Dude an all caustic build for this playthrough, grenade has to be acid rain, and no slag allowed(unless it's from an ability skill/perk), characters are either Maya, or gunzerker. Spam middle finger as often as possible. I put the stinky on em playthrough.

I know you've done something similar, but "beating BL2 as Hammerlock" would be an interesting one where you're only allowed to use the Rex, Damned Cowboy, Elephant Gun and the Rough Rider
Perhaps this time he could exclude the Elephant Gun because he already used it in his second challenge run However, I didn't do an Elephant Gun run yet, so I could do this with a non-unique Slag Transfusion grenade on top of that

The reason why I ask is because these weapons are also available as part of the DLC I'll also add an additional rule where I cannot upgrade ammo, just so I have a reason to use Rex and the Damned Cowboy over the Elephant Gun.

Another co-op run idea could be 'Can you beat Borderlands 2 as a Moxxi Simp?' One element per simp with the main simp getting an element + the Creamer Kiss of Death grenades, and Moxxi's Endowement (which is useless) for the relic. As for solo, maybe a 'Can you beat Borderlands 2 as a Loot Homie' run could be fun? Stock up with Legendary/Pearl weapons before run, as well as with e-tech relics with the condition that with every death you have to drop the weapon, grenade and relic you're using and you have to use a different a different weapon. Also only one weapon, grenade, relic combo per life.
I think it was a missed opportunity to have melee krieg as the Sheriff. Thrown buzz axes are classified as pistols and so they gain the fire rate and damage bonuses. Krieg would also benefit heavily from the increased hp. Melee Krieg is very deadly to others but also himself. Bonus points for using the skill that causes teammates to damage him for extra mayhem

@@LilGasmask a law & order melee krieg playthrough would be pretty cool to watch, with slag, its what I usually used to use on my krieg even though it falls off in op mode, I would suggest using the grognozzle with it to enhance the lifesteal, alternatively grognozzle + hide of terrormorphous/captain blades rifle with 300% melee could be fun never tried that myself but the melee damage would be insane.

I always love using the sheriff's badge as well as the deputy's. Nice stat buffs for the two gun types I love the most. And I'm mainly a solo player, too.
I love the humour you added in the editing. For example when you said you had great coordination and immediately cut to a clip of you saying "I got Alyssa" while she bleeds out as you were reviving someone else.
I love all your challenge runs but it's unique and really dope to watch your group challenge runs. Normally runs are solo so seeing a full group especially since I only ever play borderlands by myself is unique and very fresh. Keep up the dope work gasmask!

22:00 that's a myth actually. A soldier would pretty easily be able to tell whether they were firing a blank by the recoil, and it was considered more humane to have everyone shoot the prisoner since they'd be more likely to die instantly

But since you in UVHM 10, it become Baby Badass Constructor 🤣, the way to trigger it, is depend on Wilhelm and how long you fight him. "Wilhelm will occasionally launch a flare with Hyperion emblem into the sky, which will summon a Constructor from the nearby wreckage to aid him in the fight." It could happend in Solo run

As a pre-sequal enjoyer (also an Aussie), I was thinking suggesting a 4 person Fragtrap RNG challenge run You get all the ACTION PACKAGEs and skills that have random elements like subroutines Equip random effect gear like Frostfire or 3DD1.E etc Looking forward to whatever challenge is next, even if it isn't Borderlands related!
Fun fact, if you’re lagging/rubber banding badly enough in BL2 you can use multiple Melee Overrides before the game processes it and puts you on cooldown. This is most notable with Maya’s slag orbs, I used to measure lag by how many orbs I could throw consecutively
Never knew constructors could spawn during wilelm. Especially not badasses. Crazy how I'm still learning about this game after thousands of hours played
I've seen normal constructors spawn in the Wilhelm fight, they only spawn if you take a really long time in the fight. I've seen them in both solo and duo play. In solo, I was farming Wilhelm and I afked after a kill and when I came back the constructor (low level) was tickling my level 50 character. In the duo run, me and my friend were playing an allegiance run, tediore Gunzerker and Jakobs Commando. That's why the fight took so long. It is also probably a sort of random spawn thing too, idk. It's a rare encounter, to be sure.
The most impressive thing is how you managed to make deputy sal - one of the highest burst damage builds around - actually not steamroll content. :D Part of the problem was probably those legendary gunzerker coms. You definitely want a com with +5 or +6 to moneyshot, along with shotguns that have a big enough mag to use it and some crit bonuses. But then the video would have been way more boring, so you made the right choice imo. :D

so just saw the loadout and builds and, this seems like a really easy challenge to be honest, 60% ffyl and 45% more health seems really good, and jacobs weapons can honestly be really good!
It’s not that I’m new to Borderlands, it’s just that I play it casually. There are very few games that I do play on the hardest setting, let alone even try discovering what that hardest setting is, because I play most games to get immersed in the story. Some games I play on an average difficulty setting due to still wanting some challenge, meanwhile others I play on the easiest difficulty just to really get a feel for the raw emotion. Notable games that I do play exclusively in harder or hardest difficulties include Dying Light 2, Rage 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Fallout 4. The first run I did for all 4 of them were all in the easiest setting. The 4 of them are also games I want to experience a gruelling challenge in, or experience a more-realistic survival experience with (Fallout 4, of course, being modded to hell and back to experience such a thing). Borderlands games, on the other hand? They’re not the most serious of games to begin with, and I’d rather have fun with them than let them become a grindfest while dealing with very-tough enemies. So I do get it, you’re putting an extreme edge on just for the speedrun’s sake - since doing that earns you serious fame in the community - but I think I’ll just play on easy or normal.
Can you beat Borderlands 2 in a Conference? You said it looked like someone snuck in a conference call so why now another run like this with everyone using conference calls? If that isn't enough of a challenge, each person has a special element: Non, fire, shock, corrosive. Or swap non for slag and that is the only way to slag. ;) You can do it, right? All of you dress Sal in MIB fashion to fit the vibe.

Imagine trying to beat every borderlands game in a row with the first world drop you get. I can imagine myself doing that since I’m a masochist like many others.
This actually just encapsulates the pure chaos of a normal 4 player co-op run with the bois and I love it. I miss the good old days of doing nothing but stupid stuff in this game.
23:06 That is an impressive number of head bounces. I think my best was 7. Though I had a couple of times that I was run bouncing on my friend's head while he was running too.
Think about it: "Can You Beat Borderlands 2 as Steve?" Blockhead, Longbow, Minecraft cosmetics. Krieg, Sal, or Zero might be good picks since they have solid melee perks. Default gear used in all your other challenges, no BAR. And you could blast Subwoofer Lullaby while taking down the Warrior.
Those baby badass constructors remind me of Dark souls 2, where there is a reoccouring character called Aldia, who was given a grandiose (read annoying) entrance where he pops out of the ground. Slight problem with that, he was added with the DLC's so the game world was already made and he had to appear in a really tiny room. Developer's solution? Just shrink him to a comically small size (the character is roughly 2.5 times your height and in that specific moment is more 0.6)
Damn that double contructors on 2ilhelm was wild never saw it before, speaking of, have you done or considered doing a bandit playthrough where you get the worst highest fire rate and biggest mag gun ?
22:00 actually only one persons weapon would have blanks but yeah it’s so they could just convince themselves they had the blanks and didn’t fire. Trauma averted, well besides the fact that you just saw someone get shot to death.
Here's an idea for a challenge if you aren't sick of the Pre-Sequel: Can you beat TPS with only Wilhelm's Cyber Commando skills? Basically, you can only deal damage with the Power Fist, Termination Protocols, and Vengeance Cannon, as well as using Wolf & Saint if you'd like or if the challenge is too hard without them.

That buzzaxe throwing speed is pretty nice. I was using a bandit firerate relic on an allegiance run and the throw speed you can achieve is crazy
I want to see all the DLC done with this setup.

Borderlands 2 has to be one of my most played games of all time, great video man
It’s not that I’m new to Borderlands, it’s just that I play it casually. There are very few games that I do play on the hardest setting, let alone even try discovering what that hardest setting is, because I play most games to get immersed in the story. Some games I play on an average difficulty setting due to still wanting some challenge, meanwhile others I play on the easiest difficulty just to really get a feel for the raw emotion.
Notable games that I do play exclusively in harder or hardest difficulties include Dying Light 2, Rage 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Fallout 4. The first run I did for all 4 of them were all in the easiest setting. The 4 of them are also games I want to experience a gruelling challenge in, or experience a more-realistic survival experience with (Fallout 4, of course, being modded to hell and back to experience such a thing).
Borderlands games, on the other hand? They’re not the most serious of games to begin with, and I’d rather have fun with them than let them become a grindfest while dealing with very-tough enemies. So I do get it, you’re putting an extreme edge on just for the speedrun’s sake - since doing that earns you serious fame in the community - but I think I’ll just play on easy or normal.
Can you beat Borderlands 2 in a Conference? You said it looked like someone snuck in a conference call so why now another run like this with everyone using conference calls? If that isn't enough of a challenge, each person has a special element: Non, fire, shock, corrosive. Or swap non for slag and that is the only way to slag. ;) You can do it, right? All of you dress Sal in MIB fashion to fit the vibe.

In the decade this games been out Ive never seen or even heard about the baby constructors before. I wonder what causes them.
Now i Ask you: can the robolution defeat borderlands the presequel? Rules are four Fragtrap with only the skill of the Blue Tree and only white gear
Think about it: "Can You Beat Borderlands 2 as Steve?" Blockhead, Longbow, Minecraft cosmetics. Krieg, Sal, or Zero might be good picks since they have solid melee perks. Default gear used in all your other challenges, no BAR. And you could blast Subwoofer Lullaby while taking down the Warrior.
The Bloodwing rivalry score is at 5-3 now, since I guess nobody's keeping track anymore 🙄

Those baby badass constructors remind me of Dark souls 2, where there is a reoccouring character called Aldia, who was given a grandiose (read annoying) entrance where he pops out of the ground.
Slight problem with that, he was added with the DLC's so the game world was already made and he had to appear in a really tiny room.
Developer's solution? Just shrink him to a comically small size (the character is roughly 2.5 times your height and in that specific moment is more 0.6)
I feel like everyone should have had the Aequitas shield, or Order. And the sheriff should have had Law pistol.
Oh well, still very cool playthrough.

I’ve did a bandit allegiance Krieg and he’s gotten to OP7 so far. It’s pretty fun but definitely hard.
22:00 actually only one persons weapon would have blanks but yeah it’s so they could just convince themselves they had the blanks and didn’t fire. Trauma averted, well besides the fact that you just saw someone get shot to death.

Can you beat TPS with only Wilhelm's Cyber Commando skills?
Basically, you can only deal damage with the Power Fist, Termination Protocols, and Vengeance Cannon, as well as using Wolf & Saint if you'd like or if the challenge is too hard without them.
