My old flight instructor sees my terrible x-wind landing! C182 biz day trip Dunks - Enstone

- My worst landing this year! A day flight for a return business trip from Dunkeswell to Enstone and back.
Two flights, two take-offs, two landings. One awful landing in a strong cross wind with rotors, should have gone around. My original flight instructor who helped me get my PPL was watching when I landed, embarrassing!
The other landing on the way home also a strong crosswind - can I do it better this time?
I also reflect on the unexpected benefits of aircraft ownership v rental or shared ownership.
Apologies for the poorly-synced SkyDemon footage on the return approach to Dunkeswell.

Another excellent production I thought Charlie, I enjoyed it anyway 👍. That's a nice looking aircraft, are you considering changing to a 'G' plate?
I can't change it to a G plate, there's no European STC for this STOL conversion sadly!

Love the vids, i can hear Todd Peterson saying something like "geez you came in fast then" the crosswind was ok it was the speed in that tricked you
