    I made my own donkwa finally. Thanks for your recipe. I had others but when I saw your, I knew it was the perfect recipe. It came out perfectly. Next time I will grind with your kind of grinder to get the powder because my corn did not grind well with my dry grinder. Apart from that, it tasted like the donkwa I used to eat in Jos.

      Thanks. I am glad it turned out okay and taste perfect. Let me suggest another method to having a finer corn flour. First blend it in the regular blender, then use the dry grinder to get a finer grind. You can use the wet blender to blend dry food without adding water. Enjoy!

      @@omoharry2173 You are welcome. I just realized that roasted groundnut sold in bottles are always salted. That means that you don't have to add salt to your dankwa. But if is not salty enough for you, feel free to add salt. A little salt in dankwa goes a long way because it is not supposed to be salty but it should be sweet and spicy. So I do not think you need to add salt if you are using the roasted groundnut in bottle. Please let me know how it turns out.

    • @SpicyDeliciousGoodness
      @SpicyDeliciousGoodness  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks for pointing it out. Dankwa is more common and popular on the TH-cam and so I have to use what people are more familiar with. In order to put people's minds at ease (someone already complained about it), I have added dakuwa to the title so that everyone is happy. Thanks for watching.

    • @SpicyDeliciousGoodness
      @SpicyDeliciousGoodness  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@fatimahali8693 There is nothing wrong in educating or correcting people if need be. There is a reason for using the word that more people are familiar with. Let me give you an example. I am a Deltan and I see a lot of people (food content creators) spell our popular soup (Oghwo soup) wrongly and those wrong spellings are more recognized than the correct one. In that case, there is no need to try to correct them because the algorithm accepts the wrong spelling as the normal. Guess what? Many Deltan food creators just use the wrong spelling so that their video can pop up when people search for owo, ogwho or owho soup. That is the situation here.

      Madam, most people know it as dankwa and besides it has other names. Some people call it dankwa, donkwa adaakwa, tanfiri, tafiri, dzowoe, uloka and even dakkuwa. If you only call it dakuwa, keep calling it that. When people search for it, they usually type dankwa.
