I’m about to put this on my compass but my kit didn’t come with any charcoal canister brackets like the instructions say. I didn’t see you mess with them in your video, are the brackets not needed?
I had no issued post install. I got it aligned a few days after. I had the lift in for about 2 years before I upgraded to the Grand Cherokee trail hawk
I just order this lift kit, but i'm confused because the specs says it fits on TRAILHAWK models, but other web pages say that needs a cut or other specific lift kit for TRailhawk... i have the same compass like you but 2019, can you help me with this question?
Hi does 2 inch lift kit for jeep compass 4x4 makes sense for mild off-roading will it impact breaking /body roll /or affect abs / tcs/milage Since trailhawk is discontinued in india normal varient 4x4 bumpers are low..so i guess adding 2 inch lift i can do mild offroading
So I just finished same lift I my wife’s compass,ran into 2 problems I went with 245/65/17 in stock wheel and they rub with need 1.5” spacers hub centric to keep tires from rubbing shock mountsand also I can’t align it at show kit did not come with camber kit my wheels and factory tires are a off a lot will need to order a camber bolt kit with plates did you have this problem
I did not need a spacer with the wheel and tire combo I used. I literally bolted this kit on then purchased some new wild peak tires for the stock wheels
Nice thanks buddy, did you jump to bigger tire size? I did 245/65/17 stick wheel and was rite on the shock mounts kissing them to close for comfort so I preferred spacers and then aligned shop said they couldn’t bc of lift I would need camber bolts

Looks awesome! Pretty much the same lift and tire set up I want to do with the RC and AT3s. why did you have to grind down the strut mount?

I saw that in the instructions they said skid plate had to be cut. I did NOT have to cut mine. Everything fit great

Yes I have new tires on! I’ll be making a video driving on the beach with the new setup this year.

It drives the same but you do need an alignment after it’s installed

You do not need to change the wheel and tires when you lift your jeep. It should work perfectly fine
What size tires can I go up to with this lift?
I think a 235/60/17 without using a spacer.
