Hi John, Both are a 4+ IMO! Cool :) Just one idea for you. I think it would help if you could measure the amount of powder/pearl when adding it to the clear. "A" has a set of measuring spoons that range from 1/16th tsp to 1 tbsp. for $17. I did a little research and used powdered sugar as "base". 1/16 tsp=.25g, 1/8tsp=.5g, 1/4tsp=1g, 1/2tsp=2g. Just like when you say 28psi and 1.3mm tip. Then it's up to us to go from there. If you said, I put 1/8tsp of pearl in the 5 oz of clear we could use that as a starting point. THANKS!!

4.3 on both, I didn't expect purple over the black but it looks good. Really like it over magenta.
As always, 5 on the black base. The magenta just isn't my thing, so 4 . You keep this up and I just might try my hand at painting my project car!

Take some time and atleast explain the amounts of what your mixing and in between times of spraying.

LOL, how thick is the paint on that fender? I know you've said not to use the Majic Clear from Tractor Supply bacause there is no UV protection. If you use it like a binder or inner coat for the pearls and top it with a 2K clear for protection you think that would be ok?
Didn't expect it to turn purple. Funny how the base colors make such a big difference.
Very thick lol and I wouldn't recommend using the magic clear and the 2K clear because one is a lacquer base clear and the others of Urethane base they will prob react

I'm showing everyone different color combinations I'm not really concentrating on making the fender dead nuts perfect that would be kind of pointless but I'm just going to redo it over and over with different colors but thanks for watching

Did you ever see the very first episode of Rust-Oleum custom mix back in November of last year? It was pretty cool it was gray with a black metal Pearl and it had a really nice gun metal silver to it check that out but yeah I will be doing many more combinations with silver in the future so stay tuned

@@JasonWelchMusicI know from experience a white sparkle ghost Pearl over a grey base looks amazing! Silvers make it look like a Gunmetal metallic. A white ghost sparkle looks grey until light hits it and then it just look like the same color grey as the basecoat but with a nice sparkle.
Do you have a video with gray with a purple pearl over it? I am trying to mimic something similar to my Toyota's stock color.
