Love your 5 Garden tips! My favorite, plant what you like to eat. Are you going to be planting any Berry plants in your garden? If so, Thornless Blackberries are a good choice and easy to pick and propagate🌻👩🏼‍🌾

I’ll hunt for the perfect spot. Love me a good berry. Thanks so much for the suggestion!

Hi guys! I'm catching up on your episodes, missed you. I so regret starting the Jerusalem artichokes in my yard. I heard the warning yet I did it anyway. I was mostly growing for the flowers, now they're taking over!

My grandmother ate Poke salad during the depression which her family gathered on road sides and was often all they had to eat. Crazy but she does love Poke salad. Hau'oli Makahiki Hou you two!!!

That's very interesting! It's hard to imagine that given the abundance in Hawaii, that there couldn't be enough for everyone!

You two seem a bit more relaxed and laid back from previous episodes ….perhaps because you are at least, sort of, moved in🙃. As always love watching your new home unfold ❤

Yes we are. At least the "deadline" stress is gone. Now for some heat and a shower!

Happy to see you posting again. I’d love to see the progress on the house, anything happening in the kitchen yet? Curious about how you are heating the house during the winter so you can keep working in there.

Kitchen is coming soon. Right now, I (Tim) have a portable heater that I run for a bit to take the edge off and a hot water bottle to keep my feet warm at night. Karen is staying warm by being in Florida with her mother 😂

Was interested to hear about your neighbour’s response to the Jerusalem artichokes. My French friend had the same response to sweetcorn as corn is considered animal feed!

I have heard the same story about corn... it's odd how taste preferences can be so different from country to country
