In 2018 I had gotten a bit bored with music and then I found this and Lo-Fi, synthwave, and vaporwave. Music became fun and inspirational again, more than ever before.

I think that that is one of the great things about Vaporwave: artists will sample songs, potentially re-imagining them into something a wholly different audience can enjoy, or, make people aware of the original songs and genres that are at the base of those new versions they enjoy. It just adds to the richness of music that genre-based generation won't inherently achieve.
I don't care what genre this is. I don't care how i got here. I don't care if it's meant to be listened to ironically. All I do know is I like this. I like it a lot. Almost too much.

well tbh 80s/90 anime in Future Funk makes sense, since a lot of the future funk songs are remixed 70s/80s/90s songs from Japan so I mean it makes sense

Vinesauce Obscurities true, I think a lot of the stuff on artzie music is just over using old anime, I personally dont mind some of it because I just love old anime art style, whether its characters designs, cities, music, I like it more than most anime out today so I don't mind it, but it is getting over used and I think the quality of future funk, the sound of it, isn't as good as before.
As much as I adore this song, your video absolutely elevates that feeling of nostalgia for a time I've never experienced. It completes aesthetic of the song and just makes me feel genuinely happy everytime I listen to it. Thank you
