanted to see what that does compared to the DIY

You gotta give NXTZEN ZNR a try. Im used to ONR V4 and Absolute, and i cant tell if im being biased or not, but man.. ZNR seems sick. The slickness is insane, at first i thought it was pretty of protection on the surface but nope. and its 1:1000 ratio.

Awesome video! Not sure what the other videos were trying to prove. All those products work but like you stated it’s all what you want out of a product. I used ONR and wondered why my wash media always looked dirty. Since will I started using DIY, absolute, and OP eco wash I get a slicker feeling and cleaner wash mitts.
Appreciate you watching
So ONR would make a better waterless wash than a rinseless wash, since everything will flow down when you spray it on
Not sure what you mean
Well I was thinking of using the product as a waterless wash. I thought that fact that ONR encapsulates rather than emulsifies makes it better as a waterless wash since I won't have to "wipe" as much after. I figure that just like the dirt in the cup, the dirt from the car will just "roll down". With the other products the dirt might break down but it will remain there, similar to how it remained floating in the cup. Might be wrong though, idk much about this stuff.
Your wife goes to use that spoon later.. Why does this smell like Apple Dirt? lol Great test brother! I love it!
Oh I didn’t even think about it
Thanks for answering the bat signal Eddie. I personally use N914 since it cleans the sponge thoroughly before I go back to contact the paint. Basically does what DIY more or less showed.
I did buy some Absolute just to try something new. Keep being our #fakedetailer hero
N914 would of done the same cleaning
@@Ecdetailsso does it matter if I go with DIY detail or N914 ? What do you recommend between those 2 ?
No Rinse is best product on market. Put much more fine dirt there, not just coarse sand. This is what shows which shampoo encapsulates. Because soap needs to be rinsed off. These shampoos should not contain any surfactants. As you can see, not everyone can do it.
Have you ever tried the others? Old Not Relevant is the one that cleans the least.
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 I have all these shampoos, including absolute. Only No Rinse and absolute work properly. This shampoo was created so that there was no soap in it, and now someone can't do the same and is telling people nonsense that it is OK together with soap. Of course, you can always add no rinse to a foaming shampoo to soften the water, but then you should rinse it off.
Dirt is dirt bro cars in different areas of the world gets sand, coarse dirt pollen etc - now it’s the dirts fault? Come on haha
Awesome video bro with correct comparisons. Would you be willing to run this test back but include Mckee’s and that new stuff from ADS that isn’t released yet? That stuff cleaned your towel like crazy in one of your newer videos when you tested out griots. Would be interesting for sure

Great video Eddie!
Why would you not try their test to just to see what you find

oh snap let's gooooooooooo
I think what is happening is the marketing mumbo jumbo is really messing people up. Everybody needs to find what works for them in their business or personal life and just go with it! I noticed that the dilution ratio in a video I saw and in all examples was not a proper dilution. I think a lot of manufacturers of these types of products have all said more is not better.
Bingo!

DIY detail is GOATED
For those that are rinseless nuts this isn't surprising. This is what we see in real life. I use V3 for my car when it's pretty clean and I want that classic feel but DIY is to me the best rinseless wash on the market. I do like Absolute as a drying aid because i think its a little slicker but DIY Detail Rinseless is simply epic.
I agree that Absolute is a bit slicker even under the sponge and when drying. DIY cleaning is great though.
@@Newyen6MT yes the cleaning ability of DIY is unmatched which is why I use it. It's definitely plenty slick also. I am on my 3rd gallon of it and I'm only washing 5 cars on a regular basis. Even if it's really nice out and I decide to use soap I will spray DIY, let it dwell and rinse before I go to the foam cannon. Particularly on coated cars you can watch the dirt slide off the panels.
Absolute is a great product too but for me it's a drying aid. I use it at an ounce per gallon, so 128-1, in a 32 ounce spray bottle. Smells great and doesn't leave any residue behind.
If you're into trying things, try P&S Defender on a dried car. I'm not a big Bead Maker guy but the gloss from Defender is great. If you let it sit an hour and then come back with P&S Dream Maker that combo is about as glossy as I've ever gotten my car without a high end wax. The Defender won't last the 6 months they claim but honestly I'm using it every couple washes so it's irrelevant to me. Not that it's all that critical in my circumstances given I am not running a business but you can get a gallon of it for like $40 too so the value is on point.
@@user-ci2xg7rq5y I don’t use other toppers beside Armour Detail Amplify for their coating. Just tryna find a way to reactivate and clean the clogged coating during the winter. DIY recommended using their water spot remover after the Rinseless wash. But then you’d have to rinse again which doesn’t make sense. Once winter is over or it’s warmer, I’m gonna bring the hose out and foam it with Adam’s Graphene to break down the film and to get the coating clean again so it beads
These results speak for themselves.. Great video Eddie!
Thanks my guy
I use Owners Pride or Ammo Frothe to pretreat panels and then I use Griots or ONR in the bucket. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

@@Ecdetails RIP. I still have about 12oz left I use on special occasions 😂🥴
We need allot more of these testings being done but the reason why the two best products are doing so well is because they of the newest chemicals. I’m sure the rinseless products of other brands have to step up with the newest chemicals. Also, most brands are using outside blender may not be doing any any in house research and development to come out with something original could be a problem with testing against other brands. I would definitely choose the two leading brands in this video but it’s best to get rid of the products we have an learn a work around method to the dirt in the bucket problem. I also use rinseless wash products and the microfiber method. What I do is use a pump sprayer with a rinseless wash a spray off as much dirt a see if that method can emulsify the dirt before taking the micro fiber and rinseless wash to the vehicle. It’s good enough for me .
For me the point wash who cares about a “clean bucket “ can it clean my wash media cause all of them claim that we can use what every wash media we want and does it break down dirt that last piece is what is important , I want to pre spray a car let it go to work and then start my cleaning process

I get what you are saying and its clear that ONR does not release dirt easily from the cloth. Ive seen that for myself when using. I usually use multiple cloths per car to combat the problem. Let me suggest another very important factor to the science behind rinseless. Does ONR stop the dirt particles from scratching the paint more than the others? That is the ONR claim to fame, that it wraps a protective polymer bubble around the dirt so it does not scratch the paint. How would we test this? Perhaps a polished dark colored hood and drag some equal weighted foam blocks over with each solution and see which product leaves the least/most scratches?
Your test is wild , would make sense I believe at the time of onr reign it could claim it wasn’t a lot out there they lead the way others came and ran with it
Great work the only thing missing was owners pride eco wash wasn’t playing in this test😂💯👊🏼
Eco wash was like nah it won’t be fair
@@Ecdetails 😂👊🏼
I dunno…the first 3 dont look much different than plain/soapy water would so I’m not sure why that is “better”.
The point of rinseless isn’t how well it cleans your towel like a soap…it’s how well it protects your paint from the dirt being dragged across it as you’re wiping it off.
Personally I think I feel safer with the one that appears to be encapsulating and separating the dirt vs the one that looks like it’s dissolving it and creating a muddy solution.
They all encapsulate and emulsify others do a better job at breaking dirt apart hence the others look dirty
@@Ecdetailshow would you compare DIY detail to N914 ?
Also can DIY detail and N914 be used as drying aids ?
I saw one of those videos you referenced; first thought was that wasn’t real world. Similar to torture tests. I appreciate the real world test, or as close as real world you can get.

Road to 3K 🎉 is near!
Appreciate you ! And we hit 3k
ONR is an older product, is the same guy behind ONR and DIY
No. Different chemists. Different owners.
No very different in every way.
Dude, try both it’s like saying the same guy is behind the Renault 5 and Audi RS4
congratulations for 3000+ subscribers! I still remember when I didn't win the giveaway for 1000
Haha 😂
You nailed it on this experiment.
Thanks for watching
This test setup in favor for diy. After he soiled towel, washed only the diy four times with his thumb to mechanically get most of the dirt off the rag. The others he did not. Plus, point of rinseless wash is to soak the towel with rinseless wash and/or spray it on the dirt to encapsulated it so that towel soaked with rinseless wash will prevent encapsulated dirt from lodging into the towel and falls off in the bucket. The dirt should not be rubbed and caked on the towel physically lodging the particles in the fibers, making the weaker encapsulating forces to overcome physical barriers. I think a proper test should recreate real world situation by soaking the towel first and glide over a dirty panel or lightly sprinkle dirt on the towel and see how the dirt is released. Regardless, the other video where suspension of dirt showing clear pushing of suspended particles out of clear onr liquid unlike the other clearly shows it's ability to encapsulate/push away dirt. How that translates to cleaner panels against products with surfactants is different question. But at what cost? Possible marring?
Can we both agree every cup test we saw this weekend is fake news ? How you test it is using in the real world on dirt suspended on a car , right ? If that’s the case I’ve done like 10’video showing the above appreciate you watching
@@Ecdetails Tests can always be setup to highlight certain aspects to bias results or conclusions. You see it all the time in medical studies. One has to look at any tests with a critical eye. But, even still, some biased info is better than none. More tests the better to make your own conclusions.
@@sasemedia I do I want to try your way in part 2 in the future seems plausible
he rubbed the dirt on the onr rag the least, so I think it was in favor of onr:)
@@CVMarius He eye balled how much he put on each. He spilled some on each as he rubbed it in. Some on the table and the ground. With fold hindering the view, it's difficult to determine exactly how much dirt was applied or how hard they were rubbed. Even if onr was less soiled, washing the diy towel four times constitutes much bigger advantage against once for the other 3. Plus, the point should really be how clean the car is without scratching the paint. Surfactants in all 3 except for onr which is purely polymer based will probably clean the towel the best and maybe even the car. But will it cause micro marring more, having much less polymers. This test really doesn't address how clean the car would be or how safe it is on the clear coat. It only measures how clean the towel is and assumes, if the towel is cleaner, then it be encapsulated to the bottom of the bucket. But that's not necessarily the case. Most dirt just naturally sinks to the bottom, due to its density. The other youtuber video clearly shows onr having a thick layer of presumably polymers that push down even the intermediate dense dirt in suspension. The other two shows only thin clear layer of probable polymers and rest of volume in suspension. We know surfactants clean well but do these new products protect the paint well enough with much less polymers. Maybe they do. Maybe they don't. I would probably sacrifice cleaning power over paint protection. I would like to know.

Appreciate you watching
Thank you bro, I honestly had a bottle of ONR in my cart and cancelled it after watching this. Right now we just moved and my gallon of DIY rinseless is held hostage by pods in Omaha. I am going to get a small bottle of DIY to get back on my rinseless zen. ❤
Bro appreciate you watching and onr v5 isn’t bad just not the greatest
@@Ecdetails I heard that, I am just saying you helped me level set and not get drawn into the hype. I already had a good thing, and there are shops here where I can get p&s locally. I don't need to order anything just top up and enjoy my wash process!
Imo, that's why you use Black Sponge with ONR. Dirt will come off a lot easier when you dump it.
I use all sponges
In Michigan, we would never use a Rinseless water . Vehicles get trashed with road salt, etc. Plus, it's crazy how detailers trash each other. Do one with just water.
I’m in Michigan and I almost exclusively rinseless wash. If it’s ultra caked on I’ll stop at the pay and spray and give it a quick, but honestly I can get away with a rinseless pre spray if there isn’t a huge amount of grit. Happy to give you a few oz of diy and onr if you are in SE Mi.
What you mean trash each other ?
