@@johnallen2233 Jip, I'm also a drummer, and Siberiano is insane, but he said it himself. Eloy is one of the best out there, next to Chris Turner from Oceans Ate Alaska and Evgeny Novikov from Slaughter To Prevail.
Vman must be really proud to have Eloy, as he was the one that did the connection as Vman knew Eloy before and probably vouched for him to join in the band 44:01

Actually it was clown who contacted him, Eloy did an interview recently saying that he got in contact with clown and talked to each other a LOT and tried to keep doing sepultura at the same time as slipknot, sadly it was not posible so he had to quit sepultura

Its so great hearing the double bass & blast beat parts all the way through the sections without having generic fills thrown in to cover up the drummer tiring out.
So many people saying Jay played so well simply can't hear all the screw ups evidently. I went back and watched older videos to make sure I was remembering correctly and sure enough almost every double bass run was screwed up in some way

Eloy has the power to make a band sound incredible. I know all of them are insane, but he is THAT good. Watch any Sepultura show to understand.
Also it's absolutely the most perfect band for him as well. What a great fit.

I know Weinberg was a big part of the mainstream sk era but he had a bad tempo issue live and songs were sped up way too much. Eloy is just legit a walking metronome and a hard hitter

@@fbaraky660 I’m actually surprised Shawn and Corey let the live tempo issue go as long as they did. Personally it actually caused me to lose interest in SK. But if they sound like this again I’d see them in heartbeat

No show do Welcome Rock Ville o Eloy errou o tempo do breakdown da Eyeless, já nesse show de acertou perfeitamente e adicionou algumas viradas que fazem total diferença na sonoridade da música.
Cada show é um detalhe novo adicionado. Um absurdo completo. Eu não consigo mais ouvir os álbuns antigos do Slipknot em live depois da entrada do Eloy, parece que falta algo. 😂
