I've been using Suno Ai for music/songs for a while now, find it much better than Udio. Updates are constant and frequent, would also say always useful. What bothers me sometimes is that I can't create certain types of sounds the way I want but I think soon this will be easier/and or possible. Thank you very much for your video, I have only just discovered it.
Hm! The crop feature is convenient, but it's pretty easy to download the mp3 and crop the song in Audacity. I was personally hoping to crop my favorite part of a song and then inpaint around it. Udio's had this feature for a year so hopefully Suno will eventually integrate something like this too.
@@jvlbme Ah, but when you extend a song, you can select the exact time you'd like to extend from, which removes any wanted music between that time and your new extension, so you could hypothetically finish extending the song and crop the beginning of it all the same in Audacity afterwards.

Totally depends on the genre. You can also prompt the voice meta’s, but yea Udio voices are way better, it’s just way harder to use for full tracks. I typically voice swap, but the Stems in Suno are so dirty that it’s not ready for production yet.
It would be great if Suno could adhere to more musical terms. Simple stuff. Like "Tempo of 128bpm", "Key of G minor". That and man these folks should learn how to record the stems separately, so they can be provided without those artifacts you get when you split a song into stems. (Does that make sense?)
For me, until the audio quality and voices improve, and that needs to be a DRAMATIC improvement, none of these features matter. Udio is far better and now has these same features anyway.

I feel like SUNO needs to alow more control on editing. If it generates a song that I like, it needs to allow me to make refinments little by little of the same song and not spits out a completely different song. If I've chose a flow that I like, it needs to lockin on the flow and only make refinments based on new prompts. Right now I feel like Suno is completely luck based on what you going to get. Very difficult to create a song that's very personal and specific.
how do i make a beat so i can sing on it? it allways plays to much solos the whole song when i try to do an instrumental. I cant sing on it, to much solos going on.
Maybe you've tried this option already, but have you turned on the "Instrumental" toggle when trying to create beats? With a subscription you can also turn on the "Exclude Styles" toggle to prevent Suno from adding elements you don't want.
I have tried it, and in my experience it is not working yet because it does not keep the same melody when you change sections of the song; it's very disappointing.
Cropping is something I can do in my DAW after downloading the track and not particularly an exciting new technology. I’m all about this stuff getting better over time but they really just need to have their own fully functional DAW or partner with something like FL Studio and catch up with the needs of music producers who already have an established workflow.

You're right. What you've described happened to me as well. With the Exclude Styles feature this will give us the ability to tweak songs further and avoid missteps by Suno.
At the making of this video Udio didn't have the ability to exclude styles. Suno release the feature first and Udio followed up a couple of days later.
And what is the point of such “cropping”, if everything is cut sharply as well as cut in any program and there is no beautiful introduction. That's why I don't understand this new “trimming” function at all. It would be better if they made better quality of generation, because all I hear is very bad quality. In UDIO the vocals sound much better in quality.
It's to give more editing options in one platform rather than having to do it in multiple platforms. For some these features may not be useful, but for beginners who don't want to tinker the cropping option just works.

Can you exclude everything but the vocals? The quality of Suno's music is awful but, for me, it's better with melodies than Udio if you generate lots of songs and work with the one you like most. I extract the vocals with third-party software but they're never clean. Quite often, I can make them useable but it's time-consuming.
@@MasterAIFast Yes, but Suno's stems are post-generation. Weird artifacts from the instruments distort the singing and elements of the vocals aren't always fully extracted.

@@yaichkin.rudolf You can get the stems by doing the following... 1. Find the song in your library you want to use 2. Click the three dots 3. Hover over the "Create" option 4. Click on "Get Stems" 5. Suno will generate separate stems and add them to your song library 6. Download them the same way as regular songs Suno's app is only available in the US for but, but you can still go to the web version in your phones browser and use it that way too.

Udio still has cleaner audio/vocals. Suno outputs better songs though. I wish the audio quality was higher. I prefer Suno
"Udio" is hard to tame....

"I stand tall" is a lyric that shows up *very* often in Suno songs.
I've been using Suno Ai for music/songs for a while now, find it much better than Udio.
Updates are constant and frequent, would also say always useful.

Only that you cannot crop in Audacity and the re-upload to e.g. extend if it's longer than 60 secs.

Your credits will not roll over. Only scenario is if you buy extra credits on top of what you get for your monthly subscription.

Every voice sounds like it's in a laxative commercial on Suno. It was better back in March. It got flat and generic since then.

I find it isn't perfect yet and requires generating a few versions of the same song to increase your odds of keeping the melody consistent.

Not yet, but it's a frequently requested feature ask on Discord. I'm sure it will be implemented in the future.

Suno has the ability to create stems out of created songs which separates the vocals. Doing this you can download the vocal only.
