Border Track Trip Day 2 Part 2 - Soft Sand & Dunes

Continuing on from our lunch stop in the last video, we hit more soft sand and dunes finding a nice big sand dune area for some fun with the vehicles before heading on to the big rodeo dune.
We end the day at Red Bluff Camp Ground where we settle in for the night and a feast (snags in bread like you've never seen) courtesy of Dan, from Out There With Dan.

Like you said, perhaps should’ve let our tyre pressures down, would’ve been nice to play around with that at the time.

Yeah and that's with stock exhaust, imagine if I get a custom 3" or something :-) Yeah lower pressures would have helped I think for sure and sticking with 3rd maybe as well, in low range. Another time. Had fun that's the main thing!

Hi mate. Awesome series really enjoying it. Me and a mate are planning to drive up into New South Wales doing the Darling river run to Renmark then doing the border track. We are planning to do it in July August. What are your thoughts on the time of year. PS we’re coming up from Tasmania.

Thx mate appreciate the feedback, glad you're enjoying it. We did part of the Border Track in June, if you look back on the channel you'll see those videos, I think one is Flooded Desert as the thumbnail. In winter, lot more water around and it's cooler so the sand is firmer to drive on. You will hit some mud though. Enjoy the trip!
