Me too but I would recommend going for the track pack as you can buy it new today if it is in your budget. It is a cracking car and I can't see Ford making another hot hatch like it....although I really hope they do I the future 👍

Got my Fantastic red Track pack and I must say out the box what a fantastic car it is. Ford have created something quiet special with the track pack. M330 kit will be installed once I’ve got 1k miles on it.

RS for me. The mk4 Focus has always been meh! The facelift has helped but not by much.
Having owned every previous generation of the Focus ST, from the ST170 to the Volvo engine derived version, and the later 5 door versions, there great driving cars. That was until I bought my RS Edition and the difference in power, handling and how planted the car is, in my opinion leaves the ST behind. I’ve not driven the lasted ST or the track pack version, but again it’s all power through two front wheels. The RS may seem to have less pull, generally rear wheel drive cars do give that impression. I’ve owned rear wheel drive cars, my first being a 2 litre Sierra and that felt like it did not have much pull, but it’s deceptive as it’s pushing from behind. The RS, is in my opinion the better drivers car, yes a harder ride, but let’s not forget what the RS was built to do, and that’s to go around a track, hence the trick GKN all wheel drive system and firmer ride. The ST is really built for the road, hence the softer suspension and more forgiving ride.

Me too! I do love my RS! It ticks all the boxes for me but the track is very special too plus can be purchased new today which is a big plus 👍
I could be completely wrong but didn’t ford end the RS brand because they couldn’t meet emissions, but yet the new mk4 ST uses the same 2.3l engine that the mk3 RS uses so how is it any different?
Yes you are right on that i believe. That's why they de-tuned the MK4 ST engine to 280 to help with that. Sadly, the RS does not seem to make the cut anymore despite the fact I've seen over 35mpg out of mine and it's 440hp tuned so a real shame we are unlikely to see another RS. Enjoy them whilst we still can 👍

wow did not like the slimmer front end and headlights on ST" focus RS better looking and thats shocking as not best looking itself imo!
had test drive in RS few years ago i loved how raw but that ride was shocking! some Adjustable shocks and stage 1 it would be miles better
RS is so much better looking though
