For 50 years I have prayed in Jesus's name and had many prayers answered! My Jesus knows who I mean when I cry out for him to rescue me. He rescued me from trafficking to a satanic cult by my parents.

I to have received confirmation through God's grace a sign given to wash away any doubt in me when I found the truth. I prayed and repented in the name of Jesus Christ and was given a sign in the heavens the day my heart of stone was made flesh. If Jesus wasn't his name I never would have received such a sign as it would of been prayers to a false idol which he is not.
You will never see a person healed or a demon cast out in the name of yeshua. This authority is in the name of Jesus Christ alone.

The appellations in the languages all refer to the same person, as known by His Hebrew, and Greek names. One thing is clear, humans are far more elaborate and fastidious in theology about God, than God is in simplicity. Just believe. I mean Iohn 3:16 is simpler than the doctrines of salvation elaborated by theologians.
So with the name, which name is correct is elaborated on. And leads to quarreling at times. Needlessly.

I've been getting attacked at night by demons on and off for over 5 years. This happens during episodes of sleep paralysis. When I am able to barely utter the mighty name of Jesus, the demons flee, just like it says in the Bible.

@rttruth i used to have the same nightmares EVERYNIGHT that became demonic attacks “sleep paralysis” I began to pray to Jesus Before bed to make sure I was protected read Ephesians 6 and psalm 23 every night until it stops! Then once you know of Jesus covering you and protecting you in your sleep! Start at John1:1 and Genesis 1:1 and read one chapter of each everyday until finished then start over! Pray everynight bro every morning for the peace of God for the protection of God and for the Mercy and Grace of God! Love

Fortunately, the Son of God, our Mesiah is not picky of how we pronounce His Name! He is ready to respond to us when we cry out to Him. Every language has its pronunciation according to its gramatic rules. I am so grateful that God is near us, and He is willing to reach to us wen we call upon Him, in need!

As a young teenager I called on the name of Jesus and He wonderfully transformed and renewed me. He set me free from sin and addiction. That was over 20 years ago. I have never been the same! I love the name of Jesus, I love His Hebrew name, too! I love HIM! Jesus is Lord, and whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

When I didn’t believe in Jesus but something told me to “try Jesus” bc I was demonized and tormented, I cried out to Jesus and He came to my rescue and I felt His immense love for me and I couldn’t believe it, I was like “why me? I’m just a dirty little human! I’m not worthy” I had no idea about repentance at the time, but that encounter pushed my to repentance. It was glorious.

Since God is the creator of all languages I believe that he honors the different translations of His son's name. I use both Yeshua and Jesus in my prayers. I actually love his Hebrew name. Hebrew is a beautiful language.

Right after I was saved, I started getting attacked in my sleep, I'd say "In the name of Jesus I rebuke you" and it would instantly end. One night I got attacked again and I used the name Yeshua, nothing happened, so I rebuked it/them in the name of Jesus and again in instantly stopped it.

Eph 2:8, By grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is a gift of God. These 2 young men got saved because of God's grace through faith which is also a gift from God. Jesus is derived from latin "iesus" which is derived from Greek "zeus" ...and Christ is derived from "lord krishna." That is where the Pagan name "Lord Jesus Christ" came from.
It was literally Constantine & early Roman Catholic Church, combining those followers of YESHUAH HAMASSIACH called Natsarim ("The Branch) & Paganism to make Christianity.
Some easy proof of this are holidays most Christians celebrate all having Pagan roots, and fact that they don't celebrate THE MOST HIGH'S commanded feast days for all generations like Sukkot.

I’m the only one of the 9 family members who has made a stand against the holidays including Easter because you’re right, Easter is a pagan fertility celebration, that’s why there’s an egg. My family recognizes that these things have been tampered with but they still do everything the same, except they just don’t call it Easter. Now I have a book of all the feasts and festivals of the Bible and I plan on observing Passover. My problem is how do we properly celebrate the great sacrifice of Yeshua and his birth as there is no feast or festival from the Bible to celebrate these things? My sister has young children and she doesn’t know how to make big changes in their lives so she still puts up a tree and buys presents for them, I just stay home alone and feel like I should be observing these things in some way at some time but I don’t know how.

I just had someone verbally attack me for using the name Jesus a couple days ago. Yes, Jesus. The name under which I and so many others have been saved, and from which the demons shutter and flee.

This aggravates me the most. It’s the equivalent of saying “Matthew isn’t your name, it is Mateo”. Do they not understand how languages worked? Let me put it this way. If you think you have to call Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew, or Yessua in Arabic, or whatever language, you may as well just begin speaking and praying in that language as well because you think language is important to God and that he only listens to you because you called him in Hebrew or Aramaic. I use both names too. It's a wonderful thing to see the name Joshua/Yeshua in scripture (all over the place in Hebrew). Joshua/Yeshua is the prophesied name of our Savior.

@@billie4579 Ray used several of the Ten Commandments to demonstrate the fact that those young men fall short of Abba/ Father's holy standards--as do we all, in our fallen state. The Commandments act as a sort of mirror, by which we're able to see our sinful nature/ state, which then should lead us to sincere repentance and belief in Jesus' death and resurrection.

I attend a Messianic congregation and mostly use the name Yeshua when discussing, praying, and teaching in that context because my audience knows Who I am referring to, but I agree with you, Ray. When I speak of the Savior to people outside of my church I pretty much only refer to Him as Jesus, as the name "Yeshua" is fairly obscure, and I want to make certain the person I'm talking to knows I'm referring to the Divine Son of God. There is no more power in the name Yeshua than in the name Jesus. What's important is knowing Him as the only savior who died in the place of sinners and is the sinner's only hope of salvation. In September of 2022 I was targeted by a demon that pulled me down my bed. (I had hours before disassembled an antique musical doll that had an upside-down cross on its forehead when I bought it. I had, however, hated the inverted cross & painted over it.) I had stayed up all night & went to bed about 5am. At about 7am, I felt something messing with my blankets. I was home alone so I immediately opened my eyes. It was daylight, and I saw nothing. So I shut my eyes again & pretended to be asleep to see if it would happen again, as I have had paranormal things happen my entire life. Soon after I feel big hands start to wrap around my calves & they are trying to get under my legs. As soon as I open my eyes again...this thing is yanking me down my bed. I scream in my mind "JESUS HELP ME!" and immediately I was released. I saw nothing visible to my eye while this was happening...but Jesus fights for those who know him. I never stop praying for protection because these demonic entities lay dormant just waiting for their next opportunity. This one did just that when it tried again last year. I quite literally have a super soaker filled with Holy Water from the Jordan River in my house, lol ...I'm not playing with this thing that God gave us authority over. I refuse to let it scare me, no matter how unnerving these experiences are.

Ray, i want to thank the Almighty God for using you in a major way. last year, June 2022, i saw the video you did with the young lady "watch the Holy Spirit work in her heart" or something to that effect. i was deeply moved and was listening to you present the gospel to the young lady and i too being a young lady followed along on your questions feeling so prideful thinking "of course I'm a good person" (failed horribly at all the questions regarding the 10 commandments) then when you presented the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sins; i felt extremely convicted, began sobbing uncontrollably, repented and surrendered to Jesus Christ. i have never been the same since. September of last year i bought my first bible, diving into and learning the Word, told my husband what happened who at the time proclaimed he was "agnostic" shared the gospel with him and all of the evidence of the Lord (which is all around us) and now his hardened heart has been softened to the Word of God and now believes in Jesus. we are sharing the same with our child. i was baptized almost a month ago in a beautiful lake, all the glory to God! I'm sharing the gospel with co workers and friends and sounding the alarm that He is coming back. i pray that the seeds that have been planted in their hearts comes to fruition. God wants no one to perish. on judgment day you want to be found blameless and go into heaven! dont send yourself to hell by rejecting Jesus because His Word says: "Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord." God is a just judge and only He knows our hearts. He does not desire to send anyone to hell, we send ourselves there by rejecting Him and not obeying Him. Repent and believe the good news which is the gospel!

Although we should be very careful when using /referring to names as the enemy can deceive people, God knows who we refer to when we pray in Jesus’ name, I think that is what is more important than trying to break your head to find the original name of Jesus which even the Hebrew scripture could not exactly identify due to limitation of vowels/letters. I think what is important is it is at least close to what is believed to be the original. Plus the fact that we are English speakers and it is easy to understand and it is not very far from the Greek translation too.
All we can do is continue to pray for our brothers and sisters and for the unbelievers some people will believe Jesus has many different names and does not consider Jesus as as his real name it’s upsetting because now many new believers are getting confused!
God split our language at Babel. At Pentacost, the Lord gave His followers the ability to be understood in every tongue. Jesus is Lord of the Word. He has shown us that a word is not a sound, but a meaning, and when we use the name Jesus, we mean: Lord, Savior, Son of God, King of kings, Creator, Sacred Lamb, He who is risen, I AM.
People say the name of Jesus instead of Buddha, Mohammad , etc. when swearing because it's the only name that carries any POWER.

How unfortunate that there is such a spirit of contention among believers, all of whom have differing experiences and understanding. I pray we will all study to show ourselves approved and be blessed by the Holy Spirit to embrace His will before our own and thereby cease to quarrel among ourselves. Amazingly I was recently drawn to use the name Yeshua in reference to Jesus. Something in me felt a desire to try to say His name as it was once spoken. This video has opened my eyes to the power of His name spoken as Jesus. The Lord guides us when we least expect it. Thank you Ray for all you do. You inspire and lift others in turning to and living a life with Jesus.

Repentance is not stopping your sin. You cannot stop your sin. That’s why we need Jesus. If you could stop sitting on your own, then Jesus would not have needed to come down here and die for our sins.
Still struggling, im not as bad as i once one but still make mistakes. Im tired, so tired of it. Trying to not let it bring down but it gets so difficult. Dont quench the Holy Spirit and do your best to sin no more, there is a difference between willing sinning with no conviction and doing your hardest not to sin and overcoming it. But the Bible was translated from Latin, if you read the KJV, Greek and Hebrew if you read Amplified. What names do you think were in the Latin, Greek and Hebrew Bibles? What name do you think is in the Etheopian Bible, which is even older than the KJV? Hint: It's not Jesus, which is English. The original versions of the Bible didn't use the English name "Jesus" they used their languages versions of the name Jesus. English is not a superior language.
Many “believers” are indeed deceived. Jesus while he was alive and performed miracles and taught the Gospels was worshipped by people and he always told them NOT to worship me for there’s only ONE father only ONE God and I am His son. ☦️🙏
