    I’ve always been a Rockwell fan as a painter myself and now I’m searching him out on the web as spiritual antidote to a world racked with overwhelming problems. I wish we could live more in Norman Rockwell’s world.

    God bless his soul. He was wonderful in everyway. I cried so much when I watched the document! The paintings touches your soul like nothing else can. Gonna be missed by the world.

    It's something to look at these pictures again, after seeing them so many years ago on the Saturday Evening Post covers. It seems a world of illusions, all right, by the time you hit your 70th year on the blue dot . . . but some of those illusions bring a warmth to the heart. Best we can do, maybe. Norman Rockwell did it for me, anyway.

    Always like this version of his biography..saw a PBS one recently, and it was so negative and full of claims that he was a "gloryhound " and a top heavy person, and that his "ideals" in his work , were seen as "fake "..better to let the people that he bumped into in life tell his story, rather than a scriptwriter selling a show..
