The kit come with 4 stainless washers. Use 2 on each side and it will space the stock abs sensors perfectly. Also you can use the stock 3S strut with out drilling em out.
depends on the camber bolts u use but yea. i wanted to use the evo camber bolts to have a tight fit. i didnt use the washers cause i ddnt have abs sensors to put back in them at the time.
I know this is a 4 year old video, but I have to ask why you would switch to the EVO IX aftermarket coilover? The weight difference between the VR4 and EVO IX seems like the valving and spring rate would be all wrong.
3000gt doesn't have multi-ink suspension from the factory ? Why they used mcpherson ? I must to laugh when i see it because my 1997 Eclipse have multi ink in front and in rear ...
Can I maintain my front KW v3 coilovers with the EVO 8 conversion? And is it possible to move the front brakes to the rear instead of using the evo stuff, since I have to remove the front hubs/knuckles?
sorry for the late replay, you could retain those would have to just drill the holes out to allow the bigger bolts from the Evo8/9 knuckle to go through.
The knuckles are. I also heard you can use the Evo x knuckles. The shocks you don’t have to. You can use 3000gt ones just have to make the hole bigger to allow for the bigger bolt to match the knuckle.
You selling the old calipers?

Great video! Quick question, did you custom fabricate those front fenders? If not where did you find them, they look great. Nice car.
Great job! Fitting 19" wheels to my 3000GT, so the stock calipers/rotors will look tiny.
I will price up Evo calipers/Rotors
Did you change the rotors on the rear

So Evo 8 9 coilovers fit a 3000gt both front and rear?
Any ideas on wheel fitment for the big brake upgrade? having a hard time finding a wheel that will fit.
18" and up
What brake lines did you use? Is there a conversion required as per chrome ECU website. Were spacers required for the rear brakes?
sorry for the late replay we used evo X brake lines.
Was it a specific set? I used the 3sx one but they're very tight
Any gen EVO knuckles, arms, tie rods fit the front/rear than what you mentioned? Hard to find much info about this online with good credibility
not sure if any other model evo knuckles or arms will work.
@@salvagedmotorsports1158 Thanks for the reply man, cool build you've got there

It has double wishbone which is better than your Eclipse set up.
Evo 8/9 knuckles fit the 3kgt axle shaft?
also
since not using the rear evo rotors, is it necessary to cut the rear dust shield?
yes evo 8/9 knuckles fit the 3kgt axle shaft. yes you have to trim it alittle to fit the caliper not as much as i did though.

Are evo 8 front knucles and shocks a must to install the evoX calipers?

@@salvagedmotorsports1158are the front evox rotors the same size as the rear evox rotors you wanted to install?
