It depends on the individual and I can only comment on my own experience. Arguably, Oxford attracts people who put pressure on themselves to achieve high standards, so some of it is self-imposed. I would probably myself into that category. The tutors push you academically - this is Oxford after all! It's the perception of the individual whether that push is a positive or negative thing. This will vary from situation to situation - I think it's mostly constructive, but obviously there's a fine line between being pushed and being pushed too hard.
@@Oxcentric another question, does oxford seem quite isolating, I'd imagine it'd be quite hard to make friends considering covid.. and intense work load

Did you have to go to college first
Nope. The college system in Oxford is different from the US system. It’s a community you are belong to while you’re studying your degree.
Hertford (hart hall) is older, i will fight you on this. Dont ignore the best college at oxford
Yo no one thinks Hertford is the oldest...teaching at teddy hall predates the colleges (teddy is oldest 🤫)
You need to eat more bro, the wind is going to blow you over.
Edit and not just a cookie for breakfast
hahahah we were all thinking the same thing
