What I respect most about Mohamed Hijab is his ability to humble himself when he’s wrong and his frequent self criticism. It’s difficult to do as a normal person with an ego so it’s impressive to see in an influencer. May Allah bless him and all of us Ameen.

@williambarylo perhaps that's biased by the algorithm. Mistakes made in striving for that behaviour become amplified by millions of sensation views as shaytaan clutches at straws to sew division in our ummah. As you showed with his charity work, everything contentious is amplified. Since he's active every day, and people are still citing the same few examples, I'd say that's an indicator of a pretty clean record.

Mohammed Hijab was the reason why I slowly gave up porn, started a routine and daily dairy on my life, Quran recitation every morning and the memorisation of it, became more physically active, and learn more secular knowledge. He may be very dramatic which I sometimes dislike but he has more good then bad. May Allah keep us steadfast in the Deen inshallah

Where he really grinded my gears is his angry appeal for a mosque in Norway.
'They are taking children away from families, let's build a mosque!'
How is that going to help the parents who lost their children?!
Living in a city with a mosque in every street, THAT'S HOW THE GOVERNMENT CONTROLS THE MUSLIMS!!
Muslims know this from their countries of origin, yet they copy the same systems they fled.
When your civil rights are being abused you need lawyers and advocates who will speek for you not mosques the government controls

yep i myself have noted the same that his martial arts techniques influence his debating style. He is rough and sometimes it is justified. the childhood part reminds me of umar (r .a). he was treated rough by his father and in adulthood he was very fierce against enemies of Islam even in the presence of Rasoolullah (s a w).the wisdom is applying that smartly. for views, videos on his sapience institute education initiative channel don't get as much views, likes, or comments. they had to lay off some staff this year due to lack of funds.he has also authored some books too. this shows that he is really interested in educating muslims. but we have other priorities, i surmise. I LOVE him for sake of Allah and binged watched your videos when i found your channel some days back. btw your video also manifests that same paradox of what the audience wants you to analyze and what should be preferred to be analyze. I believe your videos wont get that much attention when you try to make videos on ''boring education'' or ''boring research work''.

I don't think it's about "paying the bills" for him, it's a bit presumptuous to assume that. It is a deliberate strategy to attract the tiktok generation. We can lament and moralize about the sad state of affairs of people today, but there's a need for combating these things and for making the Islamic narrative competitive in terms of reach. Yes, it might not be the most pedagogically sound method, but it's better for people to be entertained by a content that carries a sound Islamic message than by all the disgusting garbage that exists out there. Then, if Allah gives His barakah, this entertainment may lead people to a better state.

And guess where his weakness lies, true Christian Islamic debates and I understand his dilemma, it is not that he does not have the answers it's just that the arguments available are too weak.
Islam is a difficult faith to really defend if you are faced with an opponent that knows it well, there are just to many "holes" in it to defend the faith....proof it's not God sent, that's why it needs hundreds of hadiths but even these fall short, exposing the faith as man-made.

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said:

📌 The story of the Jew who used to throw his trash at the doorstep of the Prophet ﷺ is not true.
My dear brothers and sisters, anyone who wants to build their religious knowledge on a solid foundation should perform a database "formatting" to get rid of some "tenets" of religion they were taught at a young age, which turn out to be untrue.
One such widespread story is that of the Jew who used to throw his daily trash at the doorstep of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ would then remove the trash and go on his way until one day, the Prophet ﷺ did not find any trash. He asked about the Jew and was told that he was sick. The Prophet ﷺ visited him, and the Jew was so touched he converted to Islam.
This story is baseless; I'm not saying it is "a weak ḥadīth", but a 'baseless' one, which means no true scholar of ḥadīth has ever narrated it.
Moreover, the story is untrue because:
    1) The Prophet ﷺ only mixed with Jews in Madīnah, where he ﷺ was the leader of the Muslims, while the Jews were plotting against Islam secretly in humiliation and disgrace. Therefore, none of them would have dared do such an act (i.e. throwing trash at his doorstep).
    2) Even if a Jew did throw trash on the doorstep of the Prophet, ﷺ how can we believe that his Companions would let the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ remove it himself? This would have been at odds with the Companions' reverence for the Prophet ﷺ.
    3) This story is narrated as an example of the tolerance of the Prophet ﷺ. However, this is not tolerance but weakness; far be the Messenger of Allāh from it.
Tolerance is with those who occasionally misbehave, like the man who pulled the Prophet ﷺ from his garment and said: "Give me, O Muhammad."
But for a wicked Jew to trash the Prophet's doorstep on a daily basis while the Prophet silently removes it every day, is a weakness beneath the Prophet's status ﷺ.
Again: If the story's narration were authentic, we would search for an interpretation, but the story is utterly baseless.
On the website 'Islamqa', we find:
"We draw attention here to an addition that is widely circulated among people nowadays, that this neighbor of the Prophet ﷺ was harming him ﷺ, and that he used to place garbage and thorns in his way.
The truth is that this addition has no origin in the books of Sunnah, nor was it mentioned by any scholars. However, it has become well-known among current da'ees, despite its lack of authenticity or chain of transmitters.
A Muslim, by default, should only take what's deemed authentic by the scholars, especially as the story at hand is unsound."
So, brothers and sisters! Fear Allāh regarding the biography of the beloved Prophet ﷺ. By Allāh, we have no excuse as the means to gauge the authenticity or weakness of narrations are widespread and easily accessible.
The authentic tradition/hadith suffices and removes the need to quote false and fabricated ḥādīths. Authentic ḥādīths about the Prophet's forbearance and his forgiveness are numerous and easy to extract from the authentic books of ḥadīth.
Do not circulate this mindset among our children: "If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other!" It's a mindset we should not attribute to the Prophets, as it is beneath their status.
I hope that whoever reads these words shares them to clear the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ from the [fabrications] attributed to it.
Peace and mercy of Allāh be upon you.

    Ask Hijab this:
If Muhammed couldn’t and didn't describe GOD and the Quran doesn't describe who GOD is, how can anybody know, let alone the Muslims?
    Proof?
Answer this simple question: You Muslims tell us that we worship the same GOD? Is that true? What you need to establish is: Who/What is GOD? So the question is: Describe GOD? Describe GOD? No Names! No Attributes! No Miracles! No History! What HE has or hasn't done! Can or can't do! Will or won't do! Using the Quran and the Bible only, write down the title, chapter and verse only. No Text. No Explanations. No commentaries! Describe GOD? Describe GOD? e.g. John ??:??, Sura ??:?? Et al.
For more than twenty five years I have asked this question with no proper response, and when they did answer it was exactly what a drater< would say, nothing remotely close to what the question asks?
The Muslims can answer the question, but they won’t. Why not?
There are many facets to the question, meet all the criteria. If I could have done it, so can any and everybody else do it!

For theological questions, I'd suggest you post on a theology channel. Lots of people here don't even care whether there's a god or not

@@williambarylo Firstly thanks for the response. Point taken. When I read all the comments and responses I see your post flooded with theology. For sure Hijab presents himself as a debater. Ask him to debate Christian Prince via TH-cam for the world to see. O, I forgot he once tried, but was an absolute flop. He ran like deer being chased predator. Shame, poor Hijab

I know hijab personally he doesn't need to humble himself at all everyone is their own character and that's what makes him himself, whoever says otherwise is jealous that he's the TH-camr and they are the watchers he's making a lot of halal money and they are not. Peace❤
